بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ

bis-millahir-rahmanir-rahim

In the Name of Allah, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate

[00:12.00]

اَللّٰهُمَّ اِنِّيۤ اَسْاَلُكَ، اَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma inni as'aluka an tusalliya `ala muhammadin

O Allah, I beseech You to send blessings upon Muhammad

[00:23.00]

نَبِيِّ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَ كَلِمَةِ نُوْرِكَ

nabiyyi rahmatika wa kalimati nurika

the Prophet of Your mercy and the Word of Your Light,

[00:33.00]

وَ اَنْ تَمْلَاَ قَلْبِيْ نُورَ الْيَقِيْنِ

wa an tamla'a qalbi nura alyaqini

and to fill in my heart with the illumination of certitude,

[00:41.00]

وَ صَدْرِيْ نُوْرَ الْاِيْمَانِ

wa sadri nura al-imani

my chest with the illumination of faith,

[00:48.00]

وَ فِكْرِيْ نُوْرَ النِّيَّاتِ

wa fikri nura alnniyyati

my intellect with the illumination of honest intentions,

[00:54.00]

وَ عَزْمِيْ نُوْرَ الْعِلْمِ

wa `azmi nura al`ilmi

my determination with the illumination of knowledge,

[01:02.00]

وَ قُوَّتِيْ نُوْرَ الْعَمَلِ

wa quwwati nura al`amali

my strength with the illumination of work,

[01:08.00]

وَ لِسَانِيْ نُوْرَ الصِّدْقِ

wa lisani nura alssidqi

my tongue with the illumination of honesty,

[01:16.00]

وَ دِيْنِيْ نُوْرَ الْبَصَاۤئِرِ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ

wa dini nura albasa'iri min `indika

my religion with the illumination of clear evidence from You,

[01:26.00]

وَ بَصَرِيْ نُوْرَ الضِّيَاۤءِ

wa basari nura alddiya'i

my sight with the illumination of brightness,

[01:32.00]

وَ سَمْعِيْ نُوْرَ الْحِكْمَةِ

wa sam`i nura alhikmati

my hearing with the illumination of wisdom,

[01:39.00]

وَ مَوَدَّتِيْ نُوْرَ الْمُوَالَاةِ لِمُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِهِ

wa mawaddati nura almuwalati limuhammadin wa alihi

and my faculty of love with the illumination of sincere loyalty to Muhammad and his Household,

[01:49.00]

عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ

`alayhim alssalamu

peace be upon them,

[01:54.00]

حَتّٰىۤ اَلْقَاكَ وَ قَدْ وَفَيْتُ بِعَهْدِكَ وَ مِيْثَاقِكَ

hatta alqaka wa qad wafaytu bi`ahdika wa mithaqika

so that I, when I meet You, will have fulfilled the pledge and covenant that I made with You

[02:07.00]

فَتُغَشِّيَنِيْ رَحْمَتَكَ [رَحْمَتُكَ‏]

fatughashshiyani rahmataka

and then Your mercy will encompass me.

[02:12.00]

يَا وَلِيُّ يَا حَمِيْدُ

ya waliyyu ya hamidu

O Protector! O Worthy of all praise!

[02:17.00]

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin

O Allah, bless Muhammad (al-Mahdi)

[02:23.00]

حُجَّتِكَ فِيۤ اَرْضِكَ

hujjatika fi ardika

Your argument in Your land,

[02:29.00]

وَ خَلِيْفَتِكَ فِيْ بِلَادِكَ

wa khalifatika fi biladika

Your viceroy in Your countries,

[02:36.00]

وَ الدَّاعِيۤ اِلٰى سَبِيْلِكَ

waldda`i ila sabilika

the caller to Your course,

[02:42.00]

وَ الْقَاۤئِمِ بِقِسْطِكَ

walqa'imi biqistika

the establisher of Your justice,

[02:49.00]

وَ الثَّاۤئِرِ بِاَمْرِكَ

walththa'iri bi'amrika

the revolting by Your command,

[02:56.00]

وَلِيِّ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ

waliyyi almu'minina

the authority of the believers,

[03:01.00]

وَ بَوَارِ الْكَافِرِيْنَ

wa bawari alkafirina

the ruiner of the unbelievers,

[03:07.00]

