بِسْمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

[00:00.02]

قٓۚ وَالْقُرْاٰنِ الْمَجِيْدِۚ‏﴿1﴾‏

1.Qaaaf; wal Qur aanil Majeed

1.Qaf. By the glorious Quran.

[00:10.00]

بَلْ عَجِبُوْۤا اَنْ جَآءَهُمْ مُّنْذِرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فَقَالَ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ هٰذَا شَىْءٌ عَجِيْبٌ‌ۚ‏﴿2﴾‏

2.Bal 'ajibooo an jaa'ahum munzirum minhum faqaalal kaafiroona haazaa shai'un 'ajeeb

2.Indeed they consider it odd that a warner from among themselves should have come to them. So the faithless say, ‘This is an odd thing.’

ءَاِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا ‌ۚ ذٰلِكَ رَجْعٌ ۢ بَعِيْدٌ‏﴿3﴾‏

3.'A-izaa mitnaa wa kunnaa turaaban zaalika raj'um ba'eed

3.‘What! When we are dead and have become dust, [shall we be raised again]? That is a far-fetched return!’

قَدْ عَلِمْنَا مَا تَنْقُصُ الْاَرْضُ مِنْهُمْ‌ۚ وَعِنْدَنَا كِتٰبٌ حَفِيْظٌ‏﴿4﴾‏

4.Qad 'alimnaa maa tanqu-sul-ardu minhum wa 'indanaa Kitaabun Hafeez

4.We know what the earth diminishes from them, and with Us is a preserving Book.

بَلْ كَذَّبُوْا بِالْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ فَهُمْ فِیْۤ اَمْرٍ مَّرِيْجٍ‏﴿5﴾‏

5.Bal kazzaboo bilhaqqi lammaa jaaa'ahum fahum feee amrim mareej

5.Indeed, they denied the truth when it came to them; so they are now in a perplexed state of affairs.

[01:06.00]

ا فَلَمْ يَنْظُرُوْۤا اِلَى السَّمَآءِ فَوْقَهُمْ كَيْفَ بَنَيْنٰهَا وَزَ يَّنّٰهَا وَمَا لَهَا مِنْ فُرُوْجٍ‏﴿6﴾‏

6.Afalam yanzurooo ilas samaaa'i fawqahum kaifa banainaahaa wa zaiyannaahaa wa maa lahaa min furooj

6.Have they not, then, observed the heaven above them, how We have built it and adorned it, and that there are no cracks in it?

[01:24.00]

وَالْاَرْضَ مَدَدْنٰهَا وَاَ لْقَيْنَا فِيْهَا رَوَاسِىَ وَاَنْۢبَتْنَا فِيْهَا مِنْ كُلِّ زَوْجٍۢ بَهِيْجٍ ۙ‏﴿7﴾‏

7.Wal arda madadnaahaa wa alqainaa feehaa rawaasiya wa ambatnaa feehaa min kulli zawjim baheej

7.And We spread out the earth, and cast in it firm mountains, and caused every delightful kind [of vegetation] to grow in it.

[01:40.00]

تَبْصِرَةً وَّذِكْرٰى لِكُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُّنِيْبٍ‏﴿8﴾‏

8.Tabsiratanw wa zikraa likulli 'abdim muneeb

8.[In this there is] an insight and admonition for every penitent servant.

[01:49.00]

وَنَزَّلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَآءِ مَآءً مُّبٰرَكًا فَاَنْۢبَتْنَا بِهٖ جَنّٰتٍ وَّحَبَّ الْحَصِيْدِ ۙ‏﴿9﴾‏

9.Wa nazzalnaa minas samaaa'i maaa'am mubaarakan fa ambatnaa bihee jannaatinw wa habbal haseed

9.We send down from the sky salubrious water, with which We grow gardens and the grain which is harvested,

[02:09.00]

وَالنَّخْلَ بٰسِقٰتٍ لَّهَا طَلْعٌ نَّضِيْدٌ ۙ‏﴿10﴾‏

10.Wannakhla baasiqaatil laha tal'un nadeed

10.and tall date palms with regularly set spathes,

[02:18.00]

رِّزْقًا لِّلْعِبَادِ‌ ۙ وَاَحْيَيْنَا بِهٖ بَلْدَةً مَّيْتًا‌ ؕ كَذٰلِكَ الْخُرُوْجُ‏﴿11﴾‏

11.Rizqal lil'ibaad, wa ahyainaa bihee baldatam maitaa; kazaalikal khurooj

11.as a provision for Our servants, and with it We revive a dead country. Likewise will be the rising [from the dead].

