بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

[00:00.02]

عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُوْنَ‌ۚ‏﴿1﴾‏

1.'Amma Yatasaa-aloon

1.What is it that they are questioning each other about?!

[00:06.00]

عَ%نِ النَّ%بَاِ الْعَظِيْمِۙ‏﴿2﴾‏

2.'Anin-nabaa-il 'azeem

2.[Is it] about the Great Tiding,

[00:11.00]

الَّذِىْ هُمْ فِيْهِ مُخْتَلِفُوْنَؕ‏﴿3﴾‏

3.Allazi hum feehi mukh talifoon

3.the one about which they differ?

[00:17.00]

كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُوْنَۙ‏﴿4﴾‏

4.Kallaa sa y'alamoon

4.No indeed! Soon they will know!

[00:21.00]

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُوْنَ‏﴿5﴾‏

5.Thumma kallaa sa y'alamoon

5.No indeed! Soon they will know for once again!

[00:27.00]

اَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْاَرْضَ مِهٰ@دًا@ ۙ‏﴿6﴾‏

6.Alam naj'alil arda mihaa da

6.Did We not make the earth a resting place?

[00:31.00]

@وَّ@الْجِبَالَ اَوْتَا@دًا@۪ ۙ‏﴿7﴾

7.Wal jibaala au taada

7.and the mountains stakes?

[00:35.00]

@وَّ@خَلَقْنٰكُمْ اَزْوَا@جًا@ ۙ‏﴿8﴾

8.Wa khalaq naakum azwaaja

8.and create you in pairs?

[00:39.00]

@وَّ@جَعَلْنَا نَوْمَكُمْ سُبَا@تًا@ ۙ‏﴿9﴾‏

9.Waja'alnan naumakum subata

9.and make your sleep for rest?

[00:44.00]

@وَّ@جَعَلْنَا الَّيْلَ لِبَا@سًا@ ۙ‏﴿10﴾‏

10.Waja'alnal laila libasa

10.and make the night a covering?

[00:48.00]

@وَّ@جَعَلْ%نَا النَّ%هَارَ مَعَا@شًا@۪ ‏﴿11﴾‏

11.Waja'alnan nahara ma 'aasha

11.and make the day for livelihood?

[00:53.00]

@وَّ@بَنَيْنَا فَوْقَكُمْ سَبْ#عًا شِ#دَا@دًا@ ۙ‏﴿12﴾‏

12.Wa banaina fauqakum sab 'an shi daada

12.and build above you the seven mighty heavens?

[00:59.00]

@وَّ@ جَعَلْنَا سِرَا@جًا وَّ@هَّا@جًا@۪ ۙ‏﴿13﴾

13.Waja'alna siraajaw wah haaja

13.and make [the sun for] a radiant lamp?

[01:05.00]

@وَّ@اَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ الْمُعْصِرٰتِ مَآ#ءً ثَ#جَّاجًا ۙ‏﴿14﴾

14.Wa anzalna minal m'usiraati maa-an saj-jaaja

14.and send down water pouring from the rain-clouds,

[01:14.00]

لِّنُخْرِجَ بِهٖ حَ@بًّا وَّ@نَبَا@تًا@ ۙ‏﴿15﴾‏

15.Linukh rija bihee habbaw wana baata

15.that We may bring forth with it grains and plants,

[01:19.00]

@وَّ@جَنّٰتٍ اَلْفَافًا ؕ‏﴿16﴾

16.Wa jan naatin alfafa

16.and luxuriant gardens?

[01:24.00]

اِنَّ يَوْمَ الْفَصْلِ كَانَ مِيْقَا@تًا@ ۙ‏﴿17﴾‏

17.Inna yaumal-fasli kana miqaata

17.Indeed the Day of Judgement is the tryst,

[01:29.00]

@يَّ@وْمَ يُنْفَخُ فِى الصُّوْرِ فَتَاْتُوْنَ اَفْوَا@جًا@ ۙ‏﴿18﴾

18.Yauma yun fakhu fis-soori fataa toona afwaaja

18.the day the Trumpet will be blown, and you will come in groups,

@وَّ@فُتِحَتِ السَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ اَبْوَا@بًا@ ۙ‏﴿19﴾‏

19.Wa futiha tis samaa-u fakaanat abwaaba

19.and the sky will be opened and become gates,

[01:43.00]

@وَّ@ سُيِّرَتِ الْجِبَالُ فَكَانَتْ سَرَابًا ؕ‏﴿20﴾

20.Wa suyyi raatil jibaalu fa kaanat saraaba

20.and the mountains will be set moving and become a mirage.

[01:49.00]

اِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتْ مِرْصَادًا۪ ۙ‏﴿21﴾‏

21.Inna jahan nama kaanat mirsaada

21.Indeed hell is in ambush,

[01:55.00]

لِّلطّٰغِيْنَ مَاٰبًا ۙ‏﴿22﴾‏

22.Lit taa gheena ma aaba

22.a resort for the rebels,

[01:59.00]

لّٰبِثِيْنَ فِيْهَاۤ اَحْقَابًا‌ ۚ‏﴿23﴾‏

23.Laa bitheena feehaa ahqaaba

23.to reside therein for ages,

[02:04.00]

لَا يَذُوْقُوْنَ فِيْهَا بَرْ@دًا وَّ@لَا شَرَابًا ۙ‏﴿24﴾‏

24.Laa ya zooqoona feeha bar daw walaa sharaaba

24.tasting in it neither any coolness nor drink,

[02:12.00]

اِلَّا حَمِيْ@مًا وَّ@غَسَّا#قًا# ۙ‏﴿25﴾‏

25.Illa hamee maw-wa ghas saaqa

25.except boiling water and pus,

[02:17.00]

#جَ#زَآءً وِّفَاقًا ؕ‏﴿26﴾‏

26.Jazaa-aw wi faaqa

26.a fitting requital.

