اللَّهُمَّ يَا مَنْ بَطْشُهُ شَدِيدٌ وَ عَفْوُهُ قَدِيمٌ وَ مُلْكُهُ مُسْتَقِيمٌ وَ لُطْفُهُ شَدِيدٌ
“O‟ my God! O‟ He whose Assault is Mighty, whose Forgiveness is Eternal, whose Authority is Firm, and whose Kindness is great!
يَا مَنْ سَتَرَ عَلَيَّ الْقَبِيحَ وَ ظَهَرَ بِالْجَمِيلِ
O‟ He who covers up my awful deeds and reveals beautiful deeds!
وَ لَمْ يُعَجِّلْ بِالْعُقُوبَةِ وَ يَا مَنْ أَذِنَ لِلْعِبَادِ بِالتَّوْبَةِ
He does not rush to punish! O‟ He who permitted Your servants to repent!
يَا مَنْ لَمْ يَهْتِكِ السِّتْرَ لَدَى [لِذِي] الْفَضِيحَةِ يَا مَنْ لَا يَعْلَمُ مَا فِي غَدٍ غَيْرُهُ
O‟ He who does not divulge secrets of scandals! O‟ He other than whom no one knows what is in the future!
[وَ] يَا جَابِرَ كُلِّ كَسِيرٍ يَا مَأْوَى كُلِّ هَارِبٍ
O‟ He who mends all that is broken! O‟ He who is the Shelter of all who flee!
يَا غَاذِيَ مَا فِي بُطُونِ الْأُمَّهَاتِ
O‟ He who feeds what is in the wombs of mothers!
يَا سَيِّدِي أَنْتَ لِي فِي كُلِّ حَاجَةٍ نَزَلَتْ بِي صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
O‟ my Master! You are He who fulfills all my needs that come up. Please bestow Your Blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny (as).
وَ اكْفِنِي مَا أَهَمَّنِي وَ ارْزُقْنِي مِنْ رِزْقِكَ الْوَاسِعِ رِزْقاً حَلَالًا طَيِّباً
Please take care of my affairs and bless me with Your Abundant, Pure and Legitimate Sustenance.
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيثُ [اسْتَغَثْتُ] فُكَّ أَسْرِي وَ أَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ وَ لَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ أَبَداً مَا أَبْقَيْتَنِي بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.
O‟ the Living! O‟ the Eternal! I seek help from Your Mercy. So please release me from slavery. Please improve all my affairs and do not leave me to myself even for the twinkling of an eye for as long as I live by Your Mercy – O‟ the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.”