[02:32.00]

كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوْحٍ وَّاَصْحٰبُ الرَّسِّ وَثَمُوْدُۙ‏﴿12﴾‏

12.Kazzabat qablahum qawmu Noohinw wa Ashaabur Rassi wa Samood

12.The people of Noah denied before them, and [so did] the people of Rass and Thamud,

[02:42.00]

وَعَادٌ وَّفِرْعَوْنُ وَاِخْوَانُ لُوْطٍۙ‏﴿13﴾‏

13.Wa 'Aadunw wa Fir'awnu wikhwaanu loot

13.and ‘Ad, Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot,

[02:49.00]

وَّاَصْحٰبُ الْاَيْكَةِ وَقَوْمُ تُبَّعٍ‌ؕ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ الرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِيْدِ‏﴿14﴾‏

14.Wa Ashaabul Aykati wa qawmu Tubba'; kullun kazzabar Rusula fahaqqa wa'eed

14.and the inhabitants of Aykah and the people of Tubbac. Each [of them] impugned the apostles, and so My threat became due [against them].

[03:01.00]

اَفَعَيِيْنَا بِالْخَلْقِ الْاَوَّلِ‌ؕ بَلْ هُمْ فِیْ لَبْسٍ مِّنْ خَلْقٍ جَدِيْدٍ۠ ‏‏﴿15﴾‏

15.Afa'a yeenaa bilkhalqil awwal; bal hum fee labsim min khalqin jadeed

15.Have We been exhausted by the first creation? No, they are in doubt about a new creation.

[03:14.00]

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْاِنْسَانَ وَنَعْلَمُ مَا تُوَسْوِسُ بِهٖ نَفْسُهٗ ۖۚ وَنَحْنُ اَقْرَبُ اِلَيْهِ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِيْدِ‏﴿16﴾‏

16.Wa laqad khalaqnal insaana wa na'lamu maa tuwaswisu bihee nafsuhoo wa Nahnu aqrabu ilaihi min hablil wareed

16.Certainly We have created man and We know to what his soul tempts him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein.

[03:30.00]

اِذْ يَتَلَقَّى الْمُتَلَقِّيٰنِ عَنِ الْيَمِيْنِ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ قَعِيْدٌ‏﴿17﴾‏

17.'Iz yatalaqqal mutalaqqi yaani 'anil yameeni wa 'anish shimaali qa'eed

17.When the twin recorders record [his deeds], seated on the right hand and on the left:

[03:40.00]

مَا يَلْفِظُ مِنْ قَوْلٍ اِلَّا لَدَيْهِ رَقِيْبٌ عَتِيْدٌ‏﴿18﴾‏

18.Maa yalfizu min qawlin illaa ladaihi raqeebun 'ateed

18.he says no word but that there is a ready observer beside him.

[03:50.00]

وَ جَآءَتْ سَكْرَةُ الْمَوْتِ بِالْحَقِّ‌ؕ ذٰلِكَ مَا كُنْتَ مِنْهُ تَحِيْدُ‏﴿19﴾‏

19.Wa jaaa'at kullu nafsim ma'ahaa saaa'iqunw wa shaheed

19.The throes of death bring the truth: ‘This is what you used to shun!’

[04:03.00]

وَنُفِخَ فِى الصُّوْرِ ‌ؕ ذٰلِكَ يَوْمُ الْوَعِيْدِ‏﴿20﴾‏

20.Wa nufikha fis Soor; zaalika yawmul wa'eed

20.And the Trumpet will be blown: ‘This is the promised day.’

[04:13.00]

وَجَآءَتْ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مَّعَهَا سَآئِقٌ وَّشَهِيْدٌ‏﴿21﴾‏

21.Wa jaaa'at kullu nafsim ma'ahaa saaa'iqunw wa shaheed

21.Every soul will come accompanied by [two angels], a driver, and a witness:

[04:26.00]

لَقَدْ كُنْتَ فِیْ غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هٰذَا فَكَشَفْنَا عَنْكَ غِطَآءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ الْيَوْمَ حَدِيْدٌ‏﴿22﴾‏

22.Laqad kunta fee ghaf latim min haazaa fakashafnaa 'anka ghitaaa'aka fabasarukal yawma hadeed

22.[he will be told] ‘You were certainly oblivious of this. We have removed your veil from you, and so today your eyesight is acute.’

