[00:00.20]

148.Laa yuhibbullaahul jahra bis sooo’i minal qawli illaa man zulim; wa kaanallaahu Samee’an ‘Aleemaa

148.Allah does not like the disclosure of [anyone’s] evil [conduct] in speech except by someone who has been wronged, and Allah is all-hearing, all-knowing.

[00:14.00]

149.in tubdoo khairann aw tukhfoohu aw ta’foo ‘an sooo’in fa innal laaha kaana ‘afuwwan Qadeeraa

149.Whether you disclose a good [deed that you do] or hide it, or excuse an evil [deed], Allah is indeed all-excusing, all-powerful.

[00:28.00]

150.Innal lazeena yakkfuroonabillaahi wa Rusulihee wa yureedoonaai yufarriqoo bainal laahi wa Rusulihee wa yaqooloona nu’minu biba’dinw wa nakfuru biba’dinw wa yureedoona ai yattakhizoo baina zaalika sabeelaa

150.Those who disbelieve in Allah and His apostles and seek to separate Allah from His apostles, and say, ‘We believe in some and disbelieve in some’ and seek to take a way in between

[00:51.00]

151.Ulaaa’ika humul kaafiroona haqqaaw; wa a’tadnaa lilkaafireena ‘azaabam muheenaa

151.—it is they who are truly faithless, and We have prepared for the faithless a humiliating punishment.

[01:01.00]

152.Wallazeena aamanoo billaahi wa Rusulihee wa lam yufarriqoo baina ahadim minhum ulaaa’ika sawfa yu’teehim ujoorahum; wa kaanal laahu Ghafoorar Raheema

152.But those who have faith in Allah and His apostles and make no distinction between any of them—them He will soon give their rewards, and Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.

[01:19.00]

153.yas’aluka Ahlul Kitaabi an tunazzila ‘alaihim Kitaabam minas samaaa’i faqad sa aloo Moosaa akbara min zaalika faqaaloo arinal laaha jahratan fa akhazat humus saa’iqatu bizulmihim; summat takhazul ‘ijla mim ba’di maa jaa’at humul baiyinaatu fa’afawnaa ‘ann zaalik; wa aatainaa Moosaa sultaanam mubeenaa

153.The People of the Book ask you to bring down for them a Book from the sky. Certainly they asked Moses for [something] greater than that, for they said, ‘Show us Allah visibly,’ whereat a thunderbolt seized them for their wrongdoing. Then they took up the Calf [for worship], after all the manifest proofs that had come to them. Yet We excused that, and We gave Moses a manifest authority.

[01:58.00]

154.Wa rafa’naa fawqahumut Toora bimeesaaqihim wa qulnaa lahumud khulul baaba sujjadanw wa qulnaa lahum laa ta’doo fis Sabti wa akhaznaa minhum meesaaqan ghaleezaa

154.And We raised the Mount above them for the sake of their covenant, and We said to them, ‘Enter the gate prostrating’ and We said to them, ‘Do not violate the Sabbath,’ and We took from them a solemn covenant.

[02:16.00]

155.Fabimaa naqdihim meesaaqahum wa kufrihim bi Aayaatil laahi wa qatlihimul Ambiyaaa’a bighairi haqqinw wa qawlihim quloobunaa ghulf; bal taba’al laahu ‘alaihaa bikufrihim falaa yu’minoona illaa qaleelaa

155.Then because of their breaking their covenant, their defiance of Allah’s signs, their killing of the prophets unjustly and for their saying, ‘Our hearts are uncircumcised’… Indeed, Allah has set a seal on them for their unfaith, so they do not have faith except a few.

[02:40.00]

156.Wa bikufrihim wa qawlihim ‘alaa Maryama buh taanan ‘azeema

156.And for their faithlessness, and their uttering a monstrous calumny against Mary,

[02:46.00]

157.Wa qawlihim innaa qatal nal maseeha‘Eesab-na-Maryama Rasoolal laahi wa maa qataloohu wa maa salaboohu wa laakin shubbiha lahum; wa innal lazeenakh talafoo feehee lafee shakkim minh;maa lahum bihee min ‘ilmin illat tibaa’azzann; wa maa qataloohu yaqeenaa

157.and for their saying, ‘We killed the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the apostle of Allah’—though they did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but so it was made to appear to them. Indeed those who differ concerning him are surely in doubt about him: they do not have any knowledge of that beyond following conjectures, and certainly, they did not kill him.

