يَا مَنْ لَا يَخْفَى عَلَيْهِ أَنْبَاءُ الْمُتَظَلِّمِينَ

Yā man lā yakhfā ‘alayhi anbā’u al-mutaẓallimīna

O He whom the complaints of the oppressed are not hidden from.

وَيَا مَنْ لَا يَحْتَاجُ فِي قِصَصِهِمْ

Wa yā man lā yaḥtāju fī qiṣaṣihim

And O He who does not need in their accounts.

إِلَى شَهَادَاتِ الشَّاهِدِينَ

Ilā shahādāti ash-shāhidīna

To the testimonies of witnesses.

وَيَا مَنْ قَرُبَتْ نُصْرَتُهُ مِنَ الْمَظْلُومِينَ

Wa yā man qarubat nuṣratuhu mina al-maẓlūmīna

And O He whose help is near to the oppressed.

وَيَا مَنْ بَعُدَ عَوْنُهُ عَنِ الظَّالِمِينَ

Wa yā man ba‘uda ‘awnuhu ‘ani aẓ-ẓālimīna

And O He whose aid is far from the oppressors.

قَدْ عَلِمْتَ يَا إِلَهِي مَا نَالَنِي

Qad ‘alimta yā ilāhī mā nālanī

You know, O my God, what has befallen me.

مِنْ فُلَانٍ بْنِ فُلَانٍ مِمَّا حَظَرْتَ

Min fulānin bni fulānin mimmā ḥaẓarta

From such-and-such of what You forbade.

وَانْتَهَكَهُ مِنِّي مِمَّا حَجَزْتَ عَلَيْهِ

Wa intahakahu minnī mimmā ḥajazta ‘alayhi

And he violated against me what You prohibited.

بَطَرًا فِي نِعْمَتِكَ عِنْدَهُ

Baṭaran fī ni‘matika ‘indahu

Arrogantly in Your blessings upon him.

وَاغْتِرَارًا بِنَكِيرِكَ عَلَيْهِ

Wa ightirāran binakīrika ‘alayhi

And deceived by Your disapproval of him.

أَللَّهُمَّ فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

Allāhumma faṣalli ‘alā Muḥammadin wa ālihi

O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and his family.

وَخُذْ ظَالِمِي وَعَدُوِّي عَنْ ظُلْمِي

Wa khudh ẓālimī wa ‘aduwwī ‘an ẓulmī

And seize my oppressor and enemy from my oppression.

بِقُوَّتِكَ وَافْلُلْ حَدَّهُ عَنِّي

Biquwwatika wa aflul ḥaddahu ‘annī

With Your strength, and blunt his edge against me.

بِقُدْرَتِكَ وَاجْعَلْ لَهُ شُغْلًا

Biqudratika wa ij‘al lahu shughlan

With Your power, and make him preoccupied.

فِيمَا يَلِيهِ وَعَجْزًا عَمَّا يُنَاوِيهِ

Fīmā yalīhi wa ‘ajzan ‘ammā yunāwīhi

With what concerns him and incapable of opposing.

أَللَّهُمَّ وَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

Allāhumma wa ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammadin wa ālihi

O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and his family.

وَلَا تُسَوِّغْ لَهُ ظُلْمِي

Wa lā tusawwigh lahu ẓulmī

And do not permit him my oppression.

وَأَحْسِنْ عَلَيْهِ عَوْنِي

Wa aḥsin ‘alayhi ‘awnī

And improve my aid against him.

وَاعْصِمْنِي مِنْ مِثْلِ أَفْعَالِهِ

Wa a‘ṣimnī min mithli af‘ālihi

And protect me from deeds like his.

وَلَا تَجْعَلْنِي فِي مِثْلِ حَالِهِ

Wa lā taj‘alnī fī mithli ḥālihi

And do not place me in his state.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammadin wa ālihi

O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and his family.

