Dua 49 Do not compromise in faith
(Surah Al-Mumtahanah (60), Verse 4)

رَّبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْنَا وَإِلَيْكَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

Rabbanaa 'alaika tawakkalnaa wa ilaika anabnaa wa ilaikal maser.

Our Lord! In You do we put our trust, and to You do we turn penitently, and toward You is the destination.

(Surah Al-Mumtahanah (60), Verse 4)

Allah commands that there can be no compromise in faith - whether concerning children, spouse or parents. The example is Prophet Ibrahim (A.S) who severed ties with his family to remain steadfast in Allah's religion, keeping only his believing wife, nephew and a few faithful companions, while making this supplication.
