یَا مَوَالِیَّ یَا اَبْنَآئَ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ

ya mawaliyya ya abna'a rasuli allahi

O my masters, sons of the Messenger of Allah,

Permission to Enter- Izn e Dukhool

[00:34.00]

عَبْدُكُمْ وَ ابْنُ اَمَتِكُمُ

`abdukum wabnu amatikum

I—your servant and the son of your maid

[00:38.00]

الذَّلِیْلُ بَیْنَ اَیْدِیْكُمْ

aldhdhalilu bayna aydikum

who stand submissively before you,

[00:42.00]

وَ الْمُضِعَفُ فِیْ عُلُوِّ قَدْرِكُمْ

walmud`ifu fi `uluwwi qadrikum

who is worth nothing in comparison with your elevated esteem,

[00:47.00]

وَ الْمُعْتَرِفُ بِحَقِّكُمْ

walmu`tarifu bihaqqikum

and who admits your right (that is incumbent upon us)—

[00:50.00]

جَآئَكُمْ مُسْتَجِیْراً بِكُمْ

ja'akum mustajiran bikum

have come to you, seeking your shelter,

[00:56.00]

قَاصِدًا اِلٰی حَرَمِكُمْ

qasidan ila haramikum

heading for your sanctuary,

[00:59.00]

مُتَقَرِّبًا اِلٰی مَقَامِكُمْ

mutaqarriban ila maqamikum

seeking nearness to Your statuses,

[01:04.00]

مُتَوَسِّلًا اِلَی اللّٰهِ تَعَالٰی بِكُمْ

mutawassilan ila allahi ta`ala bikum

and beseeching Allah in your names.

[01:08.00]

ئَاَدْخُلُ یَا مَوَالِیَّ

a'adkhulu ya mawaliyya

May I enter, O my masters?

[01:13.00]

ئَاَدْخُلُ یَا اَوْلِیَآئَ اللّٰهِ

a'adkhulu ya awliya'a allahi

May I enter, O intimate servants of Allah?

[01:16.00]

ئَاَدْخُلُ یَا مَلَآئِكَۃَ اللّٰهِ الْمُحْدِقِیْنَ بِهٰذَا الْحَرَمِ

a'adkhulu ya mala'ikata allahi almuhdiqina bihadha alharami

May I enter, O Allah’s angels who surround this sanctuary

[01:24.00]

الْمُقِیْمِیْنَ بِهٰذَا الْمَشْهَدِ۔

almuqimina bihadha almashhadi

and reside in this shrine?

[01:35.00]

اَللّٰهُ اَكْبَرُ كَبِیْراً

allahu akbaru kabiran

Allah is greatly the Greatest.

After you attain reverence, submission, and tenderheartedness, you may enter the shrine with your right foot, and say the following:

[01:39.00]

وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ كَثِیْرًا

walhamdu lillahi kathiran

All praise be to Allah abundantly.

[01:44.00]

وَ سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ بُكْرَۃً وَّ اَصِیْلًا

wa subhana allahi bukratan wa asilan

Glory be to Allah in morns and eves.

[01:50.00]

وَ الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الْفَرْدِ الصَّمَدِ

walhamdu lillahi alfardi alssamadi

All praise be to Allah, the Single, the Absolute,

[01:55.00]

الْمَاجِدِ الْاَحَدِ

almajidi al-ahadi

the Glorious, the One and Only,

[01:58.00]

الْمُتَفَضِّلِ الْمَنَّانِ

almutafaddili almannani

the All-obliging, the All-benefactor,

[02:01.00]

الْمُتَطَوِّلِ الْحَنَّانِ

almutatawwili alhannani

the Donor, the All-compassionate,

[02:04.00]

الَّذِیْ مَنَّ بِطَوْلِهٖ

alladhi manna bitawlihi

Who conferred (upon us) with His bequests,

[02:08.00]

وَ سَهَّلَ زِیَارَۃَ سَادَاتِیْ بِاِحْسَانِهٖ

wa sahhala ziyarata sadati bi'ihsanihi

Who has made easy for me to visit my masters out of His beneficence,

[02:14.00]

وَ لَمْ یَجْعَلْنِیْ عَنْ زِیَارَتِهِمْ مَمْنُوْعًا

wa lam yaj`alni `an ziyaratihim mamnu`an

Who has not included me with those who are prevented from visiting them;

[02:22.00]

بَلْ تَطَوَّلَ وَ مَنَحَ

bal tatawwala wa manaha

rather, He has bestowed upon me and donated me (this favor).

