اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّد

O' Allāh send Your blessings on Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the Name of Allāh, the All-merciful, the All-compassionate

اَللَّهُمَّ هذِا شَهْرُكَ الَّذِي أَمَرْتَ فِيهِ عِبَادَكَ بِالدُّعَاءِ

O‟ my God! This is the month in which You have ordered Your Servants to pray

وَضَمِنْتَ لَهُمُ الإِجَابَةَ وَالرَّحْمَةَ

and You have guaranteed fulfillment for them.

وَقُلْتَ ﴿وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِي عَنِّي فَإِنِّي قَرِيبٌ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِي إِذَا دَعَانِي﴾ فَأَدْعُوكَ يَا مُجِيبَ دَعْوَةِ الْمُضْطَرِّينَ

You have said, „When My servants ask You concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me:.

وَيَا كَاشِفَ السُّوءِ عَنِ الْمَكْرُوبِينَ

.‟ O‟ the Responder of the cries of the distressed!

وَيَا جَاعِلَ اللَّيْلِ سَكَناً

O‟ He who made the night for rest.

وَيَا مَنْ لاَ يَمُوتُ اغْفِرْ لِمَنْ يَمُوتُ

O‟ He who shall not perish! Please forgive one who shall perish.

قَدَّرْتَ وَخَلَقْتَ وَسَوَّيْتَ

You destined, created and formed.

فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَطْعَمْتَ وَسَقَيْتَ وَآوَيْتَ وَرَزَقْتَ

So all Praise belongs to You. You gave me food, drinks and satiated me with provision of sustenance.

فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَأَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

So all Praise belongs to You. I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny

فِي اللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغَشى

at night when it gets dark

وَفِي النَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلّى

, in the day when it gets light,

وَفِي الآخِرَةِ وَالأُولَى

and in the afterlife and the first life.

وَأَنْ تَكْفِينِي مَا أَهَمَّنِي وَتَغْفِرَ لِي

Please take care of my affairs and forgive me

إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ.

as You are All-Forgiving, Merciful!‟ ”
