صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

sadaqa allahu al`azimu

True are the words of Allah, the All-great.

[00:18.00]

ٱلَّذِي لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ

alladhi la ilaha illa huwa

There is no god save Him,

[00:21.00]

ٱلْحَيُّ ٱلْقَيُّومُ

alhayyu alqayyumu

the Ever-living, the Eternal,

[00:23.00]

ذُو ٱلْجَلالِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ

dhuljalali wal-ikrami

The Lord of Majesty and Honor,

[00:26.00]

ٱلرَّحْمٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

alrrahmanu alrrahimu

the All-beneficent, the All-merciful,

[00:29.00]

ٱلْحَلِيمُ ٱلْكَرِيمُ

alhalimu alkarimu

the Forbearing, the All-generous.

[00:32.00]

ٱلَّذِي لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ

alladhi laysa kamithlihi shay'un

There is nothing like Him,

[00:36.00]

وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ

wa huwa alssami`u al`alimu

and He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing,

[00:38.50]

ٱلْبَصِيرُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ

albasiru alkhabiru

the All-seeing, the All-aware.

[00:42.00]

شَهِدَ ٱللَّهُ انَّهُ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ

shahida allahu annahu la ilaha illa huwa

Allah bears witness that there is no god but He,

[00:47.00]

وَٱلْمَلائِكَةُ وَاوْلُو ٱلْعِلْمِ

walmala'ikatu wa ulu al`ilmi

and (so do) the angels and those possessed of knowledge,

[00:50.00]

قَائِماً بِٱلْقِسْطِ

qa'iman bilqisti

maintaining His creation with justice.

[00:52.00]

لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ

la ilaha illa huwa al`azizu alhakimu

There is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise.

[00:58.00]

وَبَلَّغَتْ رُسُلُهُ ٱلْكِرَامُ

wa ballaghat rusuluhu alkiramu

His noble Messengers have conveyed the mission

[01:01.00]

وَانَا عَلَىٰ ذٰلِكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّاهِدِينَ

wa ana `ala dhalika min alshshahidina

and I am of those who bear witness to that.

[01:06.00]

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ ٱلْحَمْدُ

allahumma laka alhamdu

O Allah, to You belongs praise,

[01:08.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلْمَجْدُ

wa laka almajdu

to You belongs glory,

[01:10.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلْعِزُّ

wa laka al`izzu

to You belongs might,

[01:11.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلْفَخْرُ

wa laka alfakhru

to You belongs pride,

[01:13.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلْقَهْرُ

wa laka alqahru

to You belongs supreme power,

[01:15.00]

ولَكَ ٱلنِّعْمَةُ

wlaka alnni`matu

to You belong bounties,

[01:17.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلْعَظَمَةُ

wa laka al`azamatu

to You belongs greatness,

[01:19.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلرَّحْمَةُ

wa laka alrrahmatu

to You belongs mercy,

[01:20.50]

وَلَكَ ٱلْمَهَابَةُ

wa laka almahabatu

to You belongs reverence,

[01:23.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلسُّلْطَانُ

wa laka alssultanu

to You belongs sovereignty,

[01:26.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلْبَهَاءُ

wa laka albaha'u

to You belongs beauty,

[01:28.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلاِمْتِنَانُ

wa laka al-imtinanu

to You belongs benevolence,

[01:30.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلتَّسْبِيحُ

wa laka alttasbihu

to You belongs glorification,

[01:32.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلتَّقْدِيسُ

wa laka alttaqdisu

to You belongs holiness,

[01:35.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلتَّهْلِيلُ

wa laka alttahlilu

to You belongs the confession of Your being the One and Only God,

[01:37.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلتَّكْبِيرُ

wa laka alttakbiru

to You belongs the confession of Your being the most Great Lord,

[01:39.00]

وَلَكَ مَا يُرَىٰ

wa laka ma yura

to You belongs that which is seen,

[01:42.00]

وَلَكَ مَا لاَ يُرَىٰ

wa laka ma la yura

to You belongs that which is not seen,

[01:45.00]

وَلَكَ مَا فَوْقَ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ ٱلْعُلَىٰ

wa laka ma fawqa alssamawati al`ula

to You belongs that which is far above the high heavens,

[01:50.00]

وَلَكَ مَا تَحْتَ ٱلثَّرَىٰ

wa laka ma tahta alththara

to You belongs that which is deep down under the abyss,

[01:54.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلارَضُونَ ٱلسُّفْلَىٰ

wa laka al-araduna alssufla

to You belong the worlds below the heavens,

[01:57.00]

وَلَكَ ٱلآخِرَةُ وَٱلاولَىٰ

wa laka al-akhiratu wal-ula

to You belong the end and the beginning,

[02:00.00]

وَلَكَ مَا تَرْضَىٰ بِهِ مِنَ ٱلثَّنَاءِ وَٱلْحَمْدِ

wa laka ma tarda bihi min alththana'i walhamdi

and to You is all thanks, all praise,

[02:06.00]

وَٱلشُّكْرِ وَٱلنَّعْمَاءِ

walshshukri walnni`ma'i

all gratitude, and all bliss as much as it pleases You.

[02:09.00]

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ جَبْرَئِيلَ

allahumma salli `ala jabra'ila

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to (Archangel) Gabriel,

[02:12.00]

امِينِكَ عَلَىٰ وَحْيِكَ

aminika `ala wahyika

the trustee on Your revelations,

[02:15.00]

وَٱلْقَوِيِّ عَلَىٰ امْرِكَ

walqawiyyi `ala amrika

the firm in conveying Your orders,

[02:18.00]

وَٱلْمُطَاعِ فِي سَمَاوَاتِكَ وَمَحَالِّ كَرَامَاتِكَ

walmuta`i fi samawatika wa mahalli karamatika

the obeyed in Your heavens and the places where Your honoring lies,

[02:25.00]

ٱلْمُتَحَمِّلِ لِكَلِمَاتِكَ

almutahammili likalimatika

the bearer of Your Words,

[02:29.00]

ٱلنَّاصِرِ لانْبِيَائِكَ

alnnasiri li-anbiya'ika

the supporter of Your Prophets,

[02:32.00]

ٱلْمُدَمِّرِ لاعْدَائِكَ

almudammiri li-a`da'ika

and the terminator of Your enemies.

