يَا مَنْ‌ رَفَعَ السَّماواتِ‌ [السَّمَاءِ] بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَها

O Allah, O He who raised the heavens without any pillars that you can see,

ثُمَّ اسْتَوى‌ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ‌ يُدَبِّرُ الْأَمْرَ

then established Himself upon the Throne, managing the affair,

ما مِنْ شَفِيعٍ إِلَّا مِنْ بَعْدِ إِذْنِهِ‌

there is no intercessor except after His permission.

يَا مَنْ‌ يَعْلَمُ ما تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ أُنْثى‌

O He who knows what every female carries

وَ ما تَغِيضُ الْأَرْحامُ وَ ما تَزْدادُ

and what the wombs decrease and increase,

وَ كُلُّ شَيْ‌ءٍ عِنْدَهُ بِمِقْدارٍ

and everything with Him is measured,

عالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَ الشَّهادَةِ الْكَبِيرُ الْمُتَعالِ‌

the Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Great, the Most High.

يَا مَنْ‌ يُسَبِّحُ الرَّعْدُ بِحَمْدِهِ ‌

O He for whom the thunder glorifies with His praise,

وَ الْمَلائِكَةُ مِنْ خِيفَتِهِ

and so do the angels out of fear of Him.

يَا مَنْ بِذِكْرِهِ‌ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ‌

O He by whose remembrance hearts find peace.

يَا مَنْ يَمْحُو ما يَشاءُ

O He who erases what He wills and establishes,

وَ يُثْبِتُ وَ عِنْدَهُ أُمُّ الْكِتابِ‌

and with Him is the Mother of the Book.

يَا مَنْ‌ لا مُعَقِّبَ لِحُكْمِهِ

O He against whose decree there is no appeal,

وَ هُوَ سَرِيعُ الْحِسابِ‌

and He is quick in account.

يَا مَنْ يَعْلَمُ مَا نُخْفِي وَ مَا نُعْلِنُ‌

O He who knows what we conceal and what we reveal,

وَ ما يَخْفى‌ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ شَيْ‌ءٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَ لا فِي السَّماءِ

and nothing is hidden from Allah on earth or in heaven.

يَا مَنْ جَعَلَ فِي السَّمَاءِ بُرُوجاً

O He who made constellations in the sky

وَ زَيَّنَهَا لِلنَّاظِرِينَ

and adorned it for beholders.

يَا مَنْ خَلَقَ الْإِنْسَانَ‌ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ

O He who created man from a drop of semen,

فَإِذا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُبِينٌ‌

then suddenly he is a clear adversary.

يَا مَنْ‌ جَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ وَ النَّهارَ خِلْفَةً

O He who made the night and the day follow each other

لِمَنْ أَرادَ أَنْ يَذَّكَّرَ أَوْ أَرادَ شُكُوراً

for whoever wants to remember or wants to give thanks.

يَا مَنْ يَسْجُدُ لَهُ‌ ما فِي السَّماواتِ وَ ما فِي الْأَرْضِ

O He to whom everything in the heavens and the earth prostrates,

مِنْ دابَّةٍ وَ الْمَلائِكَةُ وَ هُمْ لا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ‌

including every creature and the angels, and they do not become proud.

يَا مَنْ‌ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَ الْإِحْسانِ

O He who commands justice, good conduct,

وَ إِيتاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبى‌ وَ يَنْهى‌ عَنِ‌ السُّوءِ

and giving to relatives, and forbids evil

وَ الْفَحْشاءِ وَ الْمُنْكَرِ وَ الْبَغْيِ‌

And immorality, bad conduct, and oppression.

يَا مَنْ هُوَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ اتَّقَوْا

O He who is with those who fear Him

وَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ مُحْسِنُونَ‌

and those who are doers of good.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِمَا نَاجَيْتُكَ بِهِ مِنْ مِدْحَتِكَ فِي يَوْمِي هَذَا

O Allah, I ask You by what I have whispered to You of Your praise today,

وَ فِيمَا قَبْلَهُ وَ فِيمَا بَعْدَهُ بِمَا لَوْ عَلِمْتُهُ لَسَأَلْتُكَ بِهِ

yesterday, and in the days to come, with what I would have asked You by

مِنْ أَسْمَائِكَ الْعِظَامِ ارْزُقْنِي خَوْفَ الْعَامِلِينَ

from Your greatest names had I known them, to grant me the fear of those who work,

وَ عَمَلَ الْخَائِفِينَ وَ خُشُوعَ الْعَابِدِينَ

the deeds of those who fear, the humility of those who worship,

وَ عِبَادَةَ الْخَاشِعِينَ وَ يَقِينَ الْمُتَوَكِّلِينَ

the worship of those who are humble, the certainty of those who rely on You,

وَ تَوَكُّلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ إِنَابَةَ الْمُخْبِتِينَ

the reliance of the believers, the repentance of those who turn back to You,

وَ سَائِرَ مَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادُكَ الصَّالِحُونَ

and everything Your righteous servants asked of You,

وَ مَا أَعْطَيْتَهُ النَّبِيِّينَ وَ الْأَئِمَّةَ الطَّاهِرِينَ وَ الْمَلَائِكَةَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ

what You granted Your prophets, the pure Imams, and the close angels.

وَ أَصْلِحْ لِي نَفْسِيَ الْقَاسِيَةَ وَ قَلْبِيَ الْفَاسِدَ

Rectify for me my hardened soul, my corrupt heart,

وَ عَقْلِيَ النَّاقِصَ وَ فُكَّ عُنُقِي مِنَ النَّارِ

my deficient intellect, and liberate my neck from the fire.

وَ ارْزُقْنِي الْجَنَّةَ وَ الْأَمْنَ فِي الدُّنْ يَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ

Grant me Paradise, safety in this world and the Hereafter,

وَ أَغْنِنِي عَنْ خَلْقِكَ كُلِّهِمْ بِفَضْلِكَ

and enrich me from Your bounty so that I do not need anyone else.

يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

O Most Merciful of the Merciful,

وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ وَ سَلَّمَ.

and may peace and blessings be upon our master Muhammad and his pure family.
