[00:00.02]

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

[00:00.03]

1.Yaaa ayyuhan naasuttaqoo Rabbakum; inna zalzalatas Saa'ati shai'un 'azeem

1.O mankind! Be wary of your Lord! Indeed the quake of the Hour is a terrible thing.

[00:13.00]

2.Yawma tarawnahaa tazhalu kullu murdi'atin 'ammaaa arda'at wa tada'u kullu zaati hamlin hamlahaa wa tarannaasa sukaaraa wa maa hum bisukaaraa wa lakinaa 'azaabal laahi shadeed

2.The day that you will see it, every suckling female will be unmindful what she suckled, and every pregnant female will deliver her burden, and you will see the people drunk, yet they will not be drunken, but Allah’s punishment is severe.

[00:43.00]

3.Wa minan naasi mai yujaadilu fil laahi bighairi 'ilminw wa yattabi'u kullaa shaitaanim mareed

3.Among the people are those who dispute about Allah without any knowledge, and follow every froward devil,

[00:56.00]

4.Kutiba 'alaihi annahoo man tawallaahu fa annahoo yudil lauhoo wa yahdeehi ilaa 'azaabis sa'eer

4.about whom it has been decreed that he will mislead those who take him for an ally, and conduct them toward the punishment of the Blaze.

[01:11.00]

5.Yaaa ayyuhan naasu in kuntum fee raibim minal ba'si fa innaa khalaqnaakum min turaabin summa min nutfatin summaa min 'alaqatin summa mim mud ghatim mukhal laqatinw wa ghairi mukhalla qatil linubaiyina lakum; wa nuqirru fil arhaami maa nashaaa'u ilaaa ajalim musam man summa nukhrijukum tiflan summa litablughooo ashud dakum wa minkum mai yutawaffa wa minkum mai yuraddu ilaaa arzalil 'umuri likailaa ya'lama mim ba'di 'ilmin shai'aa; wa taral arda haamidatan fa izaaa anzalnaa 'alaihal maaa'ah tazzat wa rabat wa ambatat min kulli zawjim baheej

5.O people! If you are in doubt about the resurrection, [consider that] We created you from dust, then from a drop of [seminal] fluid, then from a clinging mass, then from a fleshy tissue, partly formed and partly unformed, so that We may manifest [Our power] to you. We lodge in the wombs whatever [fetus] We wish for a specified term, then We bring you forth as infants, then [We rear you] so that you may come of age. [Then] there are some of you who are taken away, and there are some of you who are relegated to the nethermost age, such that he knows nothing after [having possessed] some knowledge. And you see the earth torpid, yet when We send down water upon it, it stirs and swells, and grows every delightful kind [of plant].

[03:04.00]

6.Zaalika bi annal laaha Huwal haqqu wa annahoo yuhyil mawtaa wa annahoo 'alaakulli shai'in Qadeer

6.All that is because Allah is the Reality and it is He who revives the dead, and He has power over all things,

[03:19.00]

7.Wa annas Saa'ata aatiya tul laa raiba feeha wa annal laaha yab'asuman fil quboor

7.and because the Hour is bound to come, there is no doubt in it, and Allah will resurrect those who are in the graves.

[03:33.00]

8.Wa minan naasi mai yujaadilu fil laahi bighairi 'ilminw wa laa hudanw wa laa Kitaabim Muneer

8.Among the people are those who dispute concerning Allah without any knowledge or guidance, or an enlightening Book,

[03:48.00]

9.Saaniya 'itfihee liyudilla 'an sabeelil laahi lahoo fiddun yaa khizyunw wa nuzeequhoo Yawmal Qiyaamati 'azaabal lhareeq

9.turning aside disdainfully to lead [others] astray from the way of Allah. For such there is disgrace in this world, and on the Day of Resurrection We will make him taste the punishment of the burning:

[04:06.00]

10.Zaalika bimaa qaddamat yadaaka wa annal laaha laisa bizallaamil lil'abeed

10.‘That is because of what your hands have sent ahead, and because Allah is not tyrannical to the servants.’

[04:18.00]

11.Wa minan naasi mai ya'budul laaha 'alaa harfin fa in asaabahoo khairunit maanna bihee wa in asaabat hu fitnatunin qalaba 'alaa wajhihee khasirad dunyaa wal aakhirah; zaalika huwal khusraanul mubeen

11.And among the people are those who worship Allah on the [very] fringe: if good fortune befalls him, he is content with it; but if an ordeal visits him he makes a turnabout, to become a loser in the world and the Hereafter. That is manifest loss.

[04:45.00]

12.Yad'oo min doonil laahi maa laa yadurruhoo wa maa laa yanfa'uh' zaalika huwad dalaalul ba'ed

12.He invokes besides Allah that which can bring him neither benefit nor harm. That is extreme error.

[04:59.00]

13.Yad'oo laman darruhooo aqrabu min naf'ih; labi'salmawlaa wa labi'sal 'asheer

13.He invokes someone whose harm is surely likelier than his benefit. An evil ally indeed, and an evil companion!

