Before reciting Holy Quran
[00:00.01]
Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.
[00:00.02]
1.Allazeena kafaroo wa saddoo'an sabeelil laahi adalla a'maalahum
1.Those who are [themselves] faithless and bar [others] from the way of Allah—He has rendered their works fruitless.
[00:08.00]
2.Wallazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati wa aamanoo bimaa nuzzila 'alaa Muhammadinw-wa huwal haqqu mir Rabbihim kaffara 'anhum saiyiaatihim wa aslaha baalahum
2.But those who have faith and do righteous deeds and believe in what has been sent down to Muhammad—and it is the truth from their Lord—He shall absolve them of their misdeeds and set right their affairs.
[00:28.00]
3.Zaalika bi annal lazeena kafarut taba'ul baatila wa annal lazeena aamanut taba'ul haqqa mir Rabbihim; kazaalika yadribul laahu linnaasi amsaalahum
3.That is because the faithless follow falsehood, and the faithful follow the truth from their Lord. That is how Allah draws comparisons for mankind.
[00:47.00]
4.Fa-izaa laqeetumul lazeena kafaroo fadarbar riqaab, hattaaa izaa askhan tumoohum fashuddul wasaaq, fa immaa mannnam ba'du wa immaa fidaaa'an hattaa tada'al harbu awzaarahaa; zaalika wa law yashaaa'ul laahu lantasara minhum wa laakil laiyabluwa ba'dakum biba'd; wallazeena qutiloo fee sabeelil laahi falany yudilla a'maalahum
4.When you meet the faithless in battle, strike their necks. When you have thoroughly decimated them, bind the captives firmly. Thereafter either oblige them [by setting them free] or take ransom, until the war lays down its burdens. That [is Allah’s ordinance]. Had Allah wished He could have taken vengeance on them, but that He may test some of you by means of others. As for those who were slain in the way of Allah, He will not let their works go fruitless.
[01:37.00]
5.Sa-yahdeehim wa yusihu baalahum
5.He will guide them and set right their affairs,
[01:41.00]
6.Wa yudkhiluhumul jannata 'arrafahaa lahum
6.and admit them into paradise, with which He has acquainted them.
[01:47.00]
7.Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanooo in tansurul laaha yansurkum wa yusabbit aqdaamakum
7.O you who have faith! If you help Allah, He will help you and make your feet steady.
[02:03.00]
8.Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanooo in tansurul laaha yansurkum wa yusabbit aqdaamakum
8.As for the faithless, their lot will be to fall [into ruin], and He will render their works fruitless.
[02:10.00]
9.Zaalika bi annahum karihoo maaa anzalal laahu faahbata a'maalahum
9.That is because they loathed what Allah has sent down, so He made their works fail.
[02:21.00]
10.Afalam yaseeroo fil ardi fayanzuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul lazeena min qablihim; dammaral laahu 'alaihim wa lilkaafireena amsaaluhaa
10.Have they not travelled through the land so that they may observe how was the fate of those who were before them? Allah destroyed them, and a similar [fate] awaits these faithless.
[02:41.00]
11.Zaalika bi annal laaha mawlal lazeena aamanoo wa annal kaafireena laa mawlaa lahum
11.That is because Allah is the protector of the faithful, and because the faithless have no protector.
[02:53.00]
12.Innal-laaha yudkhilul lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati Jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru wallazeena kafaroo yatamatta'oona wa yaakuloona kamaa taakuluian'aamu wan Naaru maswallahum
12.Indeed Allah will admit those who have faith and do righteous deeds into gardens with streams running in them. As for the faithless, they enjoy and eat like the cattle do, and the Fire will be their [final] abode.
[03:21.00]
13.Wa ka ayyim min qaryatin hiya ashaddu quwwatam min qaryatikal lateee akhrajatka ahlaknaahum falaa naasira lahum
13.How many a town We have destroyed which was more powerful than your town which expelled you, and they had no helper.
[03:40.00]
14.Afaman kaana 'alaa baiyinatim mir Rabbihee kaman zuyyina lahoo sooo'u 'amalihee wattaba'ooo ahwaaa'ahum
14.Is he who stands on a manifest proof from his Lord like those to whom the evil of their conduct is made to seem decorous and who follow their desires?
[03:59.00]

