The verse of the Messenger of Allah

[00:00.00]

Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayat 285-286
These verses carry immense reward when recited, and they describe the conversation that took place between Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Allah during the night of Mi'raj. The virtue of reciting both these ayat especially after Isha prayer is greatly enhanced.
Benefits After Isha Prayer
Reciting both ayat after Isha prayer is equivalent to staying awake the entire night in worship of Allah. All religious and worldly needs of the reciter are fulfilled, and Satan cannot approach him, among other blessings.

(285) Āmanar-rasūlu bimā unzila ilayhi mir-rabbihi wal-mu’minūn. Kullun āmanabillāhi wa malā’ikatihi wa kutubihi wa rusulih. Lā nufarriqu bayna aḥadin mir-rusulih. Wa qālū saminā wa aṭa‘nā. Ghufrānaka rabbanā wa ilaykal-maṣīr.

(285) The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination."

(286) Lā yukallifu Llāhu nafsan illā wus‘ahā. Lahā mā kasabat wa ‘alayhā maktasabat. Rabbanā lā tu’ākhidhnā in-nasīnā aw akhṭa’nā. Rabbanā wa lā taḥmil ‘alaynā iṣran kamā ḥamaltahu ‘alalladhīna min qablinā. Rabbanā wa lā tuḥammilnā mā lā ṭāqata lanā bihi. Wa‘fu ‘annā waghfir lanā warḥamnā. Anta mawlānā fansurnā ‘alal-qawmil-kāfirīn.

(286) Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear. It gets [the reward for] what [good] it has earned, and it bears [the punishment for] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and do not lay upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and do not burden us with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us, and forgive us, and have mercy upon us. You are our Protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."
