95.Qul sadaqal laah; fattabi'oo Millata Ibraaheema Haneefanw wa maa kaana minal mush rikeen
95.Say, ‘Allah has spoken the truth; so follow the creed of Abraham, a Hanif, and he was not one of the polytheists.
[01:26.00]

97.In it are manifest signs [and] Abraham’s Station, and whoever enters it shall be secure. And it is the duty of mankind toward Allah to make pilgrimage to the House—for those who can afford the journey to it—and should anyone renege [on his obligation], Allah is indeed without need of the creatures.
[02:17.00]

99.Say, ‘O People of the Book! why do you bar the faithful from the way of Allah, seeking to make it crooked, while you are witnesses [to its truthfulness]? And Allah is not oblivious of what you do.’
[02:58.00]
100.Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo in tutee'oo fareeqam minal lazeena ootul Kitaaba yaruddookum ba'da eemaanikum kaafireen
100.O you who have faith, if you obey a part of those who were given the Book, they will turn you back, after your faith, into faithless ones.
[03:25.00]
101.And how would you be faithless while the signs of Allah are recited to you and His Apostle is in your midst? Whoever takes recourse in Allah is certainly guided to a straight path.
[03:51.00]

103.Hold fast, all together, to Allah’s cord, and do not be divided [into sects]. Remember Allah’s blessing upon you when you were enemies, then He brought your hearts together, so you became brothers with His blessing. And you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, whereat He saved you from it. Thus does Allah clarify His signs for you so that you may be guided.
[05:02.00]
104.Waltakum minkum ummatuny yad'oona ilal khairi wa yaamuroona bilma 'roofi wa yanhawna 'anil munkar; wa ulaaa'ika humul muflihoon
104.There has to be a nation among you summoning to the good, bidding what is right, and forbidding what is wrong. It is they who are the felicitous.
[05:27.00]
105.Wa laa takoonoo kallazeena tafarraqoo wakhtalafoo mim ba'di maa jaaa'ahumul baiyinaat; wa ulaaa'ika lahum 'azaabun 'azeem
105.Do not be like those who became divided [into sects] and differed after manifest signs had come to them. For such there will be a great punishment
[05:45.00]

106.on the day when [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black [it will be said to them], ‘Did you disbelieve after your faith? So taste the punishment because of what you used to disbelieve.’
[06:16.00]
107.Wa ammal lazeenabyadd at wujoohuhum fafee rahmatil laahi hum feehaa khaalidoon
107.But as for those whose faces become white, they shall dwell in Allah’s mercy, and they will remain in it [forever].
[06:33.00]
108.Tilka Aayaatul laahi natloohaa 'alaika bilhaqq; wa mal laahu yureedu zulmallil 'aalameen
108.These are the signs of Allah, which We recite to you in truth, and Allah does not desire any wrong for the creatures.
[06:50.00]
109.Wa lillaahi maa fissamaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa ilal laahi turja;ul umoor
109.To Allah belongs whatever there is in the heavens and the earth, and to Allah all matters are returned.
[07:02.00]

110.You are the best nation [ever] brought forth for mankind you bid what is right and forbid what is wrong, and have faith in Allah. And if the People of the Book had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them [some] are faithful, but most of them are transgressors.
[07:36.00]
111.Lai yadurrookum 'illaaa azanw wa ai yuqaatilookum yuwallookumul adbaara summa laa yunsaroon
111.They will never do you any harm, except for some hurt; and if they fight you, they will turn their backs [to flee], then they will not be helped.
[07:54.00]

112.Wherever they are found, abasement is stamped upon them, except for an asylum from Allah and an asylum from the people. They have earned the wrath of Allah, and poverty has been stamped upon them. That, because they would deny the signs of Allah and kill the prophets unjustly. That, because they would disobey and commit transgression.
[08:39.00]

113.Yet they are not all alike. Among the People of the Book is an upright nation; they recite Allah’s signs in the watches of the night and prostrate.
[09:02.00]

115.Wa maa yaf'aloo min khairin falai yukfarooh; wallaahu 'aleemun bilmuttaqeen
115.Whatever good they do, they will not go unappreciated for it, and Allah knows well the Godwary.
[09:35.00]

116.As for the faithless, neither their wealth nor their children will avail them anything against Allah. They shall be the inmates of the Fire and remain in it [forever].
[10:00.00]

117.The parable of what they spend in the life of this world is that of a cold wind that strikes the tillage of a people who wronged themselves, destroying it. Allah does not wrong them, but they wrong themselves.
[10:33.00]

118.O you who have faith! Do not take your confidants from others than yourselves; they will spare nothing to ruin you. They are eager to see you in distress. Hatred has already shown itself from their mouths, and what their breasts hide [within] is yet worse. We have certainly made the signs clear for you, should you exercise your reason.
[11:15.00]

119.Ah! You are the ones who bear love towards them, while they do not love you, though you believe in all the Books. When they meet you, they say, ‘We believe,’ but when they are alone, they bite their fingertips at you out of rage. Say, ‘Die of your rage!’ Indeed Allah knows well what is in the breasts.
[11:51.00]

120.If some good should befall you, it upsets them, but if some ill befalls you, they rejoice at it. Yet if you are patient and Godwary, their guile will not harm you in any way. Indeed Allah encompasses what they do.

[12:50.00]

15.Should any of your women commit an indecent act, produce against them four witnesses from yourselves, and if they testify, detain them in [their] houses until death finishes them, or Allah decrees a course for them.
[61:42.00]
16.Wallazaani ya’tiyaanihaa minkum fa aazoohumaa fa in taabaa wa aslahaa fa a’ridoo ‘anhumaaa; innal laaha kaana Tawwaabar Raheema
16.Should two among you commit it, chastise them both; but if they repent and reform, let them alone. Indeed Allah is all-clement, all-merciful.
[62:01.00]
17.Innamat tawbatu ‘alallaahi lillazeena ya’maloonas sooo’a bijahaalatin summa yatooboona min qareebin fa ulaa’ika yatoobul laahu ‘alaihim; wa kaanal laahu ‘Aleeman Hakeemaa
17.[Acceptance of] repentance by Allah is only for those who commit evil out of ignorance and then repent promptly. It is such whose repentance Allah will accept, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.
[62:29.00]
18.Wa laisatit tawbatu lillazeena ya’maloonas saiyiaati hattaaa izaa hadara ahadahumul mawtu qaala innee tubtul ‘aana wa lallazeena yamootoona wa hum kuffaar; ulaaa’ika a’tadnaa lahum ‘azaaban aleemaa
18.But [acceptance of] repentance is not for those who go on committing misdeeds: when death approaches any of them, he says, ‘I repent now.’ Nor is it for those who die while they are faithless. For such We have prepared a painful punishment.

19.O you who have faith! It is not lawful for you to inherit women forcibly, and do not press them to take away part of what you have given them, unless they commit a gross indecency. Consort with them in an honourable manner; and should you dislike them, maybe you dislike something while Allah invests it with an abundant good.

20.If you desire to take a wife in place of another, and you have given one of them a quintal [of gold], do not take anything away from it. Would you take it by way of calumny and flagrant sin?!
[64:24.00]

22.Wa laa tankihoo maa nakaha aabaaa’ukum minan nisaaa’i illaa maa qad salaf; innahoo kaana faahishatanw wa maqtanw wa saaa’a sabeelaa
22.Do not marry any of the women whom your fathers had married, excluding what is already past. That is indeed an indecency, an outrage and an evil course.