[02:28.00]

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ اَئِمَّۃَ الْهُدٰی

alssalamu `alaykum a'immata alhuda

Peace be upon you, O Leaders of true guidance.

[02:42.00]

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ اَھْلَ التَّقْوٰی

alssalamu `alaykum ahla alttaqwa

Peace be upon you, O people of piety.

[02:48.00]

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ اَیُّهَا الْحُجَجُ عَلٰی اَھْلِ الدُّنْیَا

alssalamu `alaykum ayyuha alhujaju `ala ahli alddunya

Peace be upon you, O Arguments against the inhabitants of this world.

[02:56.00]

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ اَیُّهَا الْقُوَّامُ فِیْ الْبَرِیَّۃِ بِالْقِسْطِ

alssalamu `alaykum ayyuha alquwwamu fi albariyyati bilqisti

Peace be upon you, O maintainers of justice on people.

[03:04.00]

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ اَھْلَ الصَّفْوَۃِ

alssalamu `alaykum ahla alssafwati

Peace be upon you, O choicest people.

[03:11.00]

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ اٰلَ رَسُوْلِ اللّٰهِ

alssalamu `alaykum ala rasuli allahi

Peace be upon you, O members of the Household of Allah’s Messenger.

[03:18.00]

اَلسَّلَامُ عَلَیْكُمْ اَھْلَ النَّجْوٰی

alssalamu `alaykum ahla alnnajwa

Peace be upon you, O people of confidential talks (of the angels).

[03:22.00]

اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكُمْ قَدْ بَلَّغْتُمْ وَ نَصَحْتُمْ

ashhadu annakum qad ballaghtum wa nasahtum

I bear witness that you did convey, offer advice,

[03:29.00]

وَ صَبَرْتُمْ فِیْ ذَاتِ اللّٰهِ

wa sabartum fi dhati allahi

endure for the sake of Allah,

[03:34.00]

وَ كُذِّبْتُمْ وَ اُسِیْٓئَ اِلَیْكُمْ فَغَفَرْتُمْ

wa kudhdhibtum wa usi'a ilaykum faghafartum

and forgive when you were belied and maltreated.

[03:42.00]

وَ اَشْهَدُ اَنَّكُمُ الْاَئِمَّۃُ الرَّاشِدُوْنَ الْمُهْتَدُوْنَ

wa ashhadu annakumu al-a'immatu alrrashiduna almuhtaduna

I also bear witness that you are the orthodox, well-guided Leaders,

[03:49.00]

وَ اَنَّ طَاعَتَكُمْ مَفْرُوْضَۃٌ

wa anna ta`atakum mafrudatun

that the obedience to you is obligatory,

[03:55.00]

وَ اَنَّ قَوْلَكُمُ الصِّدْقُ

wa anna qawlakumu alssidqu

that your words are true,

[03:58.00]

وَ اَنَّكُمْ دَعَوْتُمْ فَلَمْ تُجَابُوْا

wa annakum da`awtum falam tujabu

that you had called (to Allah) but you were not answered,

[04:03.00]

وَ اَمَرْتُمْ فَلَمْ تُطَاعُوْا

wa amartum falam tuta`u

that you had enjoined (the right) but you were not obeyed,

[04:07.00]

وَ اَنَّكُمْ دَعَآئِمُ الدِّیْنِ وَ اَرْكَانُ الْاَرْضِ

wa annakum da`a'imu alddini wa arkanu al-ardi

and that you are the supports of the religion and the poses of the earth.

[04:15.00]

لَمْ تَزَالُوْ بِعَیْنِ اللّٰهِ

lam tazalu bi`ayni allahi

You were always under the sight of Allah

[04:21.00]

یَنْسَخُكُمْ مِنْ اَصْلَابِ كُلِّ مُطَهَّرٍ

yansakhukum min aslabi kulli mutahharin

Who moved you from the loins of purified men

[04:28.00]

وَ یَنْقُلَكُمْ مِنْ اَرْحَامِ الْمُطَهَّرَاتِ

wa yanqulukum min arhami almutahharati

to the wombs of purified women.