[05:14.00]

14.Innal laaha yudkhilul laeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaar; innal laaha yaf'alu maa yureed

14.Allah will indeed admit those who have faith and do righteous deeds into gardens with streams running in them. Indeed Allah does whatever He desires.

[05:35.00]

15.Man kaana yazunnu allai yansurahul laahu fid dunyaa wal aakhirati fal yamdud bisababin ilas samaaa'i summal yaqta' falyanzur hal yuzhibanna kaiduhoo maa yagheez

15.Whoever thinks that Allah will not help him in this world and the Hereafter, let him stretch a rope to the ceiling and hang himself, and see if his artifice would remove his rage.

[06:08.00]

16.Wa kazaalika anzalnaahu aayaatim baiyinaatinw wa annal laaha yahdee mai yureed

16.Thus have We sent it down as manifest signs, and indeed Allah guides whomever He desires.

[06:22.00]

17.Innal lazeena aamanoo wallazeena haadoo was saabi'eena wan nasaaraa wal Majoosa wallazeena ashrakooo innal laaha yafsilu bainahum yawmal qiyaamah; innal laaha 'alaa kulli shai'in shaheed

17.Indeed Allah will indeed judge between the faithful, the Jews, the Sabaeans, the Christians, the Magians and the polytheists on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed Allah is witness to all things.

[06:50.00]

18.Alam tara annal laaha yasjudu lahoo man fis samaawaati wa man fil ardi wash shamsu walqamaru wan nu joomu wal jibaalu wash shajaru wad dawaaabbu wa kaseerum minan naasi wa kaseerun haqqa 'alaihil 'azaab; wa mai yuhinil laahu famaa lahoo mim mukrim; innallaaha yaf'alu maa yashaaa

18.Have you not regarded that whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth prostrates to Allah, as well as the sun, the moon, and the stars, the mountains, the trees, and the animals and many humans? And many have come to deserve the punishment. Whomever Allah humiliates will find no one who may bring him honour. Indeed Allah does whatever He wishes.

[07:37.00]

19.Haazaani khasmaanikh tasamoo fee Rabbihim fal lazeena kafaroo qutti'at lahum siyaabum min naar; yusabbu min fawqi ru'oosihimul hameem

19.These two contending groups contend concerning their Lord. As for those who are faithless, cloaks of fire will be cut out for them, and boiling water will be poured over their heads,

[07:59.00]

20.Yusharu bihee maa fee butoonihim waljulood

20.with which their skins and entrails will fuse,

[08:06.00]

21.Wa lahum maqaami'u min hadeed

21.and there will be clubs of iron for them.

[08:12.00]

22.Kullamaa araadooo any yakhrujoo minhaa min ghammin u'eedoo feeha wa zooqoo 'azaabal hareeq

22.Whenever they desire to leave it out of anguish, they will be turned back into it [and told]: ‘Taste the punishment of the burning!’

[08:32.00]

23.Innal laaha yudkhilul lazeena aamanoo wa 'amilus saalihaati jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru yuhallawna feehaa min asaawira min zahabinw wa lu'lu'aa; wa libaasuhum feehaa hareer

23.Indeed Allah will admit those who have faith and do righteous deeds into gardens with streams running in them, adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their dress therein will be silk.

[09:08.00]

24.Wa hudooo ilat taiyibi minal qawli wa hudooo ilaaa siraatil hameed

24.They were guided to chaste belief, and guided to the path of the All-laudable.

[09:22.00]

25.Innal lazeena kafaroo wa yasuddoona 'an sabeelil laahi wal Masjidil Haraamil lazee ja'alnaahu linnaasi sawaaa'anil 'aakifu feehi walbaad; wa mai yurid feehi bi ilhaadim bizulmin nuziqhu min 'azaabin aleem

25.Indeed those who are faithless and bar from the way of Allah and the Sacred Mosque, which We have made for all people, the native and the visitor being equal therein—whoever wrongfully tries to commit violation in it, We shall make him taste a painful punishment.

[10:03.00]

26.Wa iz bawwaanaa li Ibraaheema makaanal Baiti allaa tushrik bee shai'anw wa tahhir Baitiya litaaa'ifeena walqaaa' imeena warrukka 'is sujood

26.When We settled for Abraham the site of the House [saying], Do not ascribe any partners to Me, and purify My House for those who circle around it, and those who stand [in it for prayer], and those who bow and prostrate themselves.

[10:27.00]

27.Wa azzin fin naasi bil Hajji yaatooka rijaalanw wa 'alaa kulli daamiriny yaateena min kulli fajjin 'ameeq

27.And proclaim the Hajj to all the people: they will come to you on foot and on lean camels, coming from distant places,

[10:43.00]

28.Li yashhadoo manaafi'a lahum wa yazkurus mal laahi feee ayyaamimma'loomaatin 'alaa maa razaqahum mim baheematil an'aami fakuloo minhaa wa at'imul baaa'isal faqeer

28.that they may witness the benefits for them, and mention Allah’s Name during the known days over the livestock He has provided them. So eat thereof and feed the destitute and the needy.

[11:14.00]

29.Summal yaqdoo tafasahum wal yoofoo nuzoorahum wal yattawwafoo bil Baitil 'Ateeq

29.Then let them do away with their untidiness, fulfill their vows, and circle around the Ancient House.

[11:26.00]

30.Zaalika wa mai yu'azzim hurumaatil laahi fahuwa khairul lahoo 'inda Rabbih; wa uhillat lakumul an'aamu illaa maa yutlaa 'alaikum fajtanibur rijsa minal awsaani wajtaniboo qawlaz zoor

30.That, and whoever venerates the sacraments of Allah, that is better for him with his Lord. You are permitted [animals of] grazing livestock except for what will be recited to you. So avoid the abomination of idols, and avoid false speech,

[11:51.00]

31.Hunafaaa'a lillaahi ghaira mushrikeena bih; wa mai yushrik billaahi faka annamaa kharra minas samaaa'i fatakh tafuhut tairu aw tahwee bihir reehu bee makaanin saheeq

31.as persons having pure faith in Allah, not ascribing partners to Him. Whoever ascribes partners to Allah is as though he had fallen from a height, then [his corpse] is devoured by vultures, or [his remains are] blown away by the wind far and wide.

[12:20.00]

32.Zaalika wa mai yu'azzim sha'aaa'iral laahi fa innahaa min taqwal quloob

32.That. And whoever venerates the sacraments of Allah—indeed that arises from the Godwariness of hearts.

[12:34.00]

33.Lakum feehaa manaafi'u ilaaa ajalim musamman summa mahilluhaaa ilal Baitil 'Ateeq

33.You may benefit from them until a specified time. Then their place of sacrifice is by the Ancient House.

[12:52.00]

34.Wa likulli ummatin ja'alnaa mansakal liyazkurus mal laahi 'alaa maa razaqahum mim baheematil an'aam; failaahukum ilaahunw Waahidun falahooo aslimoo; wa bashshiril mukhbiteen

34.For every nation We have appointed a rite so that they might mention Allah’s Name over the livestock He has provided them. Your God is the One God, so submit to Him. And give good news to the humble

[13:22.00]

35.Allazeena izaa zukiral laahu wajilat quloobuhum wassaabireena 'alaa maaa asaabahum walmuqeemis Salaati wa mimmaa razaqnaahum yunfiqoon

73.Yaaa ayyuhan naasu duriba masalun fastami'oo lah; innal lazeena tad'oona min doonil laahi lai yakhluqoo zubaabanw wa lawijtama'oo lahoo wa iny yaslub humuz zubbabu shai'al laa yastan qizoohu minh; da'ufat taalibu walmatloob

73.O people! Listen to a parable that is being drawn: Indeed those whom you invoke besides Allah will never create [even] a fly even if they all rallied to do so! And if a fly should take away something from them, they can not recover that from it. Feeble is the seeker and the sought!

[27:24.00]

74.Maa qadrul laaha haqqa qadrih; innal laaha la Qawiyyun 'Azeez

74.They do not regard Allah with the regard due to Him. Indeed Allah is all-strong, all-mighty.

[27:35.00]

75.Allahu yastafee minal malaaa'ikati Rusulanw wa minan naas; innal laaha Samee'um Baseer

75.Allah chooses messengers from angels and from mankind. Indeed Allah is all-hearing, all-seeing.

[27:53.00]

76.He knows that which is before them and that which is behind them, and to Allah all matters are returned.

[28:03.00]

77.Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanur ka'oo wasjudoo wa'budoo Rabbakum waf'alul khaira la'allakum tuflihoon

77.O you who have faith! Bow down and prostrate yourselves, and worship your Lord, and do good, so that you may be felicitous.

[28:22.00]

78.Wa jaahidoo fil laahi haqqa jihaadih; Huwaj tabaakum wa maa ja'ala 'alaikum fid deeni min haraj; Millata abeekum Ibraaheem; Huwa sammaakumul muslimeena min qablu wa fee haaza li yakoonar Rasoolu shaheedan 'alaikum wa takoonoo shuhadaaa'a 'alan naas; fa aqeemus salaata wa aatuz zakaata wa'tasimoo billaahi Huwa mawlaakum fani'mal mawlaa wa ni'man naseer

78.And wage jihad for the sake of Allah, a jihad which is worthy of Him. He has chosen you and has not placed for you any obstacle in the religion, the faith of your father, Abraham. He named you ‘Muslims’ before, and in this, so that the Apostle may be a witness to you, and that you may be witnesses to mankind. So maintain the prayer, give the zakat, and hold fast to Allah. He is your master—an excellent master and an excellent helper.
