اَللّٰهُمَّ طَهِّرْنِیْ وَ طَهِّرْ لِیْ قَلْبِیْ

allahumma tahhirni wa tahhir li qalbi

O Allah, (please) cleanse me, cleanse my heart for me,

وَاشْرَحْ لِیْ صَدْرِیْ

washrah li sadri

expand my breast,

وَ اَجِرْ عَلٰی لِسَانِیْ مِدْحَتَكَ وَالثَّنَآئِ عَلَیْكَ

wa ajri `ala lisani midhatika wa mahabbataka walththana'a `alayka

and let Your praise, eulogy, and love flow out from my tongue;

فَاِنَّهٗ لَا قُوَّۃَ اِلَّا بِكَ

fa'innahu la quwwata illa bika

since indeed there is no power except with You.

وَ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ اَنَّ قِوَامَ دِیْنِی

wa qad `alimtu anna qiwama dini

I know for sure that the basis of my faith

التَّسْلِیْمُ لِاَمْرِكَ وَالْاِتِّبَاعُ لِسُنَّۃِ نَبِیِّكَ

alttaslimu li'amrika walittiba`u lisunnati nabiyyika

is to submit to Your decree, to keep to the traditions of Your Prophet,

وَ الشَّهَادَۃُ عَلٰی جَمِیْعِ خَلْقِكَ

walshshahadatu `ala jami`i khalqika

and to bear witness to all Your creatures.

اَللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْهُ لیْ شِفَآئً وَ نُوْراً

allahumma ij`alhu li shifa'an wa nuran

O Allah, (please) make it curative and light for me.

اِنَّكَ عَلٰی كُلِّ شَیْئٍ قَدِیْرٌ۔

innaka `ala kulli shay'in qadirun

You verily have power over all things.
