Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

[00:00.03]

1.Yaaa aiyuhan naasut taqoo Rabbakumul lazee khalaqakum min nafsinw waahidatinw wa khalaqa minhaa zawjahaa wa bas sa minhumaa rijaalan kaseeranw wa nisaaa’aa; wattaqul laahallazee tasaaa ‘aloona bihee wal arhaam; innal laaha kaana ‘alaikumRaqeeba

1.O mankind! Be wary of your Lord who created you from a single soul, and created its mate from it, and from the two of them scattered numerous men and women. Be wary of Allah, in whose Name you adjure one another and [of severing ties with] blood relations. Indeed Allah is watchful over you.

[00:41.00]

2.Wa aatul yataamaaa amwaalahum wa laa tatabad dalul khabeesa bittaiyibi wa laa ta’kuloooa mwaalahum ilaaa amwaalikum; innahoo kaana hooban kabeeraa

2.Give the orphans their property, and do not replace the good with the bad, and do not eat up their property [by mingling it] with your own property, for that is indeed a great sin.

[01:03.00]

3.Wa in khiftum allaa tuqsitoo fil yataamaa fankihoo maa taaba lakum minan nisaaa’i masnaa wa sulaasa wa rubaa’a fa’in khiftum allaa ta’diloo fawaahidatan aw maa malakat aimaanukum; zaalika adnaaa allaa ta’ooloo

3.If you fear that you may not deal justly with the orphans, then marry [other] women that you like, two, three, or four. But if you fear that you may not treat them fairly, then [marry only] one, or [marry from among] your slave-women. That makes it likelier that you will not be unfair.

[01:42.00]

4.Wa aatun nisaaa’a sadu qaatihinna nihlah; fa in tibna lakum ‘an shai’imminhu nafsan fakuloohu hanee’am mareee’aa

4.Give women their dowries, handing it over to them; but if they remit anything of it of their own accord, then consume it as [something] lawful and wholesome.

[02:02.00]

5.Wa laa tu’tus sufahaaa’a amwaalakumul latee ja’alal laahu lakum qiyaamanw-warzuqoohum feehaa waksoohum wa qooloo lahum qawlam ma’roofaa

5.Do not give the feeble-minded your property, which Allah has assigned you to manage: provide for them out of it and clothe them, and speak to them honourable words.

[02:24.00]

6.Wabtalul yataamaa hattaaa izaa balaghun nikaaha fa in aanastum minhum rushdan fad fa’ooo ilaihim amwaalahum wa laa ta’ kuloohaaa israafanw wa bidaaran ai yakbaroo; wa man kaana ghaniyyan falyasta’ fif wa man kaana faqeeran fal ya’ kul bilma’roof; fa izaa dafa’tum ilaihim amwaalahum fa ash-hidoo ‘alaihim; wa kafaa billaahi Haseeba

6.Test the orphans when they reach the age of marriage. Then if you discern in them maturity, deliver to them their property. And do not consume it lavishly and hastily lest they should grow up. As for him who is well-off, let him be abstemious, and as for him who is poor, let him eat in an honourable manner. And when you deliver to them their property, take witnesses over them, and Allah suffices as reckoner.

[03:16.00]

7.Lirrijaali naseebum mimmaa tarakal waalidaani wal aqraboona wa lin nisaaa’i naseebum mimmaa tarakal waalidaani wal aqraboona mimmaa qalla minhu aw kasur; naseebam mafroodaa

7.Men have a share in the heritage left by parents and near relatives, and women have a share in the heritage left by parents and near relatives, whether it be little or much, a share ordained [by Allah].

[03:53.00]

8.Wa izaa hadaral qismata ulul qurbaa walyataamaa walmasaakeenu farzuqoohum minhu wa qooloo lahum qawlam ma’roofaa

8.And when the division is attended by relatives, the orphans and the needy, provide for them out of it, and speak to them honourable words.

[04:08.00]

9.Walyakhshal lazeena law tarakoo min khalfihim zurriyyatan di’aafan khaafoo ‘alaihim falyattaqul laaha walyaqooloo qawlan sadeedaa

9.Let those fear [the result of mistreating orphans] who, were they to leave behind weak offspring, would be concerned on their account. So let them be wary of Allah, and let them speak upright words.