[02:36.00]

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مِيكَائِيلَ

allahumma salli `ala mika'ila

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to (Archangel) Michael,

[02:39.00]

مَلَكِ رَحْمَتِكَ

malaki rahmatika

the angel of Your mercy,

[02:42.00]

وَٱلْمَخْلُوقِ لِرَافَتِكَ

walmakhluqi lira'fatika

the one created for (showing) Your kindness,

[02:45.00]

وَٱلْمُسْتَغْفِرِ ٱلْمُعِينِ لاهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ

walmustaghfiri almu`ini li-ahli ta`atika

and the one seeking forgiveness and assisting the people of obedience to You.

[02:51.00]

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ إِسْرَافِيلَ

allahumma salli `ala israfila

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Seraph,

[02:54.00]

حَامِلِ عَرْشِكَ

hamili `arshika

the bearer of Your Throne,

[02:57.00]

وَصَاحِبِ ٱلصُّوْرِ

wa sahibi alssuri

the one in charge of the Trumpet (that declares the Resurrection Day),

[02:59.00]

ٱلْمُنْتَظِرِ لامْرِكَ

almuntaziri li-amrika

the one waiting for Your order,

[03:01.00]

ٱلْوَجِلِ ٱلْمُشْفِقِ مِنْ خِيفَتِكَ

alwajili almushfiqi min khifatika

and the one apprehensive and fearful of You.

[03:06.00]

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ حَمَلَةِ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ

allahumma salli `ala hamalati al`arshi alttahirina

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to the pure angels who bear Your Throne,

[03:11.00]

وَعَلَىٰ ٱلسَّفَرَةِ ٱلْكِرَامِ

wa `ala alssafarati alkirami

upon the scribes; the noble,

[03:14.00]

ٱلْبَرَرَةِ ٱلطَّيِّبِينَ

albararati alttayyibina

the virtuous, and the immaculate,

[03:17.00]

وَعَلَىٰ مَلائِكَتِكَ ٱلْكِرَامِ ٱلْكَاتِبِينَ

wa `ala mala'ikatika alkirami alkatibina

upon Your angels; the virtuous recorders (of the deeds),

[03:22.00]

وَعَلَىٰ مَلائِكَةِ ٱلْجِنَانِ

wa `ala mala'ikati aljinani

upon the angels of the gardens of Paradise,

[03:26.00]

وَخَزَنَةِ ٱلنِّيرَانِ

wa khazanati alnnirani

upon the keepers of Hellfire,

[03:28.00]

وَمَلَكِ ٱلْمَوْتِ وَٱلاعْوَانِ

wa malaki almawti wal-a`wani

and upon the Angel of Death and his assistants.

[03:32.00]

يَا ذَا ٱلْجَلاَلِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ

ya dhaljalali wal-ikrami

O Lord of Majesty and Honor!

[03:37.00]

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ ابِينَا آدَمَ

allahumma salli `ala abina adama

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to our father Adam:

[03:40.50]

بَدِيعِ فِطْرَتِكَ

badi`i fitratika

the foremost of Your creation

[03:43.00]

ٱلَّذِي كَرَّمْتَهُ بِسُجُودِ مَلائِكَتِكَ

alladhi karramtahu bisujudi mala'ikatika

whom You honored by making Your angels prostrate themselves before him,

[03:47.00]

وَابَحْتَهُ جَنَّتَكَ

wa abahtahu janntaka

and whom You allowed to dwell in Your Paradise.

[03:51.00]

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ امِّنَا حَوَّاءَ

allahumma salli `ala ummina hawwa'a

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to our mother Eve:

[03:55.00]

ٱلْمُطَهَّرَةِ مِنَ ٱلرِّجْسِ

almutahharati min alrrijsi

the purified from filth,

[03:58.00]

ٱلْمُصَفَّاةِ مِنَ ٱلدَّنَسِ

almusaffati min alddanasi

the cleaned from dirt,

[04:01.00]

ٱلْمُفَضَّلَةِ مِنَ ٱلإِنْسِ

almufaddalati min al-insi

the favorite from among the humankind,

[04:04.00]

ٱلْمُتَرَدِّدَةِ بَيْنَ مَحَالِّ ٱلْقُدْسِ

almutaraddidati bayna mahalli alqudsi

and the allowed to visit the places of sanctity.

[04:08.00]

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ هَابِيلَ وَشَيْثٍ

allahumma salli `ala habila wa shaythin

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Abel, Shayth,

[04:12.00]

وَإِدْرِيسَ وَنُوحٍ

wa idrisa wa nuhin

Idris, Noah,

[04:14.00]

وَهُودٍ وَصَالِحٍ

wa hudin wa salihin

Hud, Salih,

[04:16.50]

وَإِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ

wa ibrahima wa isma`ila

Abraham, Ishmael,

[04:20.00]

وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ

wa ishaqa wa ya`quba

Isaac, Jacob,

[04:22.00]

وَيُوسُفَ وَٱلاسْبَاطِ

wa yusufa wal-asbati

Joseph, the Tribes,

[04:25.00]

وَلُوطٍ وَشُعَيْبٍ

wa lutin wa shu`aybin

Lot, Shu`ayb,

[04:27.00]

وَايُّوْبَ وَمُوسَىٰ

wa ayyuba wa musa

Job, Moses,

[04:29.00]

وَهَارُونَ وَيُوشَعَ

wa haruna wa yusha`a

Aaron, Joshua,

[04:31.00]

وَمِيشَا وَٱلْخِضْرِ

wa misha walkhidri

Micah, al-Khidr,

[04:33.00]

وَذِي ٱلْقَرْنَيْنِ وَيُونُسَ

wa dhi alqarnayni wa yunusa

Dhu’l-Qarnayn (the two-horned), Jonah,

[04:36.00]

وَإِلْيَاسَ وَٱلْيَسَعَ

wa ilyasa walyasa`a

Elias, Elisa,

[04:38.00]

وَذِي ٱلْكِفْلِ وَطَالُوتَ

wa dhi alkifli wa taluta

Dhu’l-Kifl, Saul,

[04:41.00]

وَدَاوُودَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ

wa dawuda wa sulaymana

David, Solomon,

[04:44.00]

وَزَكَرِيَّا وَشَعْيَا

wa zakariyya wa sha`ya

Zachariah, Shayah,

[04:46.00]

وَيَحْيَىٰ وَتُورَخَ

wa yahya wa turakha

John, Turakh,

[04:48.00]

وَمَتَّىٰ وَإِرْمِيَا

wa matta wa irmiya

Matthias, Jeremiah,

[04:50.00]

وَحَيْقُوقَ وَدَانِيَالَ

wa hayquqa wa danyala

Habakkuk, Daniel,

[04:53.00]

وَعُزَيْرٍ وَعِيسَىٰ

wa `uzayrin wa `isa

Ezra, Jesus,

[04:55.00]

وَشَمْعُونَ وَجِرْجِيسَ

wa sham`una wa jirjisa

Simon, Georges,

[04:57.00]

وَٱلْحَوَارِيِّينَ وَٱلاتْبَاعِ

walhawariyyina wal-atba`i

the Apostles, the Followers,

[05:00.00]

وَخَالِدٍ وَحَنْظَلَةَ وَلُقْمَانَ

wa khalidin wa hanzalata wa luqmana

Khalid, Hanzalah, and Luqman.

[05:04.00]

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammadin

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

[05:09.00]

وَٱرْحَمْ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ

warham Muhammadan wa ala Muhammadin

have mercy upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

[05:13.00]

وَبَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

wa barik `ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammadin

and send benedictions upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

[05:17.00]

كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وَرَحِمْتَ وَبَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ

kama sallayta wa rahimta wa barakta `ala ibrahima wa ali ibrahima

just as You have sent blessings, had mercy, and sent benedictions upon Abraham and the Household of Abraham.

[05:26.00]

إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

innaka hamidun majidun

You are verily worthy of all praise, full of all glory.

[05:28.00]

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلاوْصِيَاءِ وَٱلسُّعَدَاءِ

allahumma salli `ala al-awsiya'i walssu`ada'i

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to the Successors, the happy,

[05:33.00]

وَٱلشُّهَدَاءِ وَائِمَّةِ ٱلْهُدَىٰ

walshshuhada'i wa a'immati alhuda

the witnesses, and the leaders to the true guidance.

[05:37.00]

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ ٱلابْدَالِ وَٱلاوْتَادِ

allahumma salli `ala al-abdali wal-awtadi

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to the Substitutes (whom shall be given the favor of participating in Imam al-Mahdi’s campaigns, the loftiest personalities <

[05:41.00]

وَٱلسُّيَّاحِ وَٱلْعُبَّادِ

walssuyyahi wal`ubbadi

those observing fasting with devotion, those who ardently serve You,

[05:44.00]

وَٱلْمُخْلِصِينَ وَٱلزُّهَّادِ

walmukhlisina walzzuhhadi

those whom You have chosen, the ascetic servants,

[05:47.00]

وَاهْلِ ٱلْجِدِّ وَٱلاِجْتِهَادِ

wa ahli aljiddi wal-ijtihadi

and the people of painstaking and hardworking deeds.

[05:51.00]

وَٱخْصُصْ مُحَمَّداً وَاهْلَ بَيْتِهِ بِافْضَلِ صَلَوَاتِكَ

wakhsus Muhammadan wa ahla baytihi bi-afdali salawatika

(Please do) give Muhammad and his Household exclusively the best of Your blessings

[05:58.00]

وَاجْزَلِ كَرَامَاتِكَ

wa ajzali karamatika

and the most abundant of Your favors.

[06:01.00]

وَبَلِّغْ رُوحَهُ وَجَسَدَهُ مِنِّي تَحِيَّةً وَسَلاماً

wa balligh ruhahu wa jasadahu minni tahiyyatan wa salaman

(Please do) convey to his soul and body my greetings and compliments

[06:08.00]

وَزِدْهُ فَضْلاً وَشَرَفاً وَكَرَماً

wa zid-hu fadlan wa sharafan wa karaman

and give him more favors, honor, and esteem

[06:12.00]

حَتَّىٰ تُبَلِّغَهُ اعْلَىٰ دَرَجَاتِ اهْلِ ٱلشَّرَفِ

hatta tuballighahu a`la darajati ahli alshsharafi

so that You will make him attain the most elevated ranks of the honored ones

[06:17.00]

مِنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّينَ وَٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ

min alnnabiyyina walmursalina

from amongst the Prophets, the Messengers,

[06:20.30]

وَٱلافَاضِلِ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ

wal-afadili almuqarrabina

and the virtuous, favorable ones.

[06:24.00]

اَللَّهُمَّ وَصَلِّ عَلَىٰ مَنْ سَمَّيْتُ وَمَنْ لَمْ اسَمِّ

allahumma wa salli `ala man sammaytu wa man lam usammi

O Allah, (please) send blessings to those whose names I have mentioned or I have not

[06:30.00]

مِنْ مَلائِكَتِكَ وَانْبِيَائِكَ

min mala'ikatika wa anbiya'ika

from amongst Your angels, Prophets,

[06:33.00]

وَرُسُلِكَ وَاهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ

wa rusulika wa ahli ta`atika

Messengers, and obedient servants.

[06:36.00]

وَاوْصِلْ صَلَوَاتِي إِلَيْهِمْ وَإِلَىٰ ارْوَاحِهِمْ

wa awsil salawati ilayhim wa ila arwahihim

Convey my invocations of blessings to them and to their souls

[06:41.00]

وَٱجْعَلْهُمْ إِخْوَانِي فِيكَ

waj`alhum ikhwani fika

and make them my brethren in You

[06:44.00]

وَاعْوَانِي عَلَىٰ دُعَائِكَ

wa a`wani `ala du`a'ika

and make them help me pray You.

[06:47.50]

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اسْتَشْفِعُ بِكَ إِلَيْكَ

allahumma inni astashfi`u bika ilayka

O Allah, I seek Your intercession for me to You,

[06:52.00]

وَبِكَرَمِكَ إِلَىٰ كَرَمِكَ

wa bikaramika ila karamika

I seek Your honor in the name of Your honor,

[06:55.00]

وَبِجُودِكَ إِلَىٰ جُودِكَ

wa bijudika ila judika

I seek Your magnanimity in the name of Your magnanimity,

[06:58.00]

وَبِرَحْمَتِكَ إِلَىٰ رَحْمَتِكَ

wa birahmatika ila rahmatika

and I seek Your mercy in the name of Your mercy

[07:01.00]

وَبِاهْلِ طَاعَتِكَ إِلَيْكَ

wa bi-ahli ta`atika ilayka

and in the name of the people of the obedience to You.

[07:04.00]

وَاسْالُكَ ٱللَّهُمَّ بِكُلِّ مَا سَالَكَ بِهِ احَدٌ مِنْهُمْ

wa as'aluka allahumma bikulli ma sa'alaka bihi ahadun minhum

I thus beseech You, O Allah, in the name of all the things by whose names those people have besought You,

[07:11.00]

مِنْ مَسْالَةٍ شَرِيفَةٍ غَيْرِ مَرْدُودَةٍ

min mas'alatin sharifatin ghayri mardudatin

including the honorable requests that are never rejected by You

[07:16.00]

وَبِمَا دَعَوْكَ بِهِ مِنْ دَعْوَةٍ مُجَابَةٍ غَيْرِ مُخَيِّبَةٍ

wa bima da`awka bihi min da`watin mujabatin ghayri mukhayyibatin

and all the responded and unfailing prayers that they have asked from You.

[07:23.00]

يَا اللَّهُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحِيمُ

ya allahu ya rahmanu ya rahimu

O Allah! O All-beneficent! O All-merciful!

[07:28.00]

يَا حَلِيمُ يَا كَرِيمُ يَا عَظِيمُ

ya halimu ya karimu ya `azimu

O All-forbearing! O All-generous! O All-great!

[07:32.00]

يَا جَلِيلُ يَا مُنِيلُ يَا جَمِيلُ

ya jalilu ya munilu ya jamilu

O All-majestic! O Bestower! O All-munificent!

[07:36.00]

يَا كَفِيلُ يَا وَكِيلُ يَا مُقِيلُ

ya kafilu ya wakilu ya muqilu

O Surety! O Dependable! O Rescuer!

[07:40.00]

يَا مُجِيرُ يَا خَبِيرُ

ya mujiru ya khabiru

O Protector! O All-aware!

[07:43.00]

يَا مُنِيرُ يَا مُبِيرُ

ya muniru ya mubiru

O All-luminous! O Eradicator (of the wrongdoers)!

[07:46.00]

يَا مَنِيعُ يَا مُدِيلُ يَا مُحِيلُ

ya mani`u ya mudilu ya muhilu

O Shielding! O Grantor of victory! O Assuring!

[07:51.00]

يَا كَبِيرُ يَا قَدِيرُ يَا بَصِيرُ

ya kabiru ya qadiru ya basiru

O All-big! O All-powerful! O All-seer!

[07:55.00]

يَا شَكُورُ يَا بَرُّ

ya shakuru ya barru

O most Ready to appreciate (servitude)! O All-benign!

[07:58.00]

يَا طُهْرُ يَا طَاهِرُ

ya tuhru ya tahiru

O Source of purity! O All-pure!

[08:00.00]

يَا قَاهِرُ يَا ظَاهِرُ

ya qahiru ya zahiru

O Omnipotent! O Evident!

[08:03.00]

يَا بَاطِنُ يَا سَاتِرُ

ya batinu ya satiru

O Immanent! O Concealer!

[08:06.00]

يَا مُحِيطُ يَا مُقْتَدِرُ

ya muhitu ya muqtadiru

O All-encompassing! O All-prevailing!

[08:10.00]

يَا حَفِيظُ يَا مُتَجَبِّرُ

ya hafizu ya mutajabbiru

O All-guarding! O Invincible!

[08:13.00]

يَا قَرِيبُ يَا وَدُودُ

ya qaribu ya wadudu

O Nigh! O Loving!

يَا حَمِيدُ يَا مَجِيدُ

ya hamidu ya majidu

O All-praised! O full of all glory!

[08:19.00]

يَا مُبْدِئُ يَا مُعِيدُ يَا شَهِيدُ

ya mubdi'u ya mu`idu ya shahidu

O Originator! O Reproducer! O Witness!

[08:23.00]

يَا مُحْسِنُ يَا مُجْمِلُ

ya muhsinu ya mujmilu

O All-liberal! O All-bountiful!

[08:25.00]

يَا مُنْعِمُ يَا مُفْضِلُ

ya mun`imu ya mufdilu

O Source of all bounties! O Doer of favors!

