سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْبَارِئُ الْوَاحِدُ الْقَهَّارُ

There is no God but You: glory be to You! And You are the Evolver, the Only, the Subduer

الَّذِي خَلَقَنِي وَ لَمْ أَكُ شَيْئاً بِمَشِيَّتِهِ

Who created me by His Will while I was not noteworthy

وَ أَرَانِي فِي نَفْسِي وَ فِي كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ مِنْ مَخْلُوقَاتِهِ وَ صُنْعِهِ الدَّلَائِلَ الْبَيِّنَةَ النَّيِّرَةَ عَلَى قُدْرَتِهِ

You showed clear and illuminating proofs of Your Power in me and all things that You created

الَّذِي فَرَضَ عَلَيَّ الصِّيَامَ تَعَبُّداً يُصْلِحُ بِهِ شَأْنِي

You made fasting incumbent upon the worshippers, improved my status by it

وَ يَغْسِلُ عَنِّي أَوْزَارِي وَ يَذْكُرُنِي بِمَا لَهَوْتُ عَنْهُ مِنْ ذِكْرِهِ

washed off my sins from me, reminded me of what hinders me from remembering Him

وَ يُوجِبُ لِيَ الزُّلْفَى بِطَاعَةِ أَمْرِهِ

, and made me deserve His Proximity by obeying His Orders

اللَّهُمَّ سَيِّدِي أَنْتَ مَوْلَايَ

..,. O my God! O my Master! You are my Guardian!

إِنْ كُنْتَ جُدْتَ عَلَيَّ بِصَالِحٍ فِيمَا مَضَى مِنْهُ ارْتَضَيْتَهُ فَزِدْنِي

Please increase any good deeds that I may have done in the past and pleased You

وَ إِنْ كُنْتَ اقْتَرَفْتَ مَا أَسْخَطَكَ فَأَقِلْنِي

and forgive me if what I did caused Your Wrath

اللَّهُمَّ مَلِّكْنِي مِنْ نَفْسِي فِي الْهُدَى مَا أَنْتَ لَهُ أَمْلَكُ

O my God! Grant me more of the guidance that You have

وَ قَدِّرْنِي مِنَ الْعُدُولِ بِهَا إِلَى إِرَادَتِكَ عَلَى مَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْهِ أَقْدَرُ

and enable me to force myself to return to what is in agreement with Your Will

وَ كُنْ مُخْتَاراً لِعَبْدِكَ مَا يُسْعِدُهُ بِطَاعَتِكَ

Choose what would lead to Your servants prosperity by Your Obedience

وَ تَجَنُّبِهِ الشِّقْوَةَ بِمَعْصِيَتِكَ حَتَّى يَفُوزَ فِي الْمَعْصُومِينَ

and save him from wretchedness due to Your Disobedience so that he may prosper amongst the Immaculate Ones

وَ يَنْجُوَ فِي الْمَقْبُولِينَ

and be saved amongst those whose deeds are accepted

وَ يُرَافِقَ الْفَائِزِينَ الَّذِينَ‌ لا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَ لا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ‌

and be in the company of those who prosper - those who have no fear nor any grief

وَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ تَسْلِيماً كَثِيراً

Please bestow blessings on Muhammad and his Progeny and may His peace be on them plentifully