وَ مُجَلِّيْ الظُّلْمَةِ

wa mujalli alzzulumati

the remover of the murk,

[03:10.00]

وَ مُنِيْرِ الْحَقِّ

wa muniri alhaqqi

the illuminator of the truth,

[03:14.00]

وَ النَّاطِقِ بِالْحِكْمَةِ وَ الصِّدْقِ

walnnatiqi bilhikmati walssidqi

the speaker with wisdom and honesty,

[03:21.00]

وَ كَلِمَتِكَ التَّآمَّةِ فِيۤ اَرْضِكَ

wa kalimatika alttammati fi ardika

the perfect Word of You in Your lands,

[03:29.00]

الْمُرْتَقِبِ الْخَاۤئِفِ

almurtaqibi alkha'ifi

the vigilant and fearful,

[03:36.00]

وَ الْوَلِيِّ النَّاصِحِ

walwaliyyi alnnasihi

the well-wishing saint,

[03:42.00]

سَفِيْنَةِ النَّجَاةِ

safinati alnnajati

the ark of salvation,

[03:48.00]

وَ عَلَمِ الْهُدٰى

wa `alami alhuda

the sign of guidance,

[03:53.00]

وَ نُوْرِ اَبْصَارِ الْوَرٰى

wa nuri absari alwara

the light of the peoples’ sights,

[04:00.00]

وَ خَيْرِ مَنْ تَقَمَّصَ وَ ارْتَدٰى

wa khayri man taqammasa wa irtada

the best of all those who put clothes on their bodies,

[04:07.00]

وَ مُجَلِّي الْعَمٰىۤ

wa mujalli al`ama

and the unveiler of blindness,

[04:12.00]

اَلَّذِيْ يَمْلَاُ الْاَرْضَ عَدْلًا وَ قِسْطًا

alladhi yamla'u al-arda `adlan wa qistan

who will fill the lands with justice and equity

[04:18.00]

كَمَا مُلِئَتْ ظُلْمًا وَ جَوْرًا.

kama muli'at zulman wa jawran

as it would be filled up with wrong and unfairness.

[04:24.00]

اِنَّكَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

innaka `ala kulli shay'in qadirun

You verily have power over all things.

[04:31.00]

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى وَلِيِّكَ

allahumma salli `ala waliyyika

O Allah, bless Your vicegerent

[04:37.00]

وَ ابْنِ اَوْلِيَاۤئِكَ، الَّذِيْنَ فَرَضْتَ طَاعَتَهُمْ

wabni awliya'ika alladhina faradta ta`atahum

and the son of Your vicegerents the obedience to whom You have made incumbent upon us

[04:48.00]

وَ اَوْجَبْتَ حَقَّهُمْ

wa awjabta haqqahum

and the observance of the right of whom You have made obligatory

[04:54.00]

وَ اَذْهَبْتَ عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْسَ

wa adhhabta `anhum alrrijsa

and from whom You have removed filth

[04:59.00]

وَ طَهَّرْتَهُمْ تَطْهِيْرًا

wa tahhartahum tathiran

and whom You have purified with thorough purifying.

[05:06.00]

اَللّٰهُمَّ انْصُرْهُ وَ انْتَصِرْ بِهِ لِدِيْنِكَ

allahumma insurhu wantasir bihi lidinika

O Allah, give him victory and make him the supporter of Your religion

[05:14.00]

وَ انْصُرْ بِهِ اَوْلِيَاۤءَكَ، وَ اَوْلِيَاۤءَهُ

wansur bihi awliya'aka wa awliya'ahu

and through him, give victory to Your and his adherents,

[05:22.00]

وَ شِيْعَتَهُ وَ اَنْصَارَهُ

wa shi`atahu wa ansarahu

followers, and backers.

[05:28.00]

وَ اجْعَلْنَا مِنْهُمْ

waj`alna minhum

Include us with them.

[05:33.00]

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَعِذْهُ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ بَاغٍ وَ طَاغٍ

allahumma a`idhhu min sharri kulli baghin wa taghin

O Allah, protect him against the evil of every transgressor and tyrant

[05:46.00]

وَ مِنْ شَرِّ جَمِيْعِ خَلْقِكَ

wa min sharri jami`i khalqika

and against the evils of all Your creatures.

