ِلَهِي مَا عَمِلْتُ مِنْ حَسَنَةٍ فَلَا حَمْدَ لِي فِيهِإ

O my God! There is no praise for me in any good deeds I have done

وَ مَا ارْتَكَبْتُ مِنْ سُوءٍ فَلَا عُذْرَ لِي فِيهِ

and I have no excuse for any bad deeds I have done

إِلَهِي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَتَّكِلُ عَلَى مَا لَا حَمْدَ لِي فِيهِ أَوْ أَرْتَكِبَ مَا لَا عُذْرَ لِي فِيهِ

O my God! I take refuge in You from relying upon what there is no praise for me or doing what there is no excuse for me to do

يَا إِلَهِي أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ مِمَّا تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ عُدْتُ فِيهِ

O my God! I ask You to forgive me for what I repented to You and then returned to

وَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ مِمَّا وَعَدْتُكَ مِنْ نَفْسِي ثُمَّ أَخْلَفْتُكَ فِيهِ

I ask You to forgive me for all the promises I made but then I broke them

وَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ مِمَّا أَرَدْتُ بِهِ وَجْهَكَ الْكَرِيمَ فَخَالَطَنِي مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ رِضًا

I ask You to forgive what I decided to do for the sake of Your Benevolent Face, but then my intentions were mixed with things that did not please You

وَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِكُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ أَنْعَمْتَ بِهَا عَلَيَّ فَقَوِيتُ بِهَا عَلَى مَعَاصِيكَ

I ask You to forgive me for all the blessings that You bestowed on me but I used them to insist on doing acts of Your Disobedience

وَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِكُلِّ ذَنْبٍ أَذْنَبْتُهُ وَ لِكُلِّ خَطِيئَةٍ ارْتَكَبْتُهَا وَ لِكُلِّ سُوءٍ أَتَيْتُهُ

I ask You to forgive every sin I committed, and every offense I made and every bad deed that I performed

يَا إِلَهِي وَ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O my God! I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny

وَ تَهَبَ لِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ كُلَّ ذَنْبٍ فِيمَا بَيْنِي وَ بَيْنَكَ

and bestow Mercy upon me regarding all the sins that are between me and You

وَ أَنْ تَسْتَوْهِبَنِي مِنْ خَلْقِكَ وَ تَسْتَنْقِذَنِي مِنْهُمْ

have the people forgive me and relieve me from them

وَ لَا تَجْعَلَ حَسَنَاتِي فِي مَوَازِينِ مَنْ ظَلَمْتَهُ وَ أَسَأْتَ إِلَيْهِ فَإِنَّكَ عَلَى ذَلِكَ قَادِرٌ يَا عَزِيزُ

. Please do not let my good deeds be considered for those whom I oppressed, and did wrong to since indeed You are able to do so. O Exalted in Might!

وَ كُلُّ ذَنْبٍ أَنَا عَلَيْهِ مُقِيمٌ فَانْقُلْنِي عَنْهُ إِلَى طَاعَتِكَ يَا إِلَهِي

O my God! Please change all my sins into Your Obedience

وَ كُلُّ ذَنْبٍ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَعْمَلَهُ فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي

Please prevent me from me all the sins that I decide to do

وَ رُدَّنِي إِلَى طَاعَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

and return me to Your Obedience. O the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الَّتِي لَيْسَ فَوْقَهَا شَيْ‌ءٌ

O my God! I ask You by Your Names above which there is nothing.

يَا اللَّهُ الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ الَّذِي لَا يَعْلَمُ كُنْهَ مَا هُوَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ

O God! Most Compassionate, Most Merciful – whose depth no one but You knows

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny

وَ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي مَا سَلَفَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِي وَ تَعْصِمَنِي فِيمَا بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمُرِي

and forgive me all my past sins and please protect me for the rest of my lifetime

وَ تُعْطِيَنِي جَمِيعَ سُؤْلِي فِي [من‌] دِينِي وَ دُنْيَايَ وَ آخِرَتِي وَ مَثْوَايَ

and please grant me all my requests regarding my religion, my world, my afterlife and my present life

يَا أَرْحَمَ‌ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

O the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful
