يَا مَنْ تُحَلُّ بِهِ عُقَدُ الْمَكَارِهِ وَ يَا مَنْ يُفْثَأُ [يفل‌] بِهِ حَدُّ الشَّدَائِدِمِنْهَا إِلَّا مَا كَشَفْتَ وَ قَدْ نَزَلَ بِي

“O‟ He by whom abominable things are removed. O‟ He by whom all hardships are eased.

وَ يَا مَنْ يُلْتَمَسُ مِنْهُ الْمَخْرَجُ إِلَى رَوْحِ [مَحَلِ‌] الْفَرَجِ ذَلَّتْ لِقُدْرَتِكَ الصِّعَابُ وَ تَسَبَّبَتْ بِلُطْفِكَ الْأَسْبَابُ

O‟ He from whom relief is demanded. Hardships are nothing compared to Your Power. Means are put to use by Your Kindness.

وَ جَرَى بِطَاعَتِكَ الْقَضَاءُ وَ مَضَتْ عَلَى إِرَادَتِكَ الْأَشْيَاءُ فَهِيَ بِمَشِيَّتِكَ دُونَ قَوْلِكَ مُؤْتَمِرَةٌ وَ بِإِرَادَتِكَ دُونَ نَهْيِكَ مُنْزَجِرَةٌ أَنْتَ الْمَدْعُوُّ لِلْمُهِمَّاتِ

Destiny happens by obeying You, and all things abide by Your Will. Thus all things abide by Your Will, not Your Words, and abstain from Your Prohibitions by Your Will.

وَ أَنْتَ الْمَفْزَعُ لِلْمُلِمَّاتِ [فِي الْمُلِمَّاتِ‌] لَا يَنْدَفِعُ مِنْهَا إِلَّا مَا دَفَعْتَ وَ لَا يَنْكَشِفُ

You are Him whom the people call in the event of urgent matters; and You are the refuge unto whom to run for help when misfortune strikes! Nothing would be fended off from them unless You fend it off! And nothing would be removed from them unless You remove it.

يَا رَبِّ مَا قَدْ تَكَأَّدَنِي ثِقْلُهُ وَ أَلَمَّ بِي مَا قَدْ بَهَظَنِي حَمْلُهُ وَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ أَوْرَدْتَهُ عَلَيَّ وَ بِسُلْطَانِكَ وَجَّهْتَهُ إِلَيَّ وَ لَا [فَلَا] مُصْدِرَ لِمَا أَوْرَدْتَ وَ لَا مُورِدَ لِمَا أَصْدَرْتَ وَ لَا صَارِفَ لِمَا وَجَّهْتَ وَ لَا فَاتِحَ لِمَا أَغْلَقْتَ وَ لَا مُغْلِقَ لِمَا فَتَحْتَ وَ لَا مُيَسِّرَ لِمَا عَسَّرْتَ وَ لَا مُعَسِّرَ لِمَا يَسَّرْتَ وَ لَا نَاصِرَ لِمَنْ خَذَلْتَ وَ لَا خَاذِلَ لِمَنْ نَصَرْتَ

O‟ Lord! Now a calamity has descended upon me whose seriousness overburdens me and it is difficult for me to bear. You have sent it to me by Your Power and have directed it to me by Your Authority.Thus no one can push away what You have Willed and no one can impose what You Fend Off. No one can open what You close, and no one can close what You open. No one can ease what You make difficult and no one can make difficult what You ease. No one can help one You debase and no one can debase one You help.

فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (MGB).

وَ افْتَحْ لِي يَارَبِّ بَابَ الْفَرَجِ بِطَوْلِكَ وَ اكْسِرْ عَنِّي سُلْطَانَ [قَرِيباً]

O‟ Lord! Please open the doors of relief for me through Your Power.

الْهَمِّ بِحَوْلِكَ وَ أَنِلْنِي حُسْنَ النَّظَرِ فِيمَا شَكَوْتُ وَ أَذِقْنِي حَلَاوَةَ الصُّنْعِ فِيمَا سَأَلْتُ وَ هَبْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ فَرَجاً [رَحْمَةً] هَنِيئاً

O‟ my God! Please destroy the power of grief that has overcome me by Your Strength and grant me good consideration regarding my complaint and let me taste the sweetness of Your Kindness regarding what I beg of You.

وَ اجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ عِنْدِكَ مَخْرَجاً وَحِيّاً وَ لَا تَشْغَلْنِي بِالاهْتِمَامِ عَنْ تَعَاهُدِ فُرُوضِكَ وَ اسْتِعْمَالِ سُنَّتِكَ فَقَدْ ضِقْتُ

And bestow me quick relief from Your Own Presence and provide a quick way out for me from Yourself. Please do not engage me in doing things other than the obligations and performing Your Traditions.

[يَا رَبِ‌] لِمَا نَزَلَ بِي ذَرْعاً وَ امْتَلَأْتُ بِمَا [بِحَمْلِ مَا] حَدَثَ عَلَيَّ هَمّاً وَ أَنْتَ الْقَادِرُ عَلَى كَشْفِ مَا مُنِيتُ بِهِ وَ دَفْعِ مَا وَقَعْتُ فِيهِ

O‟ Lord! I cannot bear the calamity that has happened for me and I have become sad. And You have power to alleviate what has happened to me and fend off what I am stuck in.

فَصَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ افْعَلْ بِي ذَلِكَ وَ إِنْ لَمْ أَسْتَوْجِبْهُ مِنْكَ يَا رَبِّ يَا ذَا الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ [الْعَظِيمِ‌] وَ السُّلْطَانِ الْعَظِيمِ [الْقَدِيمِ‌] يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ خَلَوْنَا بِهِ وَحْدَنَا وَ يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ أَشَرْنَا إِلَيْهِ بِكَفِّنَا نَسْأَلُكَ

And please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (MGB) and do so for me even if I do not deserve it. O Benevolent Lord of the Throne! The Great King! O‟ the best to talk to privately and the best to point to with our hands!

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْ تُلْهِمَنَا الْخَيْرَ وَ تُعْطِيَنَاهُ وَ أَنْ تَصْرِفَ عَنَّا الشَّرَّ وَ تَكْفِيَنَاهُ وَ أَنْ تَدْحَرَ عَنَّا الشَّيْطَانَ وَ تُبَعِّدَنَاهُ

O‟ my God! I ask You to inspire us to do good and grant us good! I ask You to remove evil from us and suffice us, fend off Satan from us and push him away.

وَ أَنْ تَرْزُقَنَا الْفِرْدَوْسَ وَ تُحِلَّنَاهُ وَ أَنْ تَسْقِيَنَا مِنْ حَوْضِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ [صَلَوَاتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَ آلِهِ‌] وَ تُوْرِدَنَاهُ وَ نَدْعُوكَ

Please bless us with Paradise and let us into it. Please let us drink from and enter the Pond of Muhammad and his Progeny (MGB).

يَا رَبَّنَا تَضَرُّعاً وَ خِيفَةً وَ رَغْبَةً وَ رَهْبَةً وَ خَوْفاً وَ طَمَعاً إِنَّكَ سَمِيعُ الدُّعاءِ

O‟ our Lord! We call You crying, out of fear, desire and need, horror and greed since You hear prayers.

وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِحُرْمَةِ مَنْ عَاذَ بِكَ مِنْكَ وَ لَجَأَ إِلَى عِزِّكَ وَ اسْتَظَلَّ بِفَيْئِكَ وَ اعْتَصَمَ بِحَبْلِكَ وَ لَمْ يَثِقْ إِلَّا بِكَ يَا جَزِيلَ الْعَطَايَا وَ يَا فَكَّاكَ الْأُسَارَى أَنْتَ الْمَفْزَعُ فِي الْمُلِمَّاتِ وَ أَنْتَ الْمَدْعُوُّ لِلْمُهِمَّاتِ

Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (MGB). O‟ my God! I ask You by the honor of those who take refuge in You from You, seek protection in Your Might, protected under Your Shadow, grabbed onto Your Rope, trusting none but You. O‟ He who grants abundant gifts! O‟ He who frees the captives! And You are the refuge unto whom to run for help when misfortune strikes! You are Him whom the people call in the event of urgent matters.

صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اجْعَلْ لِي فَرَجاً وَ مَخْرَجاً وَ ارْزُقْنِي رِزْقاً وَاسِعاً بِمَا شِئْتَ إِذَا شِئْتَ وَ كَيْفَ شِئْتَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (MGB) and provide an easy way out of my affairs. O‟ God! Please bless me with abundant sustenance – whatever You Will, whenever You Will and however You Will. O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.”