[03:18.00]

158.Bar rafa’ahul laahu ilayh; wa kaanal laahu ‘Azeezan Hakeemaa

158.Indeed, Allah raised him up toward Himself, and Allah is all-mighty, all-wise.

[03:29.00]

159.Wa im min Ahlil Kitaabi illaa layu’minanna bihee qabla mawtihee wa Yawmal Qiyaamati yakoonu ‘alaihim shaheedaa

159.There is none among the People of the Book but will surely believe in him before his death; and on the Day of Resurrection, he will be a witness against them.

[03:40.00]

160.Fabizulmin minal lazeena haadoo harramnaa ‘alaihim taiyibaatin uhillat lahum wa bisadihim ‘an sabeelil laahi kaseeraa

160.Due to the wrongdoing of the Jews, We prohibited them certain good things that were permitted to them [earlier], and for their barring many [people] from the way of Allah,

[03:52.00]

161.Wa akhzihimur ribaa wa qad nuhoo‘anhu wa aklihim amwaalan naasi bilbaatil; wa a’tadnaa lilkaafireena minhum ‘azaaban aleema

161.and for their taking usury—though they had been forbidden from it—and for eating up the wealth of the people wrongfully. And We have prepared for the faithless among them a painful punishment.

[04:04.00]

162.But as for those who are firmly grounded in knowledge from among them, and the faithful, they believe in what has been sent down to you, and what was sent down before you—those who maintain the prayer, give the zakat, and believe in Allah and the Last Day—them We shall give a great reward.

[04:31.00]

163.We have indeed revealed to you as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him, and [as] We revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, Jesus and Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon—and We gave David the Psalms—

[04:58.00]

164.Wa Rusulan qad qasas naahum ‘alaika min qablu wa Rusulal lam naqsushum ‘alaik; wa kallamallaahu Moosaa takleemaa

164.and apostles We have recounted to you earlier and apostles We have not recounted to you—and to Moses Allah spoke directly—

[05:11.00]

165.Rusulam mubashshireena wa munzireena li’allaa yakoona linnaasi ‘alal laahi hujjatum ba’dar Rusul; wa kaanallaahu ‘Azeezan Hakeema

165.apostles, as bearers of good news and warners, so that mankind may not have any argument against Allah, after the [sending of the] apostles; and Allah is all-mighty, all-wise.

[05:25.00]

166.Laakinil laahu yashhadu bimaaa anzala ilaika anzalahoo bi’ilmihee wal malaaa’ikatu yashhadoon; wa kafaa billaahi Shaheeda

166.But Allah bears witness to what He has sent down to you—He sent it down with His knowledge—and the angels bear witness [too], and Allah quite suffices as witness.

[05:39.00]

167.Innal lazeena kafaroo wa saddoo ‘an sabeelil laahi qad dalloo dalaalam ba’eedaa

167.Indeed those who are faithless and bar [others] from the way of Allah, have certainly strayed into far error.

[05:50.00]

168.Innal lazeenakafaroo wa zalamoo lam yakunillaahu liyaghfira lahum wa laa liyahdiyahum tareeqaa

168.Indeed those who are faithless and do wrong, Allah shall never forgive them, nor shall He guide them to any way,

[05:59.00]

169.Illaa tareeqa jahannamma khaalideena feehaa abadaa; wa kaana zaalika ‘alal laahi yaseeraa

169.except the way to hell, to remain in it forever, and that is easy for Allah.

[06:10.00]

170.Yaaa aiyuhan naasu qad jaaa’akumur Rasoolu bilhaqqi mir Rabbikum fa ammminoo khairal lakum; wa in takfuroo fainnna lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wal ard; wa kaanal laahu ‘Aleemann hakeemaa

170.O mankind! The Apostle has certainly brought you the truth from your Lord. So have faith! That is better for you. And if you are faithless, [you should know that] to Allah indeed belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.

[06:34.00]

171.Yaaa Ahlal Kitaabi laa taghloo fee deenikum wa laa taqooloo ‘alal laahi illalhaqq; innamal Maseehu ‘Eesab-nu-Maryama Rasoolul laahi wa Kalimatuhooo alqaahaaa ilaa Maryama wa roohum minhum fa aaminoo billaahi wa Rusulihee wa laa taqooloo salaasah; intahoo khairallakum; innamal laahu Ilaahunw Waahid, Subhaanahooo any yakoona lahoo walad; lahoo maa fissamaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa kafaa billaahi Wakeelaa

171.O People of the Book! Do not exceed the bounds in your religion, and do not attribute anything to Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only an apostle of Allah, and His Word that He cast toward Mary and a spirit from Him. So have faith in Allah and His apostles, and do not say, ‘[God is] a trinity.’ Relinquish [such a creed]! That is better for you. Allah is but the One God. He is far too immaculate to have any son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and Allah suffices as trustee.

