اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ

O‟ my God! You are Exalted in Might, All-Wise!

وَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ

“And You are All-Forgiving, Merciful!

وَ أَنْتَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

nd You are the Sublime, the Supreme!

لَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْداً يَبْقَى وَ لَا يَفْنَى

A Praise belongs to You. Praise that is lasting and does not diminish.

وَ لَكَ الشُّكْرُ شُكْراً يَبْقَى وَ لَا يَفْنَى

Thanks belongs to You. Thanks that is lasting and does not diminish.

وَ أَنْتَ الْحَيُّ الْحَلِيمُ [الْحَكِيمُ‌] الْعَلِيمُ

And You are the Living, the Wise, the All-Knowing!

أَسْأَلُكَ بِنُورِ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ وَ بِجَلَالِكَ الَّذِي لَا يُرَامُ

I ask You by the Light of Your Face – the Benevolent.By Your Might that does not collapse!

وَ بِعِزَّتِكَ الَّتِي لَا تُقْهَرُ

By Your Might that cannot be subdued.

أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

I ask You to bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as);

وَ أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي وَ تَرْحَمَنِي

to forgive me and have Mercy on me

إِنَّكَ‌ أَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ‌

verily You are the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate!”
