اللَّهُمَّ يَا وَاهِبَ الْخَيْرَاتِ هَبْ لِي شَوْقاً إِلَى لِقَائِكَ

O Allah, O Giver of all good things, grant me a longing to meet You,

وَ خَوْفاً مِنْ عَذَابِكَ وَ حُبّاً لَكَ

fear of Your punishment, love for You,

وَ إِجْلَالًا لِذِكْرِكَ وَ تَوْفِيقاً لِوَجْهِكَ

reverence for Your remembrance, and success in seeking Your face.

إِلَهِي مَا كَانَ مِنْ أَمْرٍ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى طَاعَتِكَ وَ أَبْعَدُ مِنْ مَعْصِيَتِكَ

My God, whatever is closer to Your obedience, farther from Your disobedience,

وَ أَرْضَى لِنَفْسِكَ وَ أَقْضَى لِحَقِّكَ

more pleasing to You, more fulfilling of Your rights,

وَ أَوْفَى بِعَهْدِكَ وَ أَبْلَغُ لِمَحَبَّتِكَ

more faithful to Your covenant, closer to Your love,

وَ أَقْرَبُ لِلْخُلُودِ فِي جَنَّتِكَ وَ خَيْرٌ فِي الْمَعَادِ إِلَيْكَ

closer to eternity in Your Paradise, better in return to You,

وَ آمَنُ لِي مِنْ فَزَعِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ

and safer for me from the terror of the Day of Resurrection,

فَافْتَحْهُ لِي بِيُسْرٍ مِنْكَ وَ أَعِنِّي عَلَيْهِ

make it easy for me by Your grace, help me upon it,

وَ ادْلُلْنِي إِلَيْهِ وَ وَفِّقْنِي لَهُ وَ

guide me to it, grant me success for it,

خُذْ بِنَاصِيَتِي وَ يَدِي وَ قَلْبِي إِلَيْهِ

and take my forelock, hand, and heart to it.

اللَّهُمَّ وَ هَذَا يَوْمُ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَهْرِكَ الْمُشَرَّفِ الْمُعَظَّمِ الْمُكَرَّمِ

O Allah, this is the middle day of Your honored, great, esteemed month,

فَخُصَّ نَبِيَّنَا مُحَمَّداً صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ

so specially honor our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah's blessings be upon him and his family,

بِكَرَامَةِ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ أَعْتِقْنِي فِيهِ مِنَ النَّارِ

with the honors of this world and the hereafter, and free me from the Fire.

وَ أَعْطِ نَفْسِي تَقْوَاهَا فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ مَا يُرْضِيكَ عَنِّي

Grant my soul its piety every day that pleases You,

وَ أَعْطِ مُحَمَّداً وَ آلَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ

and grant Muhammad and his family, May Allah bless him and his family

وَ شِيعَتَهُمْ وَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ

his followers, and all Muslim men and women,

خَيْرَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ

the best of this world and the hereafter.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَ ارْحَمْنِي وَ تُبْ عَلَيَّ

O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, turn to me,

وَ اقْبَلْهُ مِنِّي وَ اعْصِمْنِي وَ فُكَّنِي فِيهِ مِنْ عَظِيمِ الْأَوْزَارِ وَ سَيِّئَاتِ الْأَعْمَالِ

accept it from me, protect me, and release me from great burdens and bad deeds on this day.

وَ وَسِّعْ عَلَيَّ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَ جَمِّلْنِي وَ زَيِّنِّي وَ حَسِّنِّي

Expand upon me from Your grace, beautify me, adorn me, improve me,

وَ أَصْلِحْ كُلَّ فَاسِدٍ مِنِّي وَ صَلِّ عَلَى مَلَائِكَتِكَ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ وَ أَنْبِيَائِكَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ

correct everything corrupt in me, and send blessings upon Your close angels and Your sent prophets.

وَ اغْفِرْ لِي وَ لِوَالِدَيَّ وَ وُلْدِي وَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ عِبَادِكَ الصَّالِحِينَ

Forgive me, my parents, my children, and all the righteous servants,

وَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَ الْمُسْلِمَاتِ الْأَحْيَاءِ مِنْهُمْ وَ الْأَمْوَاتِ

Muslims, male and female, alive and deceased among Your creation.

وَ اخْتِمْ لَنَا فِي هَذَا الْيَوْمِ بِمَا خَتَمْتَ بِهِ لِأَهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ

Conclude for us this day with what You conclude for the people of Your obedience,

وَ أَنْبِيَائِكَ وَ رُسُلِكَ وَ خِيَارِ خَلْقِكَ

Your prophets, Your messengers, and the best of Your creation.

وَ نَجِّنَا مِنَ النَّارِ بِعَفْوِكَ [وَ رَأْفَتِكَ‌]

Save us from the Fire with Your pardon, Your kindness,

وَ رَحْمَتِكَ الَّتِي‌ وَسِعَتْ كُلَّ شَيْ‌ءٍ

and Your mercy that encompasses everything.

وَ ارْزُقْنِي حَوَائِجَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ

Provide me the needs of this world and the hereafter,

وَ الْأَمْنَ وَ الْعَافِيَةَ وَ الْغِنَى وَ الْمَغْفِرَةَ

security, well-being, wealth, and forgiveness.

وَ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِي وَ اجْعَلْنِي كَمَا تُحِبُّ وَ تَرْضَى

Rectify my religion, make me as You love and are pleased,

وَ خَلِّصْنِي مِنْ مَظَالِمِ الدُّنْيَا وَ أَهْلِهَا

free me from the wrongs of this world and its people.

إِنَّكَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Indeed, You are capable of all things,

وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ‌ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ.

and may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his pure family.
