[00:35.00]

4.It is Allah who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days, then He settled on the Throne. You do not have besides Him any guardian or intercessor. Will you not then take admonition?

[01:00.00]

7.Allazee ahsana kulla shai in khalaqa; wa bada a khalqal insaani min teen

7.who perfected everything that He created and commenced man’s creation from clay.

9.Thumma sawwaahu wa nafakha feehi mir roohihih; wa ja'ala lakumus sam'a wal-absaara wal-af'idah; taqaleelam maa tashkuroon

9.Then He proportioned him and breathed into him of His Spirit, and made for you hearing, sight, and hearts. Little do you thank.

[02:04.00]

10.Wa qaalooo 'a-izaa dalalnaa fil ardi 'a-innaa lafee khalqin jadeed; bal hum biliqaaa'i rabbihim kaafirroon

10.They say, ‘When we have been lost in the dust, shall we be indeed created anew?’ Indeed, they disbelieve in the encounter with their Lord.

[02:22.00]

12.Wa law taraaa izil mujrimoona naakisoo ru'oosihim 'inda rabbihim rabbanaaa absarnaa wa sami'naa farji'naa na'mal saalihan innaa mooqinoon

12.Were you to see when the guilty hang their heads before their Lord [confessing], ‘Our Lord! We have seen and heard. Send us back so that we may act righteously. Indeed we are [now] convinced.’

[02:56.00]

14.Fazooqoo bimaa naseetum liqaaa'a yawminkum haaza innaa naseenaakum wa zooqoo 'azaabal khuldi bimaa kuntum ta'maloon

14.So taste [the punishment] for your having forgotten the encounter of this day of yours. We [too] have forgotten you. Taste the everlasting punishment because of what you used to do.

[03:36.00]

15.Innamaa yu'minu bi aayaatinal lazeena izaa zukkiroo bihaa kharroo sujjadanw wa sabbahoo bihamdi rabbihim wa hum laa yastakbiroon

15.Only those believe in Our signs who, when they are reminded of them, fall down in prostration and celebrate the praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant.

(It is obligatory to prostrate on this Ayah)

[03:58.00]

16.Tatajaafaa junoobuhum 'anil madaaji'i yad'oona rabbahum khawfanw wa tama'anw wa mimmaa razaqnaahum yunfiqoon

16.Their sides vacate their beds to supplicate their Lord in fear and hope, and they spend out of what We have provided them.

[04:14.00]

17.Falaa ta'lamu nafsum maaa ukhfiya lahum min qurrati a'yunin jazaaa'am bimaa kaanoo ya'maloon

17.No one knows what delights have been kept hidden for them [in the Hereafter] as a reward for what they used to do.

[04:31.00]

18.Afaman kaana mu'minan kaman kaana faasiqaa; laa yasta woon

18.Is someone who is faithful like someone who is a transgressor? They are not equal.

[04:41.00]

19.Ammal lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati falahum jannaatul maawa nuzulam bimaa kaanoo ya'maloon

19.As for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, for them will be the gardens of the Abode—a hospitality for what they used to do.

[04:58.00]

20.Wa ammal lazeena fasaqoo famaawaahumn Naaru kullamaaa araadooo any yakhrujoo minhaaa u'eedoo feehaa wa qeela lahum zooqoo 'zaaaban Naaril lazee kuntum bihee tukazziboon

20.As for those who have transgressed, their refuge will be the Fire. Whenever they seek to leave it, they will be turned back into it and told: ‘Taste the punishment of the Fire which you used to deny.’

[05:30.00]

21.We shall surely make them taste the nearer punishment prior to the greater punishment, so that they may come back.

[05:43.00]

22.Wa man azlamu mimman zukkira bi aayaati rabbihee summa a'rada 'anhaa; innaa minal mujrimeena muntaqimmon

22.Who is a greater wrongdoer than him who is reminded of his Lord’s signs, whereat he disregards them? Indeed, We shall take vengeance upon the guilty.

[06:01.00]

23.Wa laqad aayainaa Moosal Kitaaba falaa takun fee miryatim mil liqaaa'ihee wa ja'alnaahu hudal li Baneee Israaa'eel

23.Certainly We gave Moses the Book, [declaring], ‘Do not be in doubt about the encounter with Him,’ and We made it a [source of] guidance for the Children of Israel.

[06:20.00]

24.Wa ja'alnaa minhum a'immatany yahdoona bi amrinaa lammaa sabaroo wa kaanoo bi aayaatinaa yooqinoon

24.When they had been patient and had conviction in Our signs, We appointed amongst them imams to guide [the people] by Our command.

[06:34.00]

25.Inna rabbaka huwa yafsilu bainahum yawmal qiyaamati feemaa kaanoo feehi yakhtalifoon

25.Indeed your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that about which they used to differ.

[06:44.00]

26.Awalam yahdi lahum kam ahlaknaa min qablihim minal qurooni yamshoona fee zaalika la aayaatin afalaa yasma'oon

26.Does it not dawn upon them how many generations We have destroyed before them, amid [the ruins of] whose dwellings they walk? There are indeed signs in that. Will they not then listen?

[07:04.00]

27.Awalam yaraw annaa nasooqul maaa'a ilal lardil juruzi fanukhriju bihee zar'an taakulu minhu an'aamuhum wa anfusuhum afalaa yubsiroon

27.Do they not see that We carry water to the parched earth and with it We bring forth crops, from which they eat, themselves and their cattle? Will they not then see?

[07:25.00]

28.Wa yaqooloona mataa haazal fat hu in kuntum saadiqeen

28.They say, ‘When will this judgement be, if you are truthful?’

[07:34.00]

29.Qul yawmal fat hi laa yanfa'ul lazeena kafarooo eemaanuhum wa laa hum yunzaroon

29.Say, ‘On the day of judgement their [newly found] faith will not avail the faithless, nor will they be granted any respite.’

[07:46.00]

30.Fa a'rid 'anhum wantazir innahum muntazirron

30.So turn away from them, and wait. They too are waiting.