[04:43.00]

وَقَالَ قَرِيْنُهٗ هٰذَا مَا لَدَىَّ عَتِيْدٌ ؕ‏﴿23﴾‏

23.Wa qaala qareenuhoo haazaa maa ladaiya 'ateed

23.Then his companion [angel] will say, ‘This is what is ready with me [of his record of deeds].’

[04:51.00]

اَلْقِيَا فِیْ جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيْدٍۙ‏﴿24﴾‏

24.Alqiyaa fee Jahannama kulla kaffaarin 'aneed

24.[The two angels accompany him will be told,] ‘Cast every obdurate ingrate into hell,

[05:00.00]

مَّنَّاعٍ لِّلْخَيْرِ مُعْتَدٍ مُّرِيْبِ ۙ‏﴿25﴾‏

25.Mannaa'il lilkhayri mu'tadim mureeb

25.[every] hinderer of good, transgressor, and skeptic,

[05:09.00]

۟الَّذِىْ جَعَلَ مَعَ اللّٰهِ اِلٰهًا اٰخَرَ فَاَ لْقِيٰهُ فِى الْعَذَابِ الشَّدِيْدِ‏﴿26﴾‏

26.Allazee ja'ala ma'al laahi ilaahan aakhara fa alqiyaahu fil'azaabish shadeed

26.who had set up another god along with Allah and cast him into the severe punishment.’

[05:20.00]

قَالَ قَرِيْنُهٗ رَبَّنَا مَاۤ اَطْغَيْتُهٗ وَلٰكِنْ كَانَ فِیْ ضَلٰلٍۢ بَعِيْدٍ‏﴿27﴾‏

27.Qaala qareenuhoo Rabbanaa maaa atghaituhoo wa laakin kaana fee dalaahim ba'eed

27.His companion [devil] will say, ‘Our Lord! I did not incite him to rebel [against You], but he was [himself] in extreme error.’

[05:36.00]

قَالَ لَا تَخْتَصِمُوْا لَدَىَّ وَقَدْ قَدَّمْتُ اِلَيْكُمْ بِالْوَعِيْدِ‏﴿28﴾‏

28.Qaala laa takhtasimoo ladaayya wa qad qaddamtu ilaikum bilwa'eed

28.He will say, ‘Do not wrangle in My presence, for I had already warned you in advance.

[05:47.00]

مَا يُبَدَّلُ الْقَوْلُ لَدَىَّ وَمَاۤ اَنَا بِظَلَّامٍ لِّلْعَبِيْدِ۠ ‏‏﴿29﴾‏

29.Maa yubaddalul qawlu ladaiya wa maaa ana bizal laamil lil'abeed

29.The word [of judgement] is unalterable with Me, and I am not tyrannical to My servants.’

[05:59.50]

يَوْمَ نَقُوْلُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ امْتَلَئْتِ وَتَقُوْلُ هَلْ مِنْ مَّزِيْدٍ‏﴿30﴾‏

30.Yawma naqoolu li'jahannama halim talaati wa taqoolu hal mim mazeed

30.The day when We shall say to hell, ‘Are you full?’ It will say, ‘Is there any more?’

[06:12.00]

وَاُزْلِفَتِ الْجَنَّةُ لِلْمُتَّقِيْنَ غَيْرَ بَعِيْدٍ‏﴿31﴾‏

31.Wa uzlifatil jannatu lil muttaqeena ghaira ba'eed

31.And paradise will be brought near for the Godwary, it will not be distant [any more]:

[06:21.00]

هٰذَا مَا تُوْعَدُوْنَ لِكُلِّ اَوَّابٍ حَفِيْظٍ‌ۚ‏﴿32﴾‏

32.Haaza maa too'adoona likulli awwaabin hafeez

32.‘This is what you were promised. [It is] for every penitent and dutiful [servant]

[06:30.00]

مَنْ خَشِىَ الرَّحْمٰنَ بِالْغَيْبِ وَجَآءَ بِقَلْبٍ مُّنِيْبِۙ‏﴿33﴾‏

33.Man khashiyar Rahmaana bilghaibi wa jaaa'a biqalbim muneeb

33.who fears the All-beneficent in secret and comes with a penitent heart.

[06:41.00]

۟ادْخُلُوْهَا بِسَلٰمٍ‌ؕ ذٰلِكَ يَوْمُ الْخُلُوْدِ‏﴿34﴾‏

34.Udkhuloohaa bisalaamin zaalika yawmul khulood

34.Enter it in peace! This is the day of immortality.’

