يَا سَيِّدَاهُ وَيَا رَبَّاهُ

“O‟ my Master! O‟ Nourisher!

وَيَا ذَا الْجَلاَلَ وَالإِكْرَامِ

O‟ Lord of Majesty, Bounty and Honor!

يَا ذَا الْعَرْشِ الَّذِي لاَ يَنَامُ

O Lord of the Throne who does not sleep!

وَيَا ذَا الْعِزِّ الَّذِي لاَ يُرَامُ

O‟ Lord of Exaltedness that does not collapse!

يَا قَاضِي الأُمُورِ

O‟ Fulfiller of the affairs!

يَا شَافِيَ الصُّدُورِ

O‟ He who heals the hearts!

اجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ أَمْرِي فَرَجاً وَمَخْرَجاً

Please provide an easy way out of my affairs

وَاقْذِفْ رَجَاءَكَ فِي قَلْبِي

and put Your Hope into my heart

حَتّى لاَ أَرْجُوَ أَحَداً سِوَاكَ عَلَيْكَ

so that I turn to no one but You.

سَيِّدِي تَوَكَّلْتُ وِإِلَيْكَ مَوْلاَيَ أَنَبْتُ فَارْحَمْنِي

O‟ my Master! I rely upon You. O‟ my Guardian! To You do I turn in repentance

وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ

And to You is our Final Goal.

أَسْأَلُكَ يَا إِلهَ الآلِهَةِ

I ask You. O‟ Lord of the lords!

وَيَا جَبَّارَ الْجَبَابِرَةِ

O' Compeller of the compellers!

وَيَا كَبِيرَ الأَكَابِرِ (الَّذي من توكلَ عليه كفاهُ)

O‟ Greatest of the great ones!

وَكَانَ حَسْبَهُ وَبَالِغَ أَمْرِهِ عَلَيْكَ

O‟ He who suffices whoever relies upon Him! God suffices for him and He shall take care of his affairs.

تَوَكَّلْتُ فَاكْفِنِي

In You I have placed my trust, so please suffice for me

وِإِلَيْكَ أَنْبَتُ فَارْحَمْنِي وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ

and to You do I turn in repentance. So please have mercy on me And to You is our Final Goal

فَاغْفِرْ لِي وَ لَا تُسَوِّدْ وَجْهِي يَوْمَ تَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌ وَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌ‌

so please forgive me and please do not blacken my face on the day on which some faces will be blackened and some will be whitened

إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ‌

for indeed You are Exalted in Might – All-Wise

وَ صَلِّ اللَّهُمَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

O‟ my God! Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny

وَ ارْحَمْنِي وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنِّي

Please have Mercy on me and overlook my faults

إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ.

as You are All-Forgiving, Merciful!
