Imam Sadiq (a.s.) has said that when Ali bin Hussein (a.s.) reached the Hijr (enclosure) of Ismail (a.s.) before reaching the Meezaab, he would raise his head and say while looking at the Meezaah :
اَللّٰہُمَّ اَدْخِلْنِیْ الْجَنَّۃَ بِرَحْمَتِکَ
Allahumma adkhilniil jannata berahmateka
O Allah! place me in Heaven by Your mercy,
وَ اَجِرْنِیْ بِرَحْمَتِکَ مِنَ النَّارِ
wa ajirnii birahmatika minannari
save me, by Your mercy, from the fire,
وَ عَافِنِیْ مِنَ السُّقْمِ
waafinii minnasuqmi
protect me from evil,
وَ اَوْسِعْ عَلَیَّ مِنَ الرِّزْقِ الْحَلاَلِ
waawsia alayya miarrizkil halali
increase for me lawful sustenance,
وَ ادْرَءْ عَنِّیْ شَرَّ فَسَقَۃِ الْجِنِّ وَ الْاِنْسِ
wadra annii sharra fasaqatil jinni walinsi
and save me from the viciousness of the jinn, men,
وَ شَرَّ فَسَقَۃِ الْعَرَبِ وَ الْعَجَمِ
washaraa fasaqatil arabi walajami.
and save me from the viciousness of the Arabs and non-Arabs