15.A description of the paradise promised to the Godwary: therein are streams of unstaling water and streams of milk unchanging in flavour, and streams of wine delicious to the drinkers, and streams of purified honey; there will be every kind of fruit in it for them, and forgiveness from their Lord. [Are such ones] like those who abide in the Fire and are given to drink boiling water which cuts up their bowels?
[05:04.00]

16.There are some among them who prick up their ears at you. But when they go out from your presence, they say to those who have been given knowledge, ‘What did he say just now?’ They are the ones on whose hearts Allah has set a seal, and they follow their own desires.
[05:36.00]
17.Wallazeenah tadaw zaadahum hudanw wa aataahum taqwaahum
17.As for those who are [rightly] guided, He enhances their guidance and invests them with their Godwariness.
[05:45.00]

19.Know that there is no god except Allah, and plead [to Allah] for forgiveness of your sin and for the faithful, men and women. Allah knows your itinerary and your [final] abode.
[06:30.00]

20.The faithful say, ‘If only a surah were sent down!’ But when a conclusive surah is sent down and war is mentioned in it, you see those in whose hearts is a sickness looking upon you with the look of someone fainting at death. So woe to them!
[07:03.00]
21.Taa'atunw wa qawlum ma'roof; fa izaa 'azamal amru falaw sadaqul laaha lakaana khairal lahum
21.Obedience and upright speech.... So when the matter has been resolved upon [concerning going to war], if they remain true to Allah that will surely be better for them.
[07:18.00]
22.Fahal 'asaitum in tawallaitum an tufsidoo fil ardi wa tuqatti'ooo arhaamakum
22.May it not be that if you were to wield authority you would cause corruption in the land and ill-treat your blood relations?
[07:31.00]

23.Ulaaa'ikal lazeena la'anahumul laahu fa asammahum wa a'maaa absaarahum
23.They are the ones whom Allah has cursed, so He made them deaf, and blinded their sight.

[08:17.00]

26.That is because they said to those who loathed what Allah had sent down: ‘We shall obey you in some matters,’ and Allah knows their secret dealings.
[08:33.00]
27.Fakaifa izaa tawaffat humul malaaa'ikatu yadriboona wujoohahum wa adbaa rahum
27.But how will it be [with them] when the angels take them away, striking their faces and their backs?!
[08:44.00]
28.Zaalika bi annahumut taba'oo maaa askhatal laaha wa karihoo ridwaanahoo fa ahbata a'maalahum
28.That, because they pursued what displeased Allah, and loathed His pleasure. So He has made their works fail.
[08:58.00]
29.Am hasibal lazeena fee quloobihim maradun al lan yukhrijal laahu adghaanahum
29.Do those in whose hearts is a sickness suppose that Allah will not expose their spite?
[09:09.00]

30.If We wish, We will show them to you so that you recognize them by their mark. Yet you will recognize them by their tone of speech, and Allah knows your deeds.
[09:30.00]
31.We will surely test you until We ascertain those of you who wage jihad and those who are steadfast, and We shall appraise your record.
[09:43.00]

32.Indeed those who are faithless and bar from the way of Allah and defy the Apostle after guidance has become clear to them, they will not hurt Allah in the least, and He shall make their works fail.
[10:12.00]

33.O you who have faith! Obey Allah and obey the Apostle, and do not render your works void.
[10:27.00]

35.So do not slacken and [do not] call for peace when you have the upper hand and Allah is with you, and He will not stint [the reward of] your works.
[10:57.00]

36.The life of the world is just play and diversion, but if you are faithful and Godwary, He will give you your rewards, and will not ask your wealth [in return] from you.
[11:15.00]
37.Iny yas'alkumoohaa fa yuhfikum tabkhaloo wa yukhrij adghaanakum
37.Should He ask it from you and press you, you will be stingy, and He will expose your spite.
[11:24.00]

38.Ah! There you are, being invited to spend in the way of Allah; yet among you there are those who are stingy; and whoever is stingy is stingy only to himself. Allah is the All-sufficient, and you are all-needy, and if you turn away He will replace you with another people, and they will not be like you.