[04:34.00]

لَمْ تُدَنِّسْكُمْ الْجَاهِلِیَّۃُ الْجُهْلَآئُ

lam tudanniskumu aljahiliyyatu aljahla'u

The benighted ignorance could not stain you

[04:40.00]

وَ لَمْ تَشْرَكْ فِیْكُمْ فِتَنُ الْاَهْوَآئِ

wa lam tashrak fikum fitanu al-ahwa'i

and the whimsical sedition could not attract you.

[04:47.00]

طِبْتُمْ وَ طَابَ مَنْبَتُكُمْ

tibtum wa taba manbatukum

Pleased be you as your origin has been pleased.

[04:54.00]

مَنَّ بِكُمْ عَلَیْنَا دَیَّانُ الدِّیْنِ

manna bikum `alayna dayyanu alddini

The King of the religion has conferred upon us with the grace of our acknowledgment of you;

[05:00.00]

فَجَعَلَكُمْ فِیْ بُیُوْتٍ

faja`alakum fi buyutin

He therefore caused you to be in houses

[05:03.00]

اَذِنَ اللّٰهُ اَنْ تُرْفَعَ

adhina allahu an turfa`a

which He (i.e. Allah) has permitted to be exalted

[05:06.00]

وَ یُذْكَرَ فِیْهَا اسْمُهٗ

wa yudhkara fiha ismuhu

and that His Name may be mentioned therein,

[05:09.00]

وَ جَعَلَ صَلٰوتَنَا عَلَیْكُمْ

wa ja`ala salatana `alaykum

and He has decided our invocations of blessings upon you

[05:18.00]

رَحْمَۃً لَنَا وَ كَفَّارَۃً لِذُنُوْبِنَا

rahmatan lana wa kaffaratan lidhunubina

to be mercy on us and to be granting remission of our sins.

[05:25.00]

اِذِ اخْتَارَكُمُ اللّٰهُ لَنَا

idhi ikhtarakumu allahu lana

Allah has chosen you for us

[05:30.00]

وَ طَیَّبَ خَلْقَنَا بِمَا مَنَّ عَلَیْنَا مِنْ وِلَایَتِكُمْ

wa tayyaba khalqana bima manna `alayna min wilayatikum

and has purified our creation through the grace of our loyalty to your (Divinely commissioned) Leadership with which He has conferred upon us.

[05:36.00]

وَ كُنَّا عِنْدَهٗ مُسَمِّیْنَ بِعِلْمِكُمْ

wa kunna `indahu musammina bi`ilmikum

We have thus become nominated with Him due to our acknowledgement of you

[05:45.00]

مُعْتَرِفِیْنَ بِتَصْدِیْقِنَا اِیَّاكُمْ

mu`tarifina bitasdiqina iyyakum

and our giving credence to you.

[05:51.00]

وَ هٰذَا مَقَامُ مَنْ اَسْرَفَ وَ اَخْطَاَ

wa hadha maqamu man asrafa wa akhta'a

So, this is the situation of him who has committed mistakes and sins,

[05:56.00]

وَ اسْتَكَانَ وَ اَقَرَّ بِمَا جَنٰی

wastakana wa aqarra bima jana

shown submission (to you), and confessed of what he had committed.

[06:00.00]

وَ رَجٰی بِمَقَامِهِ الْخَلَاصَ

wa raja bimaqamihi alkhalasa

Hence, being in this situation, I hope for redemption

[06:05.00]

وَ اَنْ یَسْتَنْقِذَهٗ بِكُمْ مُسْتَنْقِذُ الْهَلْكٰی مِنَ الرَّدٰی

wa an yastanqidhahu bikum

and I hope that the Savior of the perishing ones from perdition may save me in your names.