[07:17.00]

172.The Messiah would never disdain being a servant of Allah, nor would the angels brought near [to Him]. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant, He will gather them all toward Him.

[07:46.00]

173.Fa ammal lazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaati fa yuwaffeehim ujoorahum wa yazeeduhum min fadlihee wa ammal lazeenas tankafoo wastakbaroo fa yu’azzibuhum ‘azaaban aleema wa laa yajidoona lahum min doonil laahi waliyyanw wa laa naseeraa

173.As for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, He will pay them in full their rewards, and He will enhance them out of His grace. But those who are disdainful and arrogant, He will punish them with a painful punishment, and they will not find besides Allah any guardian or helper.

[08:03.00]

174.Yaa aiyuhan naasu qad jaaa’akum burhaanum mir Rabbikum wa anzalnaaa ilaikum Nooram Mubeena

174.O mankind! Certainly, a proof has come to you from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a manifest light.

[08:25.00]

175.Fa ammal lazeena aamanoo billaahi wa’tasamoo bihee fasa yudkhiluhum fee rahmatim minhu wa fadlinw wa yahdeehim ilaihi Siraatam Mustaqeema

175.As for those who have faith in Allah, and hold fast to Him, He will admit them to His mercy and grace, and He will guide them on a straight path to Him.

[08:40.00]

176.They ask you for a ruling. Say, ‘Allah gives you a ruling concerning the kalalah: If a man dies and has no children [or parents], but has a sister, for her shall be a half of what he leaves, and he shall inherit from her if she has no children. If there be two sisters, then they shall receive two-thirds of what he leaves. But if there be [several] brothers and sisters, then for the male shall be the like of the share of two females. Allah explains [the laws] for you lest you should go astray, and Allah has knowledge of all things.’

I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the accursed

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

1.O you who have faith! Keep your agreements. You are permitted animals of grazing livestock, except what is [now] announced to you, disallowing game while you are in pilgrim sanctity. Indeed Allah decrees whatever He desires.

[10:16.00]

2.O you who have faith! Do not violate Allah’s sacraments, neither the sacred month, nor the offering, nor the necklaces, nor those bound for the Sacred House, who seek their Lord’s grace and [His] pleasure. But when you emerge from pilgrim sanctity, you may hunt for game. Ill feeling for a people should not lead you, because they barred you from [access to] the Sacred Mosque, to transgress. Cooperate in piety and Godwariness, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression, and be wary of Allah. Indeed Allah is severe in retribution.

3.You are prohibited carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, and what has been offered to other than Allah, and the animal strangled or beaten to death, and that which dies by falling or is gored to death, and that which is mangled by a beast of prey—barring that which you may purify —and what is sacrificed on stone altars [to idols], and that you should divide by raffling with arrows. All that is transgression. Today the faithless have despaired of your religion. So do not fear them, but fear Me. Today I have perfected your religion for you, and I have completed My blessing upon you, and I have approved Islam as your religion. But should anyone be compelled by hunger, without inclining to sin, then Allah is indeed all-forgiving, all-merciful.

6.O you who have faith! When you stand up for prayer, wash your faces and your hands up to the elbows, and wipe a part of your heads and your feet, up to the ankles. If you are junub, purify yourselves. But if you are sick, or on a journey, or any of you has come from the toilet, or you have touched women, and you cannot find water, then make tayammum with clean ground and wipe a part of your faces and your hands with it. Allah does not desire to put you to hardship, but He desires to purify you, and to complete His blessing upon you so that you may give thanks.

12.Certainly Allah took a pledge from the Children of Israel, and We raised among them twelve chiefs. And Allah said, ‘I am with you! Surely, if you maintain the prayer and give the zakat and have faith in My apostles and support them and lend Allah a good loan, I will surely absolve you of your misdeeds, and I will surely admit you into gardens with streams running in them. But whoever of you disbelieves after that has certainly strayed from the right way.’

13.Then, because of their breaking their covenant We cursed them and made their hearts hard: they pervert words from their meanings, and have forgotten a part of what they were reminded. You will not cease to learn of some of their treachery, excepting a few of them. Yet excuse them and forbear. Indeed Allah loves the virtuous.

