اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ وَ أَرْغَبُ إِلَيْكَ أَنْ تَرْزُقَنِي الثَّبَاتَ عَلَى دِينِكَ

O Allah, I ask You and earnestly seek from You to grant me steadfastness on Your religion,

الَّذِي ارْتَضَيْتَهُ وَ تُبَصِّرَنِي فِيهِ

which You have chosen, to enlighten me in it,

وَ تُوَفِّقَنِي لَهُ وَ تَأْخُذَ بِقَلْبِي إِلَيْهِ

to grant me success for it, to take my heart towards it,

وَ تَعَدَّانِي عَمَّا سِوَاهُ وَ تَعْصِمَنِي عِصْمَةَ الْأَبْرَارِ

to divert me from anything else, to protect me with the protection of the righteous,

وَ تَجْعَلَنِي مِنَ الْمُصَدِّقِينَ بِكِتَابِكَ الْمُتَمَسِّكِينَ بِسُنَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ

and to make me among those who affirm Your Book and adhere to the Sunnah of Your Prophet

مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ

Muhammad and his pure family, may Allah's blessings be upon him and them all.

اللَّهُمَّ لَا تَخْذُلْنِي أَبَداً وَ لَا تُشْمِتْ بِي عَدُوّاً وَ لَا حَاسِداً

O Allah, never forsake me, do not let any enemy or envier gloat over me,

وَ لَا تَنْزِعْ مِنِّي صَالِحاً أَعْطَيْتَنِي

do not take away any good You have given me,

وَ افْتَحْ مَسَامِعَ قَلْبِي لِذِكْرِكَ

open the ears of my heart to Your remembrance,

وَ اجْعَلْنِي أُومِنُ بِوَعْدِكَ وَ أُوفِي بِعَهْدِكَ

make me believe in Your promise, fulfill Your covenant,

وَ أَسْأَلُكَ يَا رَبِّ قَبُولَهُ وَ الْوَفَاءَ بِهِ

and I ask You, my Lord, for its acceptance and fulfillment.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بَرَكَتَهُ وَ يُمْنَهُ وَ خَوَاتِيمَ الْخَيْرِ فِيهِ

O Allah, I ask You for its blessing, prosperity, and good endings within it,

وَ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَهَبَ [تهيئ‌] لِي مِنْ أَمْرِي يُسْراً وَ رُشْداً وَ مِرْفَقاً

and I ask You to prepare for me ease, guidance, and comfort in my affairs,

وَ أَنْ تَهْدِيَنِي‌ لِلَّتِي هِيَ أَقْوَمُ‌ وَ خَيْرٌ ثَواباً

and to guide me to that which is most correct, better in reward,

وَ خَيْرٌ عُقْباً وَ خَيْرٌ مَرَدًّا وَ خَيْرٌ أَمَلًا وَ خَيْرٌ آجِلًا وَ خَيْرٌ عَاجِلًا

outcome, return, hope, in the immediate and the distant future,

وَ أَنْ تَخْتِمَ لِي بِالْخَيْرِ وَ تَرْزُقَنِي رِضَاكَ وَ الْجَنَّةَ

and to end my life with good, grant me Your satisfaction and Paradise,

وَ تُعِيذَنِي مِنْ سَخَطِكَ وَ النَّارِ

protect me from Your displeasure and the Fire,

وَ تُعْطِيَنِي حَوَائِجَ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ

and grant me the needs of this world and the hereafter,

وَ الْأَمْنَ وَ الْعَافِيَةَ وَ الْغِنَى وَ الْمَغْفِرَةَ

security, well-being, wealth, and forgiveness.

إِنَّكَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Indeed, You are capable of all things.

وَ أَنَا إِلَى ذَلِكَ يَا رَبِّ فَقِيرٌ وَ هُوَ عَلَيْكَ حَقِيرٌ

And I am in need of that, O my Lord, while it is trivial for You

وَ عِنْدَكَ نَزْرٌ يَسِيرٌ فَتَفَضَّلْ عَلَيَّ بِهِ

and a small thing in Your presence, so bestow it upon me,

يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

O Most Merciful of the merciful.

وَ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ

There is no power or strength except through Allah, the High, the Great.

عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَ بِهِ أَسْتَعِينُ وَ هُوَ ثِقَتِي وَ نِعْمَ الْمُعِينُ

In Him, I trust, and He is my support, the best Helper.

وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ الطَّاهِرِينَ.

And may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad and his pure family.
