بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ وَ بِاللّٰہِ

Bismillahi wabillahi

I commence by the name of Allah and seek help from Him.

اَللّٰہُمَّ اجْعَلْہُ لِیْ نُوْرًا وَ طَہُوْرًا وَ حِرْزًا وَ اَمْنًا

Allahummajalhu lii nuran watahuran wahirzan wa-amnan

O Allah render this ghusl an illumination for me and that it may purify me, protect me

مِنْ کُلِّ خَوْفٍ وَ شِفَآءً مِنْ کُلِّ دَآءٍ وَ سُقْمٍ

min kulle khawfin wa sheffain min kulle daain wa-suqmin

from all fears and be a cure for all ills.

اَللّٰہُمَّ طَہِّرْنِیْ وَ طَہِّرْ لِیْ قَلْبِیْ وَ اشْرَحْ لِیْ صَدْرِیْ

Allahumma tahhirnii watahir li qalbii wa shrahlii sadrii

O Allah! Purify me and my heart, broaden my chest

وَ اَجْرِ عَلٰی لِسَانِیْ مَحَبَّتَکَ وَ مِدْحَتَکَ

waajri alaa lisaanii mahabbataka wa midhataka

and that my tongue may utter words of love, adoration

وَ الثَّنَآء عَلَیْکَ فَاِنَّہٗ لاَ قُوَّۃً لِیْ اِلاَّ بِکَ

wassanaaa alaika fainnahu laa quwwata lii illa bika

and praise for You as there is no strength for me but You

وَ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ اَنَّ قِوَامَ دِیْنِیْ التَّسْلِیْمُ لِاَمْرِکَ

waqad alimtu annaqiwaama diinii altasliimu laka amrek

and I know that my religion is submission to You

وَ الْاِتِّبَاعُ لِسُنَّۃِ نَبِیِّکَ صَلَوَاتُکَ عَلَیْہِ وَ آلِہٖ

walittibaau lisunnati nabiyyika salawaatuka alaihi waalihi.

and following the practices of Your prophet, may Your peace be on him.

When wearing the two unstiched clothes of Ehram(Men) recite this dua :

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ رَزَقَنِیْ مَا اُوَارِیْ بِہٖ عَوْرَتِیْ

Al-hamdulillahi-lazi razaqani ma uwarii bihi awratii

All praise to Allah who has graced me with clothes to cover my body,

وَ اُؤَدِّیْ فِیْہِ فَرْضِیْ وَ اَعْبُدُ فِیْہِ رَبِّیْ

wauaddii fihi farzii wa-aabudu fihi rabii

perform my duties, worship my Sustainer

وَ اَنْتَہِیْ فِیْہِ اِلٰی مَا اَمَرَنِیْ

waanatahi fihi ilaa maa amaranii.

and reach where He has commanded me.

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلہِ الَّذِیْ قَصَدْتُہٗ فَبَلَّغَنِیْ

Alhamdulillahi lazii kasadtuhu fabaighnii

All praise be to Allah who, when I directed my course towards Him,

وَ اَرِدْتُہٗ فَاَعَانَنِیْ وَ قَبِلَنِیْ وَ لَمْ یَقْطَعْ بِیْ

waaradtu faa-ananii waqabilanii walam yakta bi

reached me; when I directed my intentions towards Him, assisted me, drew me closer and did not shatter me;

وَ وَجْہَہٗ اَرَدْتُ فَسَلَّمَنِیْ فَہُوَ حِصْنِیْ

wawajhahu aradtu fasallamanii fahuwa hisnii

when I sought His pleasure, granted me peace.

وَ کَہْفِیْ وَ حِرْزِیْ وَ ظَہْرِیْ وَ مَلاَذِیْ وَ رَجَآئِیْ

wakahfii wahirzii wazahrii wamalazii warajaii

He is my fort, refuge, protector, support, hope,

وَ مَنْجَایَ وَ ذُخْرِیْ وَ عُدَّتِیْ فِیْ شِدَّتِیْ وَ رَخَآئِیْ

wamanjaya wadhukri wauddatii fiishiddatii warakhaaii.

salvation, saviour and my provider in times of hardship and comfort.