[06:51.00]

لَهُمْ مَّا يَشَآءُوْنَ فِيْهَا وَلَدَيْنَا مَزِيْدٌ‏﴿35﴾‏

35.Lahum maa yashaaa'oona feehaa wa ladainaa mazed

35.There they will have whatever they wish, and with Us there is yet more.

[07:02.00]

وَكَمْ اَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُمْ مِّنْ قَرْنٍ هُمْ اَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوْا فِى الْبِلَادِ ؕ هَلْ مِنْ مَّحِيْصٍ‏﴿36﴾‏

36.Wa kam ahlaknaa qablahum min qarnin hum ashaddu minhum batshan fanaqqaboo fil bilaad, hal mim mahees

36.How many generations We have destroyed before them, who were stronger than these, insomuch that they ransacked the towns?! So, is there any escape [from Allah’s punishment]?

[07:20.00]

اِنَّ فِیْ ذٰلِكَ لَذِكْرٰى لِمَنْ كَانَ لَهٗ قَلْبٌ اَوْ اَلْقَى السَّمْعَ وَهُوَ شَهِيْدٌ‏﴿37﴾‏

37.Inna fee zaalika lazikraa liman kaana lahoo qalbun aw alqas sam'a wa huwa shaheed

37.There is indeed an admonition in that for one who has a heart, or gives ear, being attentive.

[07:35.00]

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا فِیْ سِتَّةِ اَيَّامٍ‌ۖۗ وَّمَا مَسَّنَا مِنْ لُّغُوْبٍ‏﴿38﴾‏

38.Wa laqad khalaqnas samaawaati wal arda wa maa bainahumaa fee sittati ayyaamin wa maa massanaa mil lughoob

38.Certainly We created the heavens and the earth, and whatever is between them, in six days, and any fatigue did not touch Us.

[07:50.00]

فَاصْبِرْ عَلٰى مَا يَقُوْلُوْنَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ قَبْلَ طُلُوْعِ الشَّمْسِ وَقَبْلَ الْغُرُوْبِ‌ۚ‏﴿39﴾‏

39.Fasbir 'alaa maa yaqooloona wa sabbih bihamdi Rabbika qabla tuloo'ish shamsi wa qablal ghuroob

39.So be patient at what they say, and celebrate the praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the sunset,

[08:04.00]

وَمِنَ الَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَاَدْبَارَ السُّجُوْدِ‏﴿40﴾‏

40.Wa minal laili fasabbih hu wa adbaaras sujood

40.and glorify Him through part of the night and after the prostrations.

[08:12.00]

وَاسْتَمِعْ يَوْمَ يُنَادِ الْمُنَادِ مِنْ مَّكَانٍ قَرِيْبٍۙ‏﴿41﴾‏

41.Wastami' yawma yunaa dil munaadi mim makaanin qareeb

41.And be on the alert for the day when the caller calls from a close quarter,

[08:23.00]

يَوْمَ يَسْمَعُوْنَ الصَّيْحَةَ بِالْحَقِّ‌ ؕ ذٰلِكَ يَوْمُ الْخُرُوْجِ‏﴿42﴾‏

42.Yawma yasmaoonas sai hata bilhaqq zaalika yawmul khurooj

42.the day when they hear the Cry in all truth. That is the day of rising [from the dead].

[08:33.00]

اِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْىٖ وَنُمِيْتُ وَاِلَيْنَا الْمَصِيْرُۙ‏﴿43﴾‏

43.Innaa Nahnu nuhyee wa numeetu wa ilainal maseer

43.Indeed it is We who give life and bring death, and toward Us is the [final] destination.

[08:41.00]

يَوْمَ تَشَقَّقُ الْاَرْضُ عَنْهُمْ سِرَاعًا‌ ؕ ذٰلِكَ حَشْرٌ عَلَيْنَا يَسِيْرٌ‏﴿44﴾‏

44.Yawma tashaqqaqul ardu 'anhum siraa'aa; zaalika hashrun 'alainaa yaseer

44.The day the earth is split open for [disentombing] them, [they will come out] hastening. That mustering is easy for Us [to carry out].

[08:52.00]

نَحْنُ اَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَقُوْلُوْنَ‌ وَمَاۤ اَنْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِجَبَّارٍ‌ فَذَكِّرْ بِالْقُرْاٰنِ مَنْ يَّخَافُ وَعِيْدِ۠ ‏‏﴿45﴾‏

45.Nahnu a'lamu bimaa yaqooloona wa maaa anta 'alihim bijabbaarin fazakkir bil quraani many yakhaafu wa'eed

45.We know well what they say, and you are not there to compel them. So admonish by the Quran those who fear My threat.
