Recite a 2 raka' Salah after sighting the moon (Salah Ruyatil Hilal) of the first night of every lunar month. (or within three days and the earlier the better.)
In the first raka' recite after Sura Fatiha recite Sura Ikhlaas 30 times.In the second raka' after Sura Fatiha recite Sura Qadr 30 times.After accomplishment, alms should be given. Whoever offers this prayer each month, will win safety throughout that month. According to other narrations, the following prayer, which is a number of Qur'anic verses, may be said after the accomplishment of the prayer:
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
bismi allahi alrrahmani alrrahimi
In the Name of Allah; the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ فِي ٱلارْضِ
wa ma min dabbatin fi al-ardi
And there is no animal in the earth
إِلاَّ عَلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ رِزْقُهَا
illa `ala allahi rizquha
but on Allah is the sustenance of it,
وَيَعْلَمُ مُسْتَقَرَّهَا وَمُسْتَوْدَعَهَا
wa ya`lamu mustaqarraha wa mustawda`aha
and He knows its resting place and its depository.
كُلٌّ فِي كِتَابٍ مُبِينٍ
kullun fi kitabin mubinin
All (things) are in a manifest book.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
bismi allahi alrrahmani alrrahimi
In the Name of Allah; the All-beneficent, the All-merciful;
وَإِنْ يَمْسَسْكَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ فَلاَ كَاشِفَ لَهُ إِلاَّ هُوَ
wa in yamsaska allahu bidurrin fala kashifa lahu illa huwa
And if Allah should afflict you with harm, then there is none to remove it but He;
وَإِنْ يُرِدْكَ بِخَيْرٍ فَلاَ رَادَّ لِفَضْلِهِ
wa in yuridka bikhayrin fala radda lifadlihi
and if He intends good to you there is none to repel His grace;
يُصِيبُ بِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ
yusibu bihi man yasha'u min `ibadihi
He brings it to whom He pleases of His servants;
وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
wa huwa alghafuru alrrahimu
and He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
bismi allahi alrrahmani alrrahimi
In the Name of Allah; the All-beneficent, the All-merciful;
سَيَجْعَلُ ٱللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُسْراً
sayaj`alu allahu ba`da `usrin yusran
Allah brings about ease after difficulty.
مَا شَاءَ ٱللَّهُ
ma sha'a allahu
Only that which Allah will shall come to pass.
لاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِٱللَّهِ
la quwwata illa billahi
There is no power save in Allah.
حَسْبُنَا ٱللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ ٱلْوَكِيلُ
hasbuna allahu wa ni`ma alwakilu
Allah is sufficient for us and most excellent is the Protector.
وَافَوِّضُ امْرِي إِلَىٰ ٱللَّهِ
wa ufawwidu amri ila allahi
And I entrust my affair to Allah.
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بَصِيرٌ بِٱلْعِبَادِ
inna allaha basirun bil`ibadi
Surely, Allah sees the servants.
لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ
la ilaha illa anta subhanaka
There is no god but You. All glory be to You.
إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّالِمِينَ
inni kuntu min alzzalimina
Verily, I have been a wrongdoer.
رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا انْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ
rabbi inni lima anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqirun
O Lord, surely I stand in need of whatever good You may send down to me.
رَبِّ لاَ تَذَرْنِي فَرْداً وَانْتَ خَيْرُ ٱلْوَارِثِينَ
rabbi la tadharni fardan wa anta khayru alwarithina
O my Lord, leave me not alone; and You are the best of inheritors.