وَأَعِدْنِي عَلَيْهِ عَدْوَى حَاضِرَةً

Wa a‘idnī ‘alayhi ‘adwan ḥāḍiratan

And grant me against him a present retribution.

تَكُونُ مِنْ غَيْظِي بِهِ شِفَاءً

Takūnu min ghayẓī bihi shifā’an

That serves as healing from my anger toward him.

وَمِنْ حَنَقِي عَلَيْهِ وَفَاءً

Wa min ḥanaqī ‘alayhi wafā’an

And fulfillment of my resentment against him.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammadin wa ālihi

O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and his family.

وَعَوِّضْنِي مِنْ ظُلْمِهِ لِي عَفْوَكَ

Wa ‘awwiḍnī min ẓulmihi lī ‘afwaka

And compensate me for his oppression with Your pardon.

وَأَبْدِلْنِي بِسُوءِ صَنِيعِهِ بِي

Wa abdilnī bisū’i ṣanī‘ihi bī

And replace his evil deed toward me.

رَحْمَتَكَ فَكُلُّ مَكْرُوهٍ جَلَلٌ

Raḥmataka fakullu makrūhin jalalun

With Your mercy, for every harm is great.

دُونَ سَخَطِكَ وَكُلُّ مُرْزِئَةٍ

Dūna sakhaṭika wa kullu murzi’atin

Compared to Your displeasure, and every affliction.

سَوَاءٌ مَعَ مَوْجِدَتِكَ

Sawā’un ma‘a mawjidatika

Is equal with Your wrath.

أَللَّهُمَّ فَكَمَا كَرَّهْتَ إِلَيَّ أَنْ أَظْلِمَ

Allāhumma fakamā karrahta ilayya an aẓlima

O Allah, as You made oppression detestable to me.

فَقِنِي مِنْ أَنْ أُظْلَمَ

Faqinī min an uẓlama

Protect me from being oppressed.

أَللَّهُمَّ لَا أَشْكُو إِلَى أَحَدٍ سِوَاكَ

Allāhumma lā ashkū ilā aḥadin siwāka

O Allah, I complain to none but You.

وَلَا أَسْتَعِينُ بِحَاكِمٍ غَيْرِكَ حَاشَاكَ

Wa lā asta‘īnu biḥākimin ghayrika ḥāshāka

Nor seek help from a judge besides You, far be it.

فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

Faṣalli ‘alā Muḥammadin wa ālihi

So bless Muhammad and his family.

وَصِلْ دُعَائِي بِالْإِجَابَةِ

Wa ṣil du‘ā’ī bi-al-ijābati

And connect my supplication with acceptance.

وَأَقْرِنْ شِكَايَتِي بِالتَّغْيِيرِ

Wa aqrinn shikāyatī bi-at-taghīri

And pair my complaint with change.

أَللَّهُمَّ لَا تَفْتِنِّي بِالْقُنُوطِ

Allāhumma lā taftinnī bi-al-qunūṭi

O Allah, do not test me with despair.

مِنْ إِنْصَافِكَ وَلَا تَفْتِنْهُ

Min inṣāfika wa lā taftinhu

Of Your justice, nor test him.

بِالْأَمْنِ مِنْ إِنْكَارِكَ

Bi-al-amni min inkārika

With security from Your disapproval.

فَيُصِرَّ عَلَى ظُلْمِي

Fayuṣirra ‘alā ẓulmī

Lest he persists in my oppression.

وَيُحَاضِرَنِي بِحَقِّي

Wa yuḥāḍiranī biḥaqqī

And denies me my right.

وَعَرِّفْهُ عَمَّا قَلِيلٍ مَا

Wa ‘arrifhu ‘ammā qalīlin mā

And make him know soon what.

أَوْعَدْتَ الظَّالِمِينَ

Aw‘adta aẓ-ẓālimīna

You promised the oppressors.