[08:28.00]

يَا قَابِضُ يَا بَاسِطُ

ya qabidu ya basitu

O Straitening! O Enlarger!

[08:31.00]

يَا هَادِي يَا مُرْسِلُ

ya hadi ya mursilu

O Guide! O Sender!

[08:34.00]

يَا مُرْشِدُ يَا مُسَدِّدُ

ya murshidu ya musaddidu

O Director! O Leader (to the truth)!

[08:37.00]

يَا مُعْطِي يَا مَانِعُ

ya mu`ti ya mani`u

O Giver! O Forbidder!

[08:39.00]

يَا دَافِعُ يَا رَافِعُ

ya dafi`u ya rafi`u

O Repealer! O Raiser!

[08:43.00]

يَا بَاقِي يَا وَاقِي

ya baqi ya waqi

O Eternal! O Guardian!

[08:46.00]

يَا خَلاَّقُ يَا وَهَّابُ

ya khallaqu ya wahhabu

O Creator! O Endower!

[08:49.00]

يَا تَوَّابُ يَا فَتَّاحُ

ya tawwabu ya fattahu

O Accepter of repentance! O Decider!

[08:52.00]

يَا نَفَّاحُ يَا مُرْتَاحُ

ya naffahu ya murtahu

O Donator! O Source of rest!

[08:55.00]

يَا مَنْ بِيَدِهِ كُلُّ مِفْتَاحٍ

ya man biyadihi kullu miftahin

O He Who has in possessions the clues of all things!

[08:59.00]

يَا نَفَّاعُ يَا رَؤُوفُ يَا عَطُوفُ

ya naffa`u ya ra'ufu ya `atufu

O Source of profit! O All-kind! O All-sympathetic!

[09:03.00]

يَا كَافِي يَا شَافِي

ya kafi ya shafi

O Securer! O Healer!

[09:06.00]

يَا مُعَافِي يَا مُكَافِي

ya mu`afi ya mukafi

O Curer! O Awarder!

[09:09.00]

يَا وَفِيُّ يَا مُهَيْمِنُ

wafiyyu ya muhayminu

O Faithful! O Dominant!

[09:12.00]

يَا عَزِيزُ يَا جَبَّارُ

ya `azizu ya jabbaru

O Almighty! O All-potent!

[09:15.00]

يَا مُتَكَبِّرُ يَا سَلامُ يَا مُؤْمِنُ

ya mutakabbiru ya salamu ya mu'minu

O Superb! O Giver of peace! O Grantor of security!

[09:19.00]

يَا احَدُ يَا صَمَدُ

ya ahadu ya samadu

O Only One! O Besought of all!

[09:22.00]

يَا نُورُ يَا مُدَبِّرُ

ya nuru ya mudabbiru

O Light! O Manager (of all affairs)!

[09:24.00]

يَا فَرْدُ يَا وِتْرُ

ya fardu ya witru

O Single! O Lone!

[09:26.00]

يَا قُدُّوسُ يَا نَاصِرُ

ya quddusu ya nasiru

O Holy! O Giver of victory!

[09:28.00]

يَا مُؤْنِسُ يَا بَاعِثُ يَا وَارِثُ

ya mu'nisu ya ba`ithu ya warithu

O Source of entertainment! O Resurrector! O Inheritor (of all things)!

[09:32.00]

يَا عَالِمُ يَا حَاكِمُ

ya `alimu ya hakimu

O All-knowing! O Judge!

[09:34.00]

يَا بَادِي يَا مُتَعَالِي

ya badi ya muta`ali

O Originator! O Exalted!

[09:37.00]

يَا مُصَوِّرُ يَا مُسَلِّمُ يَا مُتَحَبِّبُ

ya musawwiru ya musallimu yamutahabbibu

O Maker of visions! O Grantor of safety! O Amiable!

[09:42.00]

يَا قَائِمُ يَا دَائِمُ

ya qa'imu ya da'imu

O Subsistent! O Everlasting!

[09:44.00]

يَا عَلِيمُ يَا حَكِيمُ

ya `alimu ya hakimu

O Knowing! O Wise!

[09:47.00]

يَا جَوَادُ يَا بَارِئُ

ya jawadu ya bari'u

O All-magnanimous! O Maker!

[09:49.00]

يَا بَارُّ يَاسَارُّ

ya barru ya sarru

O Caring! O Source of pleasure!

[09:52.00]

يَا عَدْلُ يَا فَاصِلُ

ya `adlu ya fasilu

O Fair! O Distinguisher (between the right and the wrong)!

[09:55.00]

يَا دَيَّانُ يَا حَنَّانُ يَا مَنَّانُ

ya dayyanu ya hannanu ya mannanu

O Master! O All-munificent! O Favorer!

[09:59.00]

يَا سَمِيعُ يَا بَدِيعُ

ya sami`u ya badi`u

O All-hearer! O best Maker!

[10:01.00]

يَا خَفِيرُ يَا مُعِينُ

ya khafiru ya mu`inu

O Observer! O Helper!

[10:04.00]

يَا نَاشِرُ يَا غَافِرُ

ya nashiru ya ghafiru

O Extender (of mercy)! O Forgiver!

[10:06.00]

يَا قَدِيمُ يَا مُسَهِّلُ يَا مُيَسِّرُ

ya qadimu ya musahhilu ya muyassiru

O Eternal! O Alleviator! O Reliever!

[10:10.00]

يَا مُمِيتُ يَا مُحْيِي

ya mumitu ya muhyi

O He Who causes to die! O Grantor of life!

[10:13.00]

يَا نَافِعُ يَا رَازِقُ

ya nafi`u ya raziqu

O Grantor of benefits! O Provider of sustenance!

[10:15.00]

يَا مُقْتَدِرُ يَا مُسَبِّبُ

ya muqtadiru ya musabbibu

O All-competent! O Creator of causes!

