اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ يَا لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

O Allah, indeed I ask You by there is no deity except You, O there is no deity except You,

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ الْأَخْيَارِ

to send blessings upon Muhammad and his family and his pure and good household.

وَ أَنْ تَتُوبَ عَلَيَّ فِي هَذَا الشَّهْرِ كَمَا تُبْتَ عَلَى أَبِينَا آدَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ

And that You turn towards me in this month as You turned towards our father Adam, peace be upon him.

وَ أَنْ تُنَجِّيَنِي مِنْ كُرُبَاتِ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ كَمَا نَجَّيْتَ نُوحاً عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ‌ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيمِ‌

And that You save me from the troubles of this world and the hereafter as You saved Noah, peace be upon him, from the great distress.

وَ أَنْ تُبَارِكَ لِي فِي هَذَا الشَّهْرِ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

And that You bless me in this month as You blessed Abraham and the family of Abraham, indeed You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.

وَ أَنْ تَرْضَى عَنِّي فِيهِ كَمَا رَضِيتَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ

And that You are pleased with me in it as You were pleased with Ishmael, peace be upon him.

وَ أَنْ تَصْرِفَ عَنِّي الْفَحْشَاءَ كَمَا صَرَفْتَ عَنْ يُوسُفَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ

And that You turn away from me indecencies as You turned them away from Joseph, peace be upon him.

وَ أَنْ تَمُنَّ عَلَيَّ بِالْفَضْلِ كَمَا مَنَنْتَ عَلَى مُوسَى عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ [وَ هَارُونَ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ‌]

And that You bestow Your favor upon me as You bestowed it upon Moses and Aaron, peace be upon them.

وَ أَنْ تَتَقَبَّلَ مِنِّي كَمَا تَقَبَّلْتَ مِنْ دَاوُدَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ

And that You accept from me as You accepted from David, peace be upon him.

وَ أَنْ تَسْتَجِيبَ لِي دُعَائِي كَمَا اسْتَجَبْتَ لِزَكَرِيَّا عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ

And that You respond to my prayer as You responded to Zechariah, peace be upon him.

وَ أَنْ تَكْشِفَ عَنِّي الضُّرَّ كَمَا كَشَفْتَهُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ

And that You relieve me of harm as You relieved Job, peace be upon him.

وَ أَنْ تُنَجِّيَنِي مِنَ الْآفَاتِ كَمَا نَجَّيْتَ ذَا النُّونِ مِنْ بَطْنِ الْحُوتِ

And that You save me from afflictions as You saved Jonah from the belly of the whale.

وَ أَنْ تَرْفَعَ لِي مَنْزِلًا مُبَارَكاً كَمَا رَفَعْتَ لِإِدْرِيسَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ‌ مَكاناً عَلِيًّا

And that You raise for me a blessed station as You raised for Idris, peace be upon him, a high place.

وَ أَنْ تُوَفِّقَنِي لِلصَّالِحَاتِ كَمَا وَفَّقْتَ شُعَيْباً عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ

And that You grant me success in doing righteous deeds as You granted success to Shu'ayb, peace be upon him.

وَ أَنْ تُسَلِّمَنِي كَمَا سَلَّمْتَ إِلْيَاسَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ

And that You deliver me as You delivered Elias, peace be upon him.

وَ أَنْ تَهَبَ لِي بِبَرَكَتِهِ وَ يُمْنِهِ‌ مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطاناً نَصِيراً

And that You grant me, by Your blessing and good fortune from Your presence, a supporting authority

كَمَا وَهَبْتَ لِسُلَيْمَانَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ مُلْكاً عَظِيماً

as You granted Solomon, peace be upon him, a great kingdom.

وَ أَنْ تُكْرِمَنِي كَمَا أَكْرَمْتَ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ

And that You honor me as You honored Jesus, son of Mary, peace be upon them.

وَ أَنْ تَهْدِيَنِي كَمَا هَدَيْتَ نَبِيَّنَا مُحَمَّداً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ

And that You guide me as You guided our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family.

وَ أَنْ تُعْتِقَنِي فِيهِ مِنَ النَّارِ بِمَسْأَلَتِي إِيَّاكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ

And that You free me from the Fire in it with my supplication to You, by Your mercy.

وَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَنِي كَمَا تُحِبُّ وَ تَرْضَى فِي جَمِيعِ الْأُمُورِ

And that You make me as You love and are pleased in all matters,

إِنَّكَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ

indeed You are over all things capable.

وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ.

And may Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and his pure family.
