Dua 62 When any difficulty comes, specially ask this dua:
(Surah Al-A'raf (7), Verse 126)

رَبَّنَآ أَفْرِغْ عَلَيْنَا صَبْرًا وَتَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ

Rabbanaaa afrigh 'alainaa sabranw wa tawaffanaa muslimeen.

Our Lord! Pour patience upon us, and grant us to die as Muslims.

(Surah Al-A'raf (7), Verse 126)

When poverty and helplessness strike, when caught in difficulties, to avoid straying from guidance in such situations and to prevent despair, this dua should be asked from Allah.
Pharaoh's magicians asked this dua to save themselves from Pharaoh.
By Pharaoh's command, a group of magicians arrived to defeat Musa (AS), for Pharaoh in his ignorance believed Musa (AS) to be merely a great sorcerer. When ordered by Pharaoh, the magicians cast their ropes onto the ground, and all the ropes took the form of snakes.
Then Allah commanded Musa (AS): "Throw down the staff in your hand." When Hazrat Musa (AS) did so, his staff became a mighty serpent that swallowed up all the snakes.
Enraged, Pharaoh threatened to execute all the magicians. However, these were wise people who now understood the truth - that Musa (AS) was indeed a Prophet, not a magician, and this was a true miracle from Allah. So all the magicians ridiculed Pharaoh's threats, fell into prostration (sajdah), and prayed the aforementioned dua to seek Allah's protection from Pharaoh's tyranny. We too should recite this dua in similar circumstances.
