اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ يَا مَنْ كَتَبَ‌ لَأَغْلِبَنَّ أَنَا وَ رُسُلِي

O Allah, I ask You, O He who decreed, "My messengers and I will indeed prevail."

إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَوِيٌّ عَزِيزٌ

Indeed, Allah is Strong, Mighty.

يَا اللَّهُ‌ الْمَلِكُ الْقُدُّوسُ السَّلامُ الْمُؤْمِنُ

O Allah, the Sovereign, the Holy, the Peace, the Believer,

الْمُهَيْمِنُ الْعَزِيزُ الْجَبَّارُ الْمُتَكَبِّرُ

the Overseer, the Mighty, the Compeller, the Supreme.

الْخالِقُ الْبارِئُ الْمُصَوِّرُ

The Creator, the Maker, the Fashioner;

لَكَ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَى

to You belong the Best Names.

يُسَبِّحُ لَكَ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ

Everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies You,

وَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

and You are the Mighty, the Wise.

يَا مَنْ أَيَّدَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا عَلى‌ عَدُوِّهِمْ

O He who supported the believers over their enemies,

فَأَصْبَحُوا ظاهِرِينَ‌

so they became apparent.

يَا مَنْ‌ بَعَثَ فِي الْأُمِّيِّينَ رَسُولًا مِنْهُمْ

O He who sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves,

يَتْلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ آياتِهِ وَ يُزَكِّيهِمْ

reciting to them His verses, purifying them,

وَ يُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْكِتابَ وَ الْحِكْمَةَ

and teaching them the Book and wisdom.

يَا خَيْرَ الرَّازِقِينَ

O Best of Providers,

يَا مَنْ‌ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ

to Whom belongs the dominion and all praise,

وَ هُوَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ

and He is over all things competent.

يَا مَنْ‌ خَلَقَ الْمَوْتَ وَ الْحَياةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا

O He who created death and life to test which of you is best in deed,

وَ هُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الْغَفُورُ

and He is the Mighty, the Forgiving.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَا نَاجَيْتُكَ بِهِ

O Allah, I ask You, by what I have appealed to You with

فِي يَوْمِي هَذَا وَ شَهْرِي هَذَا

on this day and in this month,

الَّذِي عَظَّمْتَهُ وَ شَرَّفْتَهُ وَ كَرَّمْتَهُ

which You have magnified, honored, and dignified,

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الطَّيِّبِينَ الْأَخْيَارِ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ

to send blessings on Muhammad and his pure, good household among Your creation.

وَ أَنْ تُقِيلَنِي [تَقْبَلَنِي‌] عَلَى مَا كَانَ مِنِّي

And to accept me despite what I have done,

فَقَدْ تَعْلَمُ حَاجَتِي

for You know my need.

وَ أَعْطِنِي سُؤْلِي

Grant me my request and desire,

وَ رَغْبَتِي فَأَنْتَ عَالِمٌ بِمَا فِي نَفْسِي

for You are aware of what is in my soul.

فَاغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَ اقْضِ لِي سَائِرَ حَوَائِجِي وَ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي

Forgive me my sins, fulfill all my needs, and rectify my affairs.

وَ ارْزُقْنِي خَيْرَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ

Grant me the best of this world and the hereafter,

وَ فُكَّ رَقَبَتِي مِنَ النَّارِ

and free my neck from the Fire.

وَ هَبْ لِي رِضْوَانَكَ وَ الْجَنَّةَ

Bestow upon me Your pleasure and Paradise,

فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَكَ يَسِيرُ

for that is easy for You,

وَ أَنْتَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ

and You are capable of everything,

وَ أَنَا إِلَيْكَ فَقِيرٌ

and I am in need of You.

وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ.

And may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad, the Prophet, and his family, and grant peace.