وَعَرِّفْنِي مَا وَعَدْتَ مِنْ

Wa ‘arrifnī mā wa‘adta min

And make me know what You promised.

إِجَابَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ

Ijābati al-muḍṭarrīna

For answering the distressed.

أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammadin wa ālihi

O Allah, send blessings on Muhammad and his family.

وَوَفِّقْنِي لِقَبُولِ مَا قَضَيْتَ

Wa waffiqnī liqabūli mā qaḍayta

And enable me to accept what You decreed.

لِي وَعَلَيَّ وَرَضِّنِي

Lī wa ‘alayya wa raḍḍinī

For and against me, and make me content.

بِمَا أَخَذْتَ لِي وَمِنِّي

Bimā akhadhta lī wa minnī

With what You took for and from me.

وَاهْدِنِي لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ

Wa ihdinī lil-latī hiya aqwamu

And guide me to that which is most upright.

وَاسْتَعْمِلْنِي بِمَا هُوَ أَسْلَمُ

Wa ista‘milnī bimā huwa aslamu

And employ me in what is safest.

أَللَّهُمَّ وَإِنْ كَانَتِ الْخِيَرَةُ لِي

Allāhumma wa in kānati al-khiyaratu lī

O Allah, if the best choice for me.

عِنْدَكَ فِي تَأْخِيرِ الْأَخْذِ

‘Indaka fī ta’khīri al-akhdi

Lies with You in delaying my retribution.

لِي وَتَرْكِ الِانْتِقَامِ مِمَّنْ

Lī wa tarki al-intiqāmi mimman

And withholding vengeance from my oppressor.

ظَلَمَنِي إِلَى يَوْمِ الْفَصْلِ

Ẓalamanī ilā yawmi al-faṣli

Until the day of decision.

وَمَجْمَعِ الْخَصْمِ

Wa majma‘i al-khaṣmi

And gathering of adversaries.

فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

Faṣalli ‘alā Muḥammadin wa ālihi

So bless Muhammad and his family.

وَأَيِّدْنِي مِنْكَ بِنِيَّةٍ صَادِقَةٍ

Wa ayyidnī minka biniyyatin ṣādiqatin

And support me from You with a sincere intention.

وَصَبْرٍ دَائِمٍ

Wa ṣabrin dā’imin

And enduring patience.

وَأَعِذْنِي مِنْ سُوءِ الرَّغْبَةِ

Wa a‘idhnī min sū’i ar-raghbati

And protect me from evil desires.

وَهَلَعِ أَهْلِ الْحِرْصِ

Wa hala‘i ahli al-ḥirṣi

And the panic of the greedy.

وَصَوِّرْ فِي قَلْبِي مِثَالَ

Wa ṣawwir fī qalbī mithāla

And depict in my heart the image.

مَا ادَّخَرْتَ لِي مِنْ ثَوَابِكَ

Mā iddakharta lī min thawābika

Of what You reserved for me of Your reward.

وَأَعْدَدْتَ لِخَصْمِي مِنْ جَزَائِكَ

Wa a‘dadta likhaṣmī min jazā’ika

And prepared for my adversary of Your recompense.

وَعِقَابِكَ وَاجْعَلْ ذَلِكَ

Wa ‘iqābika wa ij‘al dhālika

And punishment, and make that.

سَبَبًا لِقَنَاعَتِي بِمَا قَضَيْتَ

Sababan liqanā‘atī bimā qaḍayta

A cause for my contentment with what You decreed.

وَثِقَتِي بِمَا تَخَيَّرْتَ

Wa thiqatī bimā takhayyarta

And my trust in Your choice.

آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Āmīna rabba al-‘ālamīna

Amen, Lord of the worlds.

إِنَّكَ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ

Innaka dhū al-faḍli al-‘aẓīmi

For You are the Possessor of great favor.

وَأَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Wa anta ‘alā kulli shay’in qadīrun

And You are capable of all things.