14.Also from those who say, ‘We are Christians,’ We took their pledge; but they forgot a part of what they were reminded. So We stirred up enmity and hatred among them until the Day of Resurrection, and soon Allah will inform them concerning what they had been doing.

17.They are certainly faithless who say, ‘Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary.’ Say, ‘Who can avail anything against Allah should He wish to destroy the Messiah, son of Mary, and his mother, and everyone upon the earth?’ To Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and whatever is between them. He creates whatever He wishes, and Allah has power over all things.

18.The Jews and the Christians say, ‘We are Allah’s children and His beloved ones.’ Say, ‘Then why does He punish you for your sins?’ No, you are humans from among His creatures. He forgives whomever He wishes, and punishes whomever He wishes, and to Allah belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and whatever is between them, and toward Him is the return.

Certainly Our Apostle has come to you, clarifying [the Divine teachings] for you after a gap in [the appearance of] the apostles, lest you should say, ‘There did not come to us any bearer of good news nor any warner.’ Certainly, there has come to you a bearer of good news and a warner. And Allah has power over all things.

32.That is why We decreed for the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, without [its being guilty of] manslaughter or corruption on the earth, is as though he had killed all mankind, and whoever saves a life is as though he had saved all mankind. Our apostles certainly brought them manifest signs, yet even after that, many of them commit excesses on the earth.

[29:04.00]

33.Indeed the requital of those who wage war against Allah and His Apostle, and try to cause corruption on the earth, is that they shall be slain or crucified, or shall have their hands and feet cut off from opposite sides, or be banished from the land. That is a disgrace for them in this world, and in the Hereafter, there is a great punishment for them,

41.O Apostle! Do not grieve for those who are active in [promoting] unfaith, such as those who say, ‘We believe’ with their mouths, but whose hearts have no faith, and the Jews who eavesdrop with the aim of [telling] lies [against you] and eavesdrop for other people who do not come to you. They pervert words from their meanings, [and] say, ‘If you are given this, take it, but if you are not given this, beware!’ Yet whomever Allah wishes to mislead, you cannot avail him anything against Allah. They are the ones whose hearts Allah did not desire to purify. For them is disgrace in this world, and there is a great punishment for them in the Hereafter.

The prophets, who had submitted, judged by it for the Jews, and so did the rabbis and the scribes, as they were charged to preserve the Book of Allah and were witnesses to it. So do not fear the people, but fear Me, and do not sell My signs for a paltry gain. Those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down—it is they who are the faithless.

46.We followed them with Jesus son of Mary, to confirm that which was before him of the Torah, and We gave him the Evangel containing guidance and light, confirming what was before it of the Torah, and as guidance and advice for the Godwary.

[36:13.00]

47.Walyahkum Ahlul Injeeli bimaaa anzalal laahu feeh; wa mal lam yahkum bimaaa anzalal laahu fa ulaaa'ika humul faasiqoon

47.Let the people of the Evangel judge by what Allah has sent down in it. Those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down—it is they who are the transgressors.

[36:30.00]

48.We have sent down to you the Book with the truth, confirming what was before it of the Book and as a guardian over it. So judge between them by what Allah has sent down, and do not follow their desires against the truth that has come to you. For each [community] among you We had appointed a code [of law] and a path, and had Allah wished He would have made you one community, but [His purposes required] that He should test you in respect to what He has given you. So take the lead in all good works. To Allah shall be the return of you all, whereat He will inform you concerning that about which you used to differ.

[37:28.00]

49.Judge between them by what Allah has sent down, and do not follow their desires. Beware of them lest they should beguile you from part of what Allah has sent down to you. But if they turn their backs [on you], then know that Allah desires to punish them for some of their sins, and indeed many of the people are transgressors.

[38:06.00]

50.Afahukmal jaahiliyyati yabghoon; wa man ahsanu minal laahi hukmal liqawminy yooqinoon

50.Do they seek the judgement of [pagan] ignorance? But who is better than Allah in judgement for a people who have certainty?

[38:22.00]

51.O you who have faith! Do not take the Jews and the Christians for allies: they are allies of each other. Any of you who allies with them is indeed one of them. Indeed Allah does not guide the wrongdoing lot.

[38:53.00]

52.Yet you see those in whose hearts is a sickness rushing to them, saying, ‘We fear lest a turn of fortune should visit us.’ Maybe Allah will bring about a victory, or a command from Him, and then they will be regretful for what they kept secret in their hearts,

[39:25.00]

53.and the faithful will say, ‘Are these the ones who swore by Allah with solemn oaths that they were with you?!’ Their works have failed, and they have become losers.

[39:45.00]

54.O you who have faith! Should any of you desert his religion, Allah will soon bring a people whom He loves and who love Him, [who will be] humble towards the faithful, stern towards the faithless, waging jihad in the way of Allah, not fearing the blame of any blamer. That is Allah’s grace, which He grants to whomever He wishes, and Allah is all-bounteous, all-knowing.

[40:30.00]

55.Your guardian is only Allah, His Apostle, and the faithful who maintain the prayer and give the zakat while bowing down.

[40:49.00]

56.Wa mai yatawallal laaha wa Rasoolahoo wallazeena aamanoo fa inna hizbal laahi humul ghaaliboon

56.Whoever takes for his guardians Allah, His Apostle and the faithful [should know that] the confederates of Allah are indeed the victorious.

57.O you who have faith! Do not take those who take your religion in derision and play, from among those who were given the Book before you, and the infidels, as friends, and be wary of Allah, should you be faithful.

[41:42.00]

58.When you call to prayer, they take it in derision and play. That is because they are a people who do not exercise their reason.

[41:59.00]

59.Qul yaaa Ahlal Kitaabi hal tanqimoona minnaaa illaaa an aamannaa billaahi wa maaa unzila ilainaa wa maa unzila min qablu wa annna aksarakum faasiqoon

59.Say, ‘O People of the Book! Are you vindictive toward us for any reason except that we have faith in Allah and in what has been sent down to us, and in what was sent down before, and that most of you are transgressors?’

[42:26.00]

60.Say, ‘Shall I inform you concerning something worse than that as a requital from Allah? Those whom Allah has cursed and with whom He is wrathful, and turned some of whom into apes and swine, and worshippers of fake deities! Such are in a worse situation and more astray from the right way.’

[43:01.00]

61.Wa izaa jaaa'ookum qaalooo aamannaa wa qad dakhaloo bilkufri wa hum qad kharajoo bih; wallaahu a'lamu bimaa kaanoo yaktumoon

61.When they come to you, they say, ‘We believe.’ Certainly, they enter with disbelief and leave with it, and Allah knows best as to what they have been concealing.

[43:19.00]

62.You see many of them actively engaged in sin and aggression, and consuming illicit gains. Surely, evil is what they have been doing.

[43:34.00]

63.Law laa yanhaahumur rabbaaniyyoona wal ahbaaru 'an qawlihimul ismaa wa aklihimus suht; labi'sa maa kaanoo yasna'oon

63.Why do not the rabbis and the scribes forbid them from sinful speech and consuming illicit gains? Surely, evil is what they have been working.

[43:53.00]

64.The Jews say, ‘Allah’s hand is tied up.’ Tied up be their hands, and cursed be they for what they say! No, His hands are wide open: He bestows as He wishes. Surely many of them will be increased in rebellion and unfaith by what has been sent to you from your Lord, and We have cast enmity and hatred amongst them until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they ignite the flames of war, Allah puts them out. They seek to cause corruption on the earth, and Allah does not like the agents of corruption.

[45:28.00]

65.Had the People of the Book believed and been Godwary, We would surely have absolved them of their misdeeds and admitted them into gardens of bliss.

[45:47.00]

66.Had they observed the Torah and the Evangel, and what was sent down to them from their Lord, they would surely have drawn nourishment from above them and from beneath their feet. There is an upright group among them, but evil is what many of them do.

[46:19.00]

67.O Apostle! Communicate that which has been sent down to you from your Lord, and if you do not, you will not have communicated His message, and Allah shall protect you from the people. Indeed Allah does not guide the faithless lot.

[46:48.00]

68.Say, ‘O People of the Book! You do not stand on anything until you observe the Torah and the Evangel and what was sent down to you from your Lord.’ Surely many of them will be increased in rebellion and unfaith by what has been sent down to you from your Lord. So do not grieve for the faithless lot.

[47:23.00]

69.Indeed the faithful, the Jews, the Sabaeans, and the Christians—those who have faith in Allah and the Last Day and act righteously—they will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

[48:01.00]

70.Certainly We took a pledge from the Children of Israel, and We sent apostles to them. Whenever an apostle brought them that which was not to their liking, they would impugn a part of them, and a part they would slay.

[48:28.00]

71.They supposed there would be no testing, so they became blind and deaf. Thereafter Allah accepted their repentance, yet [again] many of them became blind and deaf, and Allah watches what they do.

[48:51.00]

72.Laqad kafaral lazeena qaalooo innal laaha Huwal maseehub nu Maryama wa qaalal Maseehu yaa Baneee Israaa'eela budul laaha Rabbee wa Rabbakum innnahoo many-yushrik ballaahi faqad harramal laahu 'alaihil jannata wa maa waahun Naaru wa maa lizzaalimeena min ansaar

72.They are certainly faithless who say, ‘Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary.’ But the Messiah had said, ‘O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord, and your Lord. Indeed whoever ascribes partners to Allah, Allah shall forbid him [entry into] paradise, and his refuge shall be the Fire, and the wrongdoers will not have any helpers.’

[49:30.00]

73.laqad kafaral lazeena qaalooo innal laaha saalisu salaasah; wa maa min ilaahin illaaa Ilaahunw Waahid; wa illam yantahoo 'ammaa yaqooloona layamas sannal lazeena kafaroo minhum 'azaabun aleem

73.They are certainly faithless who say, ‘Allah is the third [person] of a trinity,’ while there is no god except the One God. If they do not relinquish what they say, there shall befall the faithless among them a painful punishment.

[49:57.00]

74.Afalaa yatooboona ilal laahi wa yastaghfiroonah; wallaahu Ghafoorur Raheem

74.Will they not repent to Allah and plead to Him for forgiveness? Yet Allah is all-forgiving, all-merciful.

[50:07.00]

75.Mal Maseehub nu Maryama illaa Rasoolun qad khalat min qablihir Rusulu wa ummuhoo siddeeqatun kaanaa yaa kulaanit ta'aam; unzur kaifa nubaiyinu lahumul Aayaati suman zur annaa yu'fakoon

75.The Messiah, son of Mary, is but an apostle. Certainly, [other] apostles have passed before him, and his mother was a truthful one. Both of them would eat food. Look how We clarify the signs for them, and yet, look, how they go astray!

[50:35.00]

76.Qul ata'budoona min doonil laahi maa laa yamliku lakum darranw wa laa naf'aa; wallaahu Huwas Samee'ul 'Aleem

76.Say, ‘Do you worship, besides Allah, what has no power to bring you any benefit or harm, while Allah—He is the All-hearing, the All-knowing?!’

[50:49.00]

77.Qul yaaa Ahlal Kitaabi laa taghloo fee deenikum ghairal haqqi wa laa tattabi'ooo ahwaaa'a qawmin qad dalloo min qablu wa adalloo kaseeranw wa dalloo 'an Sawaaa'is Sabeel

77.Say, ‘O People of the Book! Do not unduly exceed the bounds in your religion and do not follow the fancies of a people who went astray in the past, and led many astray, and [themselves] strayed from the right path.’

[51:19.00]

78.The faithless among the Children of Israel were cursed on the tongue of David and Jesus son of Mary. That, because they would disobey and they used to commit transgression.

[51:37.00]

79.Kaanoo laa yatanaahawna 'am munkarin fa'aluhoo; labi'sa maa kaanoo yafa'loon

79.They would not forbid one another from the wrongs that they committed. Surely, evil is what they had been doing.

[51:48.00]

80.Taraa kaseeram minhum yatawallawnal lazeena kafaroo; labi'sa maa qaddamat lahum anfusuhum an sakhital laahu 'alaihim wa fil 'azaabi hum khaalidoon

80.You see many of them fraternizing with the faithless. Surely evil is what they have sent ahead for their souls, as Allah is displeased with them and they shall remain in punishment [forever].

[52:06.00]

81.Wa law kaanoo yu'minoona billaahi wan nabiyyi wa maaa unzila ilaihi attakhazoohum awliyaaa'a wa laakinna kaseeram minhum faasiqoon

81.Had they believed in Allah and the Prophet and what has been sent down to him, they would not have taken them for allies. But most of them are transgressors.

[52:26.00]

82.Latajidanna ashad dan naasi 'adaawatal lillazeena aamanul Yahooda wallazeena ashrakoo wa latajidanna aqrabahum mawaddatal lil lazeena aamanul lazeena qaalooo innaa Nasaaraa; zaalika bi anna mminhum qiseeseena wa ruhbaananw wa annahum laa yastakbiroon

82.Surely You will find the most hostile of all people towards the faithful to be the Jews and the polytheists, and surely you will find the nearest of them in affection to the faithful to be those who say ‘We are Christians.’ That is because there are priests and monks among them, and because they are not arrogant.