[10:18.00]

يَا مُغِيثُ يَامُغْنِي يَا مُقْنِي

ya mughithu ya mughni ya muqni

O Aide! O Grantor of wealth! O Giver to hold!

[10:22.00]

يَا خَالِقُ يَا رَاصِدُ يَا وَاحِدُ

ya khaliqu ya rasidu ya wahidu

O Creator! O Onlooker! O One!

[10:26.00]

يَا حَاضِرُ يَا جَابِرُ

ya hadiru ya jabiru

O Present! O Mender!

[10:28.00]

يَاحَافِظُ يَا شَدِيدُ

ya hafizu ya shadidu

O Safeguarding! O Firm (in punishment)!

[10:32.00]

يَا غِيَاثُ يَا عَائِدُ يَا قَابِضُ

ya ghiyathu ya `a'idu ya qabidu

O Aid! O Donor! O Straitening!

[10:36.00]

يَا مَنْ عَلاَ فَٱسْتَعْلَىٰ

ya man `ala fasta`la

O He Who has mounted to the most elevated point,

[10:39.00]

فَكَانَ بِٱلْمَنْظَرِ ٱلاعْلَىٰ

fakana bilmanzari al-a`la

He thus occupies the most exalted site!

[10:43.00]

يَا مَنْ قَرُبَ فَدَنَا

ya man qaruba fadana

O He Who has approached so closely that He has become the nearest of all things

[10:46.00]

وَبَعُدَ فَنَاىٰ

wa ba`uda fana'a

and, at the same time, He has been so far that He is in the furthest point,

[10:48.00]

وَعَلِمَ ٱلسِّرَّ وَاخْفَىٰ

wa `alima alssirra wa akhfa

and He has known the secret and even what is more hidden!

[10:52.00]

يَا مَنْ إِلَيْهِ ٱلتَّدْبِيرُ وَلَهُ ٱلْمَقَادِيرُ

ya man ilayhi alttadbiru wa lahu almaqadiru

O He to Whom all management is relegated and to Whom all measures are referred!

[10:57.00]

وَيَا مَنِ ٱلْعَسِيرُ عَلَيْهِ سَهْلٌ يَسِيرٌ

wa ya man al`asiru `alayhi sahlun yasirun

O He for Whom the most difficult thing is easy and simple!

[11:02.00]

يَا مَنْ هُوَ عَلَىٰ مَا يَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ

ya man huwa `ala ma yasha'u qadirun

O He Who has power to do whatever He wills!

[11:06.00]

يَا مُرْسِلَ ٱلرِّيَاحِ

ya mursila alrriyahi

O He Who sends forth the wind!

[11:09.00]

يَا فَالِقَ ٱلإِصْبَاحِ

ya faliqa al-isbahi

O He Who causes the dawn to break!

[11:12.00]

يَا بَاعِثَ ٱلارْوَاحِ

ya ba`itha al-arwahi

O He Who revives the spirits!

[11:14.00]

يَا ذَا ٱلْجُودِ وَٱلسَّمَاحِ

ya dhaljudi walssamahi

O Lord of magnanimity and lenience!

[11:17.00]

يَا رَادَّ مَا قَدْ فَاتَ

ya radda ma qad fata

O He Who has the power to restore that which has been missed!

[11:20.00]

يَا نَاشِرَ ٱلامْوَاتِ

ya nashira al-amwati

O He Who resurrects the dead bodies!

[11:22.00]

يَا جَامِعَ ٱلشَّتَاتِ

ya jami`a alshshatati

O He Who draws together the dispersal!

[11:24.00]

يَا رَازِقَ مَنْ يَشَاءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ

ya raziqa man yasha'u bighayri hisabin

O He Who provides sustenance to whomever He wants without measure!

[11:29.00]

وَيَا فَاعِلَ مَا يَشَاءُ كَيْفَ يَشَاءُ

wa ya fa`ila ma yasha'u kayfa yasha'u

O He Who has power to do whatever He wills however He wills!

[11:33.00]

وَيَا ذَا ٱلْجَلالِ وَٱلإِكْرَامِ

wa ya dhaljalali wal-ikrami

O Lord of Majesty and Honor!

[11:37.00]

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ

ya hayyu ya qayyumu

O Ever-living! O Self-subsistent!

[11:40.00]

يَا حَيّاً حِينَ لاَ حَيُّ

ya hayyan hina la hayya

O He Who existed when there existed nothing else!

[11:43.00]

يَا حَيُّ يَا مُحْيِيَ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ

ya hayyu ya muhyiya almawta

O Ever-living! O Reviver of the dead!

[11:47.00]

يَاحَيُّ لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ

ya hayyu la ilaha illa anta

O Ever-living! There is no god save You

[11:50.00]

بَدِيعُ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ وَٱلارْضِ

badi`u alssamawati wal-ardi

the excellent Maker of the heavens and the earth.

[11:54.00]

يَا إِلٰهِي وَسَيِّدِي

ya ilahi wa sayyidi

O my God and my Master,

[11:57.00]

صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

salli `ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammadin

(please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

[12:02.00]

وَٱرْحَمْ مُحَمَّداً وَآلَ مُحَمَّدٍ

warham Muhammadan wa ala Muhammadin

have mercy upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

[12:06.00]

وَبَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

wa barik `ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammadin

and send benedictions upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

[12:12.00]

كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ وَبَارَكْتَ وَرَحِمْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَآلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ

kama sallayta wa barakta wa rahimta `ala ibrahima wa ali ibrahima

just as You have sent blessings and benedictions and had mercy upon Abraham and the household of Abraham.

[12:21.00]

إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

innaka hamidun majidun

You are verily worthy of all praise and full of all glory.

