سُبْحَانَ مَنْ تَبْهَرُ قُدْرَتُهُ الْأَفْكَارَ وَ تَمْلَأُ عَجَائِبُهُ الْأَبْصَارَ
“Glory be to God whose Power is dominant over the thoughts, whose wonders have filled the eyes,
الَّذِي لَا يَنْقُصُهُ الْعَطَاءُ وَ لَا يَعْتَرِضُ جُودَهُ الذَّكَاءُ [الذَّكَّاءُ]
His Bestowals do not diminish and smart asking does not force Him to bestow!
الَّذِي أَنْطَقَ الْأَلْسُنَ بِصِفَاتِهِ وَ اقْتَدَرَ بِالْفِعْلِ عَلَى مَفْعُولَاتِهِ
He Himself who made the tongues to speak about His Attributes, and He was Powerful to do what He did with His Own Acts.
وَ أَدْخَلَ فِي صَلَاحِهَا الْفَسَادَ وَ عَلَى مُجْتَمَعِهَا الشَّتَاتَ وَ عَلَى مُنْتَظَمِهَا الِانْفِصَامَ لِيَدُلَّ الْمُبْصِرِينَ [الْمُتَبَصِّرِينَ] عَلَى أَنَّهَا فَانِيَةٌ مِنْ صَنْعَةِ بَاقٍ مَخْلُوقَةٌ مِنْ إِنْشَاءِ خَلْقٍ [خَالِقٍ]
And He joined corruption with their correctness, scattering with their union, and discord with their orderliness so as to guide the blind ones that all of them shall be destroyed and they are the created by the Creator.
لَا بَقَاءَ وَ لَا دَوَامَ إِلَّا لَهُ الْوَاحِدُ الْغَالِبُ الَّذِي لَا يُغْلَبُ وَ الْمَالِكُ الَّذِي لَا يُمْلَكُ
There is no survival or lasting except for Him - the Only, the Winner who cannot be defeated. You are the Ruler who cannot be ruled!
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بَلَّغَنِيكِ [بَلَّغَنِي] لَيْلَةً طَوَيْتُ يَوْمَهَا عَلَى صِيَامٍ وَ رُزِقْتُ فِيهِ الْيَقَظَةَ مِنَ الْمَنَامِ
Praise be to God, Who let me reach this night that I spent its day with fasting. He blessed me with staying up instead of sleeping on it and with all-night vigil
وَ قَصَدْتُ رَبَّ الْعِزَّةِ بِالْقِيَامِ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِنْهُ تَخُصُّنِي وَ نِعْمَةٍ أُلْبِسَتْنِي وَ حُسْنَى نَعَشَتْنِي وَ أَسْأَلُهُ إِتْمَامَ ابْتِدَائِهِ وَ زِيَادَةً لِي مِنِ اجْتِبَائِهِ فَإِنَّهُ الْمَلِيكُ الْقَدِيرُ وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ كَثِيراً.
I ask my Lord of Honor to allocate His Special Mercy to me, bless me with His Blessings, and cover me with His Kindness. I ask Him to finish the beginning of this night with increased things which He has granted me because He is the Powerful King. God send salutations be upon Muhammad and his Progeny (as) with plenty of peace.”