[05:51.00]

وَ احْفَظْهُ مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَ مِنْ خَلْفِهِ

wahfazhu min bayni yadayhi wa min khalfihi

Guard him from ahead of him, behind him,

[05:58.00]

وَ عَنْ يَمِيْنِهِ وَ عَنْ شِمَالِهِ

wa `an yaminihi wa `an shimalihi

his right side, and his left side.

[06:04.00]

وَ احْرُسْهُ وَ امْنَعْهُ مِنْ اَنْ يُوْصَلَ اِلَيْهِ بِسُوۤءٍ

wahrus-hu wamna`hu min an yusala ilayhi bisu'in

Watch him and defend him against anything that may cause evil to him.

[06:09.00]

وَ احْفَظْ فِيْهِ رَسُوْلَكَ وَ اٰلَ رَسُوْلِكَ

wahfaz fihi rasulaka wa ala rasulika

Save through him Your Messenger and the family of Your Messenger.

[06:17.00]

وَ اَظْهِرْ بِهِ الْعَدْلَ

wa azhir bihi al`adla

Manifest justice through him.

[06:22.00]

وَ اَيِّدْهُ بِالنَّصْرِ

wa ayyid-hu bilnnasri

Aid him with victory.

[06:27.00]

وَ انْصُرْ نَاصِرِيْهِ

wansur nasirihi

Help his backers.

[06:32.00]

وَ اخْذُلْ خَاذِلِيْهِ

wakhdhul khadhilihi

Frustrate those who intend to disappoint him.

[06:37.00]

وَ اقْصِمْ قَاصِمِيْهِ

waqsim qasimihi

Terminate those who intend to eradicate him.

[06:41.00]

وَ اقْصِمْ بِهِ جَبَابِرَةَ الْكُفْرِ

waqsim bihi jababirata alkufri

And, through him, terminate the tyrants of unbelief,

[06:48.00]

وَ اقْتُلْ بِهِ الْكُفَّارَ وَ الْمُنَافِقِيْنَ

waqtul bihi alkuffara walmunafiqina

kill the disbelievers, the hypocrites,

[06:54.00]

وَ جَمِيْعَ الْمُلْحِدِيْنَ

wa jami`a almulhidina

and all atheists,

[06:58.00]

حَيْثُ كَانُوْا مِنْ مَشَارِقِ الْاَرْضِ وَ مَغَارِبِهَا

haythu kanu min mashariqi al-ardi wa magharibiha

wherever they are; in the east or the west of the earth

[07:06.00]

بَرِّهَا وَ بَحْرِهَا

barriha wa bahriha

on the lands or in the oceans,

[07:11.00]

وَ امْلَأْ بِهِ الْاَرْضَ عَدْلًا

wamla' bihi al-arda `adlan

and, through him, fill in the earth with justice,

[07:17.00]

وَ اَظْهِرْ بِهِ دِيْنَ نَبِيِّكَ

wa azhir bihi dina nabiyyika

manifest the religion of Your Prophet,

[07:22.00]

صَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ

salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi wa sallama

blessings and peace of You be upon him and his Household,

[07:28.00]

وَ اجْعَلْنِيْ اللّٰهُمَّ مِنْ اَنْصَارِهِ وَ اَعْوَانِهِ

waj`alni allahumma min ansarihi wa a`wanihi

make me, O Allah, of his supporters, helpers,

[07:37.00]

وَ اَتْبَاعِهِ وَ شِيْعَتِهِ

wa atba`ihi wa shi`atihi

followers, and adherents;

[07:43.00]

وَ اَرِنِيْ فِيۤ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّلَامُ مَا يَأْمُلُوْنَ

wa arini fi ali muhammadin `alayhim alssalamu ma ya'muluna

allow me to see the hopes of the family of Muhammad, peace be upon them, come true,

[07:51.00]

وَ فِي عَدُوِّهِمْ مَا يَحْذَرُوْنَ

wa fi `aduwwihim ma yahdharuna

and the hazards of their enemies come true.

[07:56.00]

اِلٰهَ الْحَقِّ، اٰمِيْنَ

ilaha alhaqqi amina

O God of Truth, respond.

[08:00.00]

يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْاِكْرَامِ

ya dha aljalali wal-ikrami

O Lord of Glory and Honor!

[08:05.00]

يَاۤ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

ya arhama alrrahimina

O most merciful of those who show mercy!