[12:25.00]

وَٱرْحَمْ ذُلِّي وَفَاقَتِي

warham dhulli wa faqati

Have mercy upon my humiliation, neediness,

[12:29.00]

وَفَقْرِي وَٱنْفِرَادِي وَوَحْدَتِي

wa faqri wanfiradi wa wahdati

poverty, loneliness, aloneness,

[12:34.00]

وَخُضُوعِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ

wa khudu`i bayna yadayka

humbleness before You,

[12:38.00]

وَٱعْتِمَادِي عَلَيْكَ

wa`timadi `alayka

reliance upon You,

[12:41.00]

وَتَضَرُّعِي إِلَيْكَ

wa tadarru`i ilayka

and submission to You.

[12:44.00]

ادْعُوكَ دُعَاءَ ٱلْخَاضِعِ ٱلذَّلِيلِ

ad`uka du`a'a alkhadi`i aldhdhalili

I implore You with the imploring of the humble, the subservient,

[12:50.00]

ٱلْخَاشِعِ ٱلْخَائِفِ

alkhashi`i alkha'ifi

the fearful, the scared

[12:53.00]

ٱلْمُشْفِقِ ٱلْبَائِسِ

almushfiqi alba'isi

the afraid, the miserable,

[12:55.00]

ٱلْمَهِينِ ٱلْحَقِيرِ

almahini alhaqiri

the modest, the insignificant,

[12:58.00]

ٱلْجَائِعِ ٱلْفَقِيرِ

alja'i`i alfaqiri

the hungry, the poor,

[13:01.00]

ٱلْعَائِذِ ٱلْمُسْتَجِيرِ

al`a'idhi almustajiri

the seeker of Your refuge, the seeker of Your protection,

[13:05.00]

ٱلْمُقِرِّ بِذَنْبِهِ

almuqirri bidhanbihi

the confessing of his sins,

[13:08.00]

ٱلْمُسْتَغْفِرِ مِنْهُ

almustaghfiri minhu

the implorer for You to forgive his sin,

[13:10.00]

ٱلْمُسْتَكِينِ لِرَبِّهِ

almustakini lirabbihi

and the humble to his Lord;

[13:13.00]

دُعَاءَ مَنْ اسْلَمَتْهُ ثِقَتُهُ

du`a'a man aslamat-hu thiqatuhu

I implore You with the imploration of one whom has been disappointed by those whom he trusts,

[13:17.00]

وَرَفَضَتْهُ احِبَّتُهُ

wa rafadat-hu ahibbatuhu

rejected by his intimate ones,

[13:20.00]

وَعَظُمَتْ فَجِيعَتُهُ

wa `azumat faji`atuhu

and whose catastrophe has been enormous.

[13:23.00]

دُعَاءَ حَرِقٍ حَزِينٍ

du`a'a hariqin hazinin

I implore You the imploration of one burning, sad,

[13:26.00]

ضَعِيفٍ مَهِينٍ

da`ifin mahinin

weak, mortified,

[13:29.00]

بَائِسٍ مُسْتَكِينٍ

ba'isin mustakinin

depressed, wretched,

[13:32.00]

بِكَ مُسْتَجِيرٍ

bika mustajirin

and resorting to Your shelter.

[13:34.00]

اَللَّهُمَّ وَاسْالُكَ بِانَّكَ مَلِيكٌ

allahumma wa as'aluka bi'annaka malikun

O Allah, I also beseech You in the name of Your being the King,

[13:39.00]

وَانَّكَ مَا تَشَاءُ مِنْ امْرٍ يَكُونُ

wa annaka ma tasha'u min amrin yakunu

whatever You will shall definitely take place,

[13:43.00]

وَانَّكَ عَلَىٰ مَا تَشَاءُ قَدِيرٌ

wa annaka `ala ma tasha'u qadirun

and You have power over all things.

[13:47.00]

وَاسْالُكَ بِحُرْمَةِ هٰذَا ٱلشَّهْرِ ٱلْحَرَامِ

wa as'aluk bihurmati hadha alshshahri alharami

I beseech You in the name of the holiness of this sacred month,

[13:52.00]

وَٱلْبَيْتِ ٱلْحَرَامِ

walbayti alharami

the Sacred House,

[13:54.00]

وَٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ

walbaladi alharami

the Sacred Town,

[13:57.00]

وَٱلرُّكْنِ وَٱلْمَقَامِ

walrrukni walmaqami

the Rukn (i.e. the corner of the Holy Ka`bah), the Maqam (i.e. the standing-place of Prophet Abraham),

[13:59.00]

وَٱلْمَشَاعِرِ ٱلْعِظَامِ

walmasha`iri al`izami

the great rituals,

[14:03.00]

وَبِحَقِّ نَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ ٱلسَّلاَمُ

wa bihaqqi nabiyyika Muhammadin `alayhi wa alihi alssalamu

and in the name of Your Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his Household.

[14:09.00]

يَا مَنْ وَهَبَ لآِدَمَ شَيْثاً

ya man wahaba li'adama shaythan

O He Who gave Shayth to Adam,

[14:13.00]

وَلإِبْرَاهِيمَ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ

wa li'ibrahima isma`ila wa ishaqa

and gave Ishmael and Isaac to Abraham!

[14:17.00]

وَيَا مَنْ رَدَّ يُوسُفَ عَلَىٰ يَعْقُوبَ

wa ya man radda yusufa `ala ya`quba

O He Who returned Joseph to Jacob!

[14:21.00]

وَيَا مَنْ كَشَفَ بَعْدَ ٱلْبَلاءِ ضُرَّ ايُّوْبَ

wa ya man kashafa ba`da albala'i durra ayyuba

O He Who relieved Job from his harm after long hardships!

[14:25.00]

يَا رَادَّ مُوسَىٰ عَلَىٰ امِّهِ

ya radda musa `ala ummihi

O He Who returned Moses to his mother!