[06:10.00]

فَكُوْنُوْا لِیْ شُفَعَآئَ

mustanqidhu alhalka min alrrada

So, (please) be my interceders,

[06:13.00]

فَقَدْ وَفَدْتُ اِلَیْكُمْ

fakunu li shufa`a'a

for I have come to you

[06:17.00]

اِذْ رَغِبَ عَنْكُمْ اَھْلُ الدُّنْیَا

faqad wafadtu ilaykum

when the people of this world abandoned you,

[06:20.00]

وَ اتَّخَذُوْا اٰیَاتِ اللّٰهِ هُزُوًا

idh raghiba `ankum ahlu alddunya

took the Signs of Allah for a jest,

[06:25.00]

وَ اسْتَكْبَرُوْا عَنْهَا

wattakhadhu ayati allahi huzwan

and turned away from them haughtily.

[06:30.00]

یَا مَنْ هُوَ قَآئِمٌ لَا یَسْهُوْ

ya man huwa qa'imun la yashu

O He Who is Self-Subsisting and never forgets,

[06:40.00]

وَ دَآئِمٌ لَا یَلْهُوْ

wa da'imun la yalhu

Who is Ever-living and never becomes heedless,

[06:44.00]

وَ مُحِیْطٌبِكُلِّ شَیْئٍ

wa muhitun bikulli shay'in

and Who encompasses all things!

[06:48.00]

لَكَ الْمَنُّ بِمَا وَفَّقْتَنِیْ

laka almannu bima waffaqtani

To You is all gratitude for that You have guided me (to this)

[06:52.00]

وَ عَرَّفْتَنِیْ بِمَا اَقَمْتَنِیْ عَلَیْهِ

wa `arraftani bima aqamtani `alayhi

and You have introduced to me that on which I rest,

[06:58.00]

اِذْ صَدَّ عَنْهُ عِبَادُكَ

idh sadda `anhu `ibaduka

when Your servants diverted from it,

[06:.00]

وَ جَهِلُوْا مَعْرِفَتَهٗ

wa jahilu ma`rifatahu

ignored the recognition of it,

[07:05.00]

وَ اسْتَخَفُّوْا بِحَقِّهٖ

wastakhaffu bihaqqihi

belittled its right,

[07:09.00]

وَ مَالُوْا اِلٰی سِوَاهُ

wa malu ila siwahu

and inclined to elsewhere.

[07:16.00]

فَكَانَتِ الْمِنَّۃُ مِنْكَ عَلَیَّ

fakanat alminnatu minka `alayya

Hence, You have conferred upon me with this favor

[07:20.00]

مَعَ اَقْوَامٍ خَصَصْتَهُمْ بِمَا خَصَصْتَنِیْ بِهٖ

ma`a aqwamin khasastahum bima khasastani bihi

as well as upon other people whom You have granted exclusively the same.

[07:27.00]

فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ اِذْ كُنْتُ عِنْدَكَ

falaka alhamdu idh kuntu `indaka

So, all praise be to You, for I have been

[07:33.00]

فِیْ مَقَامِیْ هٰذَا مَذْكُوْرًا مَكْتُوْبًا

fi maqami hadha madhkuran maktuban

mentioned and written with You due to the situation in which I am now.

[07:40.00]

فَلَا تُحَرِّمْنِیْ مَا رَجَوْتُ

fala tahrimni ma rajawtu

Hence, (please) do not deprive me of what I long for,

[07:45.00]

وَ لَا تُخَیِّبْنِیْ فِیْمَا دَعَوْتُ

wa la tukhayyibni fi ma da`awtu

and do not disappoint me as regards my supplication;

[07:50.00]

بِحُرْمَۃِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِهِ الطَّاهِرِیْنَ

bihurmati muhammadin wa alihi alttahirina

(please do so) in the name of the sanctity of Muhammad and his immaculate Household.

[07:56.00]

وَ صَلَّی اللّٰهُ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ۔

wa salla allahu `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

May Allah send blessings upon Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad.

[08:03.00]

You may now pray Almighty Allah for anything you want.In Tahdhib al-Ahkam, Shaykh al-Tusi says: You may then offer the Ziyarah Prayer (salat al-ziyarah) in eight units; each two units are for one of the (four) Imams Shaykh al-Tusi and Sayyid Ibn Tawus say that if you want to bid farewell to the four Imams, you may say the following:
