It has been reported from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessing be upon his family): Whoever recites on the seventeenth night of Sha’ban,a 2 Rakat prayer, reciting in each unit Surah Fatiha once and Surah Ikhlaas 71 times, and asks Allah for forgiveness sevety times after the prayer. Allah would forgive him before he gets up and no offense shall be recorded for him.