[14:28.00]

وَزَائِدَ ٱلْخِضْرِ فِي عِلْمِهِ

wa za'ida alkhidri fi `ilmihi

O He Who increased al-Khadir knowledge!

[14:32.00]

وَيَا مَنْ وَهَبَ لِدَاوُودَ سُلَيْمَانَ

wa ya man wahaba lidawuda sulaymana

O He Who gave Solomon to David,

[14:36.00]

وَلِزَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَىٰ

wa lizakariyya yahya

gave Jonah to Zachariah,

[14:38.00]

وَلِمَرْيَمَ عِيسَىٰ

wa limaryama `isa

and gave Jesus to Mary!

[14:41.00]

يَا حَافِظَ بِنْتِ شُعَيْبٍ

ya hafiza binti shu`aybin

O He Who safeguarded the daughter of Shu`ayb!

[14:44.00]

وَيَا كَافِلَ وَلَدِ امِّ مُوسَىٰ

wa ya kafila waladi umm musa

O He Who cared for the son of the mother of Moses!

[14:47.00]

اسْالُكَ انْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

as'aluka an tusalliya `ala Muhammadin wa ali Muhammadin

I beseech You to send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

[14:53.00]

وَانْ تَغْفِرَ لِي ذُنُوبِي كُلَّهَا

wa an taghfira li dhunubi kullaha

forgive my all sins,

[14:58.00]

وَتُجِيرَنِي مِنْ عَذَابِكَ

wa tujirani min `adhabika

save me from Your chastisement,

[15:02.00]

وَتُوجِبَ لِي رِضْوَانَكَ وَ امَانَكَ

wa tujiba li ridwanaka wa amanaka

and confer upon me with Your pleasure and security

[15:06.00]

وَإِحْسَانَكَ وَغُفْرَانَكَ وَجِنَانَكَ

wa ihsanaka wa ghufranaka wa jinanaka

and with Your favoring, forgiveness, and gardens of Your Paradise.

[15:12.00]

وَاسْالُكَ انْ تَفُكَّ عَنِّي كُلَّ حَلْقَةٍ

wa as'aluka an tafukka `anni kulla halqatin

I ask You to redeem me from all circles of misfortune

[15:16.00]

بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ مَنْ يُؤْذِينِي

bayni wa bayna man yu'dhini

that are drawn around those who intend harm to me and me,

[15:20.00]

وَتَفْتَحَ لِي كُلَّ بَابٍ

wa taftaha li kulla babin

unlock for me all doors,

[15:23.00]

وَتُلَيِّنَ لِي كُلَّ صَعْبٍ

wa tulayyina li kulla sa`bin

make easy for me all hardships,

[15:27.00]

وَتُسَهِّلَ لِي كُلَّ عَسِيرٍ

wa tusahhila li kulla `asirin

alleviate for me all difficult matters,

[15:30.00]

وَتُخْرِسَ عَنِّي كُلَّ نَاطِقٍ بِشَرٍّ

wa tukhrisa `anni kulla natiqin bisharrin

mute all those who speak ill of me,

[15:35.00]

وَتَكُفَّ عَنِّي كُلَّ بَاغٍ

wa takuffa `anni kulla baghin

defend me against all oppressors,

[15:38.00]

وَتَكْبِتَ عَنِّي كُلَّ عَدُوٍّ لِي وَحَاسِدٍ

wa takbita `anni kulla `aduwwin li wa hasidin

suppress all my enemies and envious ones,

[15:43.00]

وَتَمْنَعَ مِنِّي كُلَّ ظَالِمٍ

wa tamna`a minni kulla zalimin

protect me against all unjust ones,

[15:47.00]

وَتَكْفِيَنِي كُلَّ عَائِقٍ يَحُولُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ حَاجَتِي

wa takfiyani kulla `a'iqin yahulu bayni wa bayna hajati

and rescue me from all impediments that lie between my needs and me,

[15:54.00]

وَيُحَاوِلُ انْ يُفَرِّقَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَ طَاعَتِكَ

wa yuhawilu an yufarriqa bayni wa bayna ta`atika

try to take me away from acts of obedience to You,

[16:00.00]

وَيُثَبِّطَنِي عَنْ عِبَادَتِكَ

wa yuthabbitani `an `ibadatika

and try to frustrate me from serving You.

[16:04.00]

يَا مَنْ الْجَمَ ٱلْجِنَّ ٱلْمُتَمَرِّدِينَ

ya man aljama aljinna almutamarridina

O He Who has bridled all mutinous jinn,

[16:08.00]

وَقَهَرَ عُتَاةَ ٱلشَّيَاطِينِ

wa qahara `utata alshshayatini

overcome all tyrannical devils,

[16:12.00]

وَاذَلَّ رِقَابَ ٱلْمُتَجَبِّرِينَ

wa adhalla riqaba almutajabbirina

mortified the necks of the oppressors,

[16:17.00]

وَرَدَّ كَيْدَ ٱلْمُتَسَلِّطِينَ عَنِ ٱلْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ

wa radda kayda almutasallitina `an almustad`afina

and deterred all the ruling authorities from harming the enfeebled ones!

[16:23.00]

اسْالُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَىٰ مَا تَشَاءُ

as'aluka biqudratika `ala ma tasha'u

I beseech You in the name of Your power over all things

[16:28.00]

وَتَسْهِيلِكَ لِمَا تَشَاءُ كَيْفَ تَشَاءُ

wa tas-hilika lima tasha'u kayfa tasha'u

and Your alleviating whatever You will however You will,

[16:34.00]

انْ تَجْعَلَ قَضَاءَ حَاجَتِي فِيمَا تَشَاءُ

an taj`ala qada'a hajati fima tasha'u

to grant my requests as You will.