[02:22.00]

اِنَّهُمْ كَانُوْا لَا يَرْجُوْنَ حِسَا@بًا@ ۙ‏﴿27﴾‏

27.Innahum kaanu laa yarjoona hisaaba

27.Indeed they did not expect any reckoning,

[02:28.00]

@وَّ@كَذَّبُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا كِذَّا@بًا@ ؕ‏﴿28﴾‏

28.Wa kazzabu bi aayaa tina kizzaba

28.and they denied Our signs mendaciously,

[02:33.00]

@وَ@كُلَّ شَىْءٍ اَحْصَيْنٰهُ كِتٰ#بًا# ۙ‏﴿29﴾‏

29.Wa kulla shai-in ahsai naahu kitaa ba

29.and We have figured everything in a Book.

[02:39.00]

#فَ#ذُوْقُوْا فَلَنْ نَّزِيْدَكُمْ اِلَّا عَذَابًا۠ ‏‏﴿30﴾

30.Fa zooqoo falan-nazee dakum ill-laa azaaba

30.So [now] taste! We shall increase you in nothing but punishment!

[02:47.00]

اِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ مَفَازًا ۙ‏﴿31﴾‏

31.Inna lil mutta qeena mafaaza

31.Indeed a triumph awaits the Godwary:

[02:52.00]

حَدَآئِقَ وَاَعْنَا@بًا@ ۙ‏﴿32﴾‏

32.Hadaa-iqa wa a'anaa ba

32.gardens and vineyards,

[02:56.00]

@وَّ@كَوَاعِبَ اَتْرَا@بًا@ ۙ‏﴿33﴾‏

33.Wa kaawa 'iba at raaba

33.and buxom maidens of a like age,

[02:59.00]

@وَّ@كَاْ#سًا دِ#هَاقًا ؕ‏﴿34﴾‏

34.Wa ka'san di haaqa

34.and brimming cups.

[03:03.00]

لَا يَسْمَعُوْنَ فِيْهَا لَغْ@وًا وَّ@لَا كِذّٰ#بًا#‌ ۚ‏﴿35﴾‏

35.Laa yasma'oona fiha lagh waw walaa kizzaba

35.Therein they shall hear neither vain talk nor lies

[03:10.00]

#جَ#زَآءً مِّنْ رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَابًا ۙ‏﴿36﴾‏

36.Jazaa-am mir-rabbika ataa-an hisaaba

36.—a reward and a sufficing bounty from your Lord,

[03:19.00]

رَّبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا الرَّحْمٰنِ‌ لَا يَمْلِكُوْنَ مِنْهُ خِطَا@بًا@‌ ۚ‏﴿37﴾‏

37.Rabbis samaa waati wal ardi wa maa baina humar rahmaani laa yam likoona minhu khi taaba

37.the All-beneficent, the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. They will not be able to address Him

[03:32.00]

@يَ@وْمَ يَقُوْمُ الرُّوْحُ وَالْمَلٰٓئِكَةُ صَفًّا ؕۙۗ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُوْنَ اِلَّا مَنْ اَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحْمٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَا#بًا#‌‏﴿38﴾‏

38.Yauma yaqoo mur roohu wal malaa-ikatu saf-fal laa yata kalla moona illa man azina lahur rahmaanu wa qaala sawaaba

38.on the day when the Spirit and the angels stand in an array: none shall speak except someone who is permitted by the All-beneficent and says what is rightful.

[03:52.00]

#ذٰ#لِكَ الْيَوْمُ الْحَ*قُّ*‌ ۚ فَمَنْ شَآءَ اتَّخَذَ اِلٰى رَبِّهٖ مَاٰبًا‏﴿39﴾‏

39.Zaalikal yaumul haqqu faman shaa-at ta khaaza ill-laa rabbihi ma-aaba

39.That day is true for certain. So let anyone who wishes take resort with his Lord.

اِنَّاۤ اَنْذَرْنٰكُمْ عَذَا#بًا قَ#رِيْ@بًا@ ۖۚ۬   @يَّ@وْمَ يَنْظُرُ الْمَرْءُ مَا قَدَّمَتْ يَدٰهُ وَيَقُوْلُ الْكٰفِرُ يٰلَيْتَنِىْ كُنْتُ تُرٰبًا۠ ‏‏﴿40﴾‏

40.In naa anzar naakum azaaban qareebaiy-yauma yan zurul marr-u maa qaddamat yadaahu wa ya qoolul-kaafiru yaa lai tanee kuntu turaaba

40.Indeed We have warned you of a punishment near at hand—the day when a person will observe what his hands have sent ahead and the faithless one will say, ‘I wish I were dust!’
