اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ يَا مَنْ‌ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْ‌ءٌ وَ

O Allah, I ask You, O He to whom there is no comparable,

يَا مَنْ لَيْسَ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ الْعُلَى وَ لَا فِي الْأَرَضِينَ السُّفْلَى

and O He who is not in the high heavens nor in the lower earths,

وَ لَا فَوْقَهُنَّ وَ لَا تَحْتَهُنَّ وَ لَا بَيْنَهُنَّ

nor above them, nor below them, nor between them,

إِلَهٌ يُعْبَدُ غَيْرُكَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ

there is no deity worshipped other than You alone, no partner to You.

يَا وَاحِدُ بِغَيْرِ تَشْبِيهٍ يَا بَاقِياً إِلَى غَيْرِ غَايَةٍ

O Unique without comparison, O Everlasting without end,

يَا جَبَّاراً فِي سُلْطَانِهِ يَا كَبِيراً فِي كِبْرِيَائِهِ

O Dominant in His sovereignty, O Great in His majesty,

يَا قُدُّوساً فِي سَمَائِهِ [فِي أَسْمَائِهِ‌] يَا كَرِيماً فِي عَطَائِهِ

O Holy in His heaven [in His names], O Generous in His giving,

يَا جَلِيلًا فِي بَهَائِهِ يَا حَمِيداً فِي فَعَالِهِ

O Majestic in His splendor, O Praiseworthy in His deeds,

يَا مَلِكاً فِي ابْتِدَائِهِ وَ اقْتِدَارِهِ يَا عَالِماً فِي إِحْصَائِهِ

O King in His initiation and power, O Knower in His account,

يَا غَالِباً فِي ارْتِفَاعِهِ يَا عَزِيزاً فِي امْتِنَاعِهِ

O Dominant in His ascendancy, O Mighty in His prevention,

يَا جَوَاداً فِي إِفْضَالِهِ يَا ذَا السُّلْطَانِ الشَّامِخِ

O Generous in His favor, O Possessor of the lofty sovereignty,

يَا ذَا الْعِزِّ الْبَاذِخِ يَا ذَا الْمُلْكِ الْفَاخِرِ

O Possessor of the lavish dignity, O Possessor of the glorious kingdom,

يَا ذَا الْبَهَاءِ الزَّاهِرِيَا مَنْ بِهِ يُحَسَّنُ الظُّنُونُ

O Possessor of the radiant splendor, O He through whom good assumptions are made,

يَا ذَا الْجُودِ وَ الْكَرَمِ وَ الْمَنِّ وَ الْكِبْرِيَاءِ يَا بَاقِياً لَا يَمُوتُ

O Possessor of generosity, nobility, favor, and grandeur, O Everlasting who does not die,

يَا صَمَداً لَا يَطْعَمُ يَا قَيُّوماً لَا يَنَامُ

O Eternal who does not eat, O Sustainer who does not sleep,

يَا بَصِيراً لَا يَرْتَابُ يَا حَافِظاً لَا يَجْهَلُ

O Seeing who does not doubt, O Guardian who does not ignore,

يَا وَاسِعاً لَا يُتَكَلَّفُ يَا غَنِيّاً لَا يَفْتَقِرُ

O Expansive who does not exert, O Wealthy who does not need,

يَا مَنِيعاً لَا يُرَامُ يَا عَزِيزاً لَا يُضَامُ

O Impregnable who cannot be attacked, O Mighty who is not wronged,

يَا قَوِيّاً لَا يُغْلَبُ يَا جَبَّاراً لَا يُكَلَّمُ

O Strong who is not overcome, O Compeller who is not spoken to,

يَا مُحْتَجِباً لَا يُرَى يَا جَبَّارَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ

O Hidden who is not seen, O Compeller of the heavens and the earth,

يَا نُورَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ يَا بَدِيعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ

O Light of the heavens and the earth, O Originator of the heavens and the earth,

يَا أَكْرَمَ الْأَكْرَمِينَ يَا أَجْوَدَ الْأَجْوَدَيْنِ

O Most Generous of the generous, O Most Giving of the givers,

يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ يَا غِيَاثَ الْمُسْتَغِيثِينَ

O Most Merciful of the merciful, O Relief of those seeking relief,

يَا وَلِيَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَا عِزَّ النَّاصِرِينَ وَ الذَّاكِرِينَ

O Guardian of the believers, O Honor of those giving victory and those remembering,

يَا سَبِيلَ الصَّالِحِينَ يَا مُفَرِّجاً عَنِ الْمَكْرُوبِينَ

O Way of the righteous, O Reliever of the distressed,

يَا كَثِيرَ الرَّاغِبِينَ إِلَيْهِ يَا غَوْثَ الْمَلْهُوفِينَ

O Abundantly sought after, O Refuge of the distraught,

يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ دَعَاهُ الدَّاعُونَ

O Best of those called upon.

أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

I ask You to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad

وَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ عَبْدَكَ مِنْ أَعْظَمِ عِبَادِكَ الْيَوْمَ فِيمَا تَقْسِمُهُ مِنْ نُورٍ تَهْدِي بِهِ

and to make Your servant among the greatest of Your servants today in what You distribute of light by which You guide,

وَ رَحْمَةٍ تَنْشُرُهَا وَ رِزْقٍ تَبْسُطُهُ

and mercy which You spread, and provision You extend,

وَ ضُرٍّ تَكْشِفُهُ وَ بَلَاءٍ تَصْرِفُهُ

and harm You unveil, and affliction You avert,

وَ فِتْنَةٍ تَكُفُّهَا وَ ثَوَابٍ تَكْتُبُهُ وَ أَمْرٍ تُسَهِّلُهُ‌

and temptation You prevent, and reward You write, and matter You facilitate.

إِنَّكَ عَلى‌ كُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ قَدِيرٌ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ.

Indeed, You are over all things competent, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
