يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ سُئِلَ وَ يَا أَوْسَعَ مَنْ أَعْطَى
O the Best of those asked! O the Most Benevolent who bestows more than all who bestow!
وَ يَا خَيْرَ مُرْتَجًى
O the best hope!
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny
وَ أَوْسِعْ عَلَيَّ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ وَ افْتَحْ لِي بَابَ رِزْقٍ مِنْ عِنْدِكَ
and extend my means of livelihood out of Your Nobility. Please open the path to my sustenance from You
إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
as You have power over all things
وَ تَقَبَّلْ صَوْمِي وَ تَفَضَّلْ عَلَيَّ
Please accept my fasting and praying and favor me
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَ مَا أَنْزَلْتَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ وَ الْبَرَكَاتِ
O Lord of the month of Ramadhan, and whatever of the Quran and blessings You sent down during it
أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny
وَ أَنْ تَرْزُقَنِي حُبَّ الصَّلَاةِ وَ الصِّيَامِ وَ الْحَجِّ وَ الْعُمْرَةِ وَ صِلَةِ الرَّحِمِ
and bless me with the love for prayer, fasting, Hajj, Umrah and visiting my relatives
وَ تُحَبِّبَ إِلَيَّ كُلَّ مَا أَحْبَبْتَ وَ تُبَغِّضَ إِلَيَّ كُلَّ مَا أَبْغَضْتَ
loving what You Love and despising what You dislike
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ تَكَفَّلْتَ بِرِزْقِي وَ رِزْقِ كُلِّ دَابَّةٍ
O my God! You have guaranteed my sustenance and that of all animals
يَا خَيْرَ مَدْعُوٍّ وَ يَا خَيْرَ مَسْئُولٍ وَ يَا خَيْرَ مُرْتَجًى وَ أَوْسَعَ مَنْ أَعْطَى
O the best one who is called! O the Best one who is asked! O the best hope! O the Most Benevolent who bestows more than all who bestow!
مُحَمَّدٍ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ
Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny
وَ ارْزُقْنِي السَّعَةَ وَ الدَّعَةَ وَ السَّعَادَةَ فِي هَذَا الشَّهْرِ الْعَظِيمِ
and bless me with abundance, kindness and prosperity in this grand month
يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ
O the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful
يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ سُئِلَ وَ يَا أَوْسَعَ مَنْ أَعْطَى
O the Best of those asked! O the Most Benevolent who bestows more than all who bestow!
وَ يَا خَيْرَ مُرْتَجًى
O the best hope!
صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