[04:30.00]

10.Indeed those who consume the property of orphans wrongfully, only ingest fire into their bellies, and soon they will enter the Blaze.

[04:52.00]

11.Allah enjoins you concerning your children: for the male shall be the like of the share of two females, and if there be [two or] more than two females, then for them shall be two-thirds of what he leaves; but if she be alone, then for her shall be a half; and for each of his parents a sixth of what he leaves, if he has children; but if he has no children, and his parents are his [sole] heirs, then it shall be a third for his mother; but if he has brothers, then a sixth for his mother, after [paying off] any bequest he may have made or any debt [he may have incurred]. Your parents and your children—you do not know which of them is likelier to be beneficial for you. This is an ordinance from Allah. Indeed Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.

[06:21.00]

12.For you shall be a half of what your wives leave, if they have no children; but if they have children, then for you shall be a fourth of what they leave, after [paying off] any bequest they may have made or any debt [they may have incurred]. And for them [it shall be] a fourth of what you leave, if you have no children; but if you have children, then for them shall be an eighth of what you leave, after [paying off] any bequest you may have made or any debt [you may have incurred]. If a man or woman is inherited by siblings and has a brother or a sister, then each of them shall receive a sixth; but if they are more than that, then they shall share in one third, after [paying off] any bequest he may have made or any debt [he may have incurred] without prejudice. [This is] an enjoinment from Allah, and Allah is all-knowing, all-forbearing.

13.Tilka hudoodul laah; wa mai yuti’il laaha wa Rasoolahoo yudkhilhu Jannaatin tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa; wa zaalikal fawzul ‘azeem

13.These are Allah’s bounds, and whoever obeys Allah and His Apostle, He shall admit him to gardens with streams running in them, to remain in them [forever]. That is the great success.

[08:26.00]

14.But whoever disobeys Allah and His Apostle and transgresses the bounds set by Allah, He shall make him enter a Fire, to remain in it [forever], and there will be a humiliating punishment for him.

15.Should any of your women commit an indecent act, produce against them four witnesses from yourselves, and if they testify, detain them in [their] houses until death finishes them, or Allah decrees a course for them.

[09:22.00]

16.Wallazaani ya’tiyaanihaa minkum fa aazoohumaa fa in taabaa wa aslahaa fa a’ridoo ‘anhumaaa; innal laaha kaana Tawwaabar Raheema

16.Should two among you commit it, chastise them both; but if they repent and reform, let them alone. Indeed Allah is all-clement, all-merciful.

[09:41.00]

17.Innamat tawbatu ‘alallaahi lillazeena ya’maloonas sooo’a bijahaalatin summa yatooboona min qareebin fa ulaa’ika yatoobul laahu ‘alaihim; wa kaanal laahu ‘Aleeman Hakeemaa

17.[Acceptance of] repentance by Allah is only for those who commit evil out of ignorance and then repent promptly. It is such whose repentance Allah will accept, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.

[10:10.00]

18.But [acceptance of] repentance is not for those who go on committing misdeeds: when death approaches any of them, he says, ‘I repent now.’ Nor is it for those who die while they are faithless. For such We have prepared a painful punishment.

[10:45.00]

19.O you who have faith! It is not lawful for you to inherit women forcibly, and do not press them to take away part of what you have given them, unless they commit a gross indecency. Consort with them in an honourable manner; and should you dislike them, maybe you dislike something while Allah invests it with an abundant good.

[11:41.00]

20.Wa in arattumustib daala zawjim makaana zawjin wa aataitum ihdaahunna qintaaran falaa ta’khuzoo minhu shai’aa; ata’khuzoonahoo buhtaannanw wa ismam mubeenaa

20.If you desire to take a wife in place of another, and you have given one of them a quintal [of gold], do not take anything away from it. Would you take it by way of calumny and flagrant sin?!

[12:04.00]

21.Wa kaifa ta’khuzoonahoo wa qad afdaa ba’dukum ilaa ba’dinw wa akhazna minkum meesaaqan ghaleezaa

21.How could you take it back, when you have known each other, and they have taken from you a solemn covenant?

[12:18.00]

22.Wa laa tankihoo maa nakaha aabaaa’ukum minan nisaaa’i illaa maa qad salaf; innahoo kaana faahishatanw wa maqtanw wa saaa’a sabeelaa

22.Do not marry any of the women whom your fathers had married, excluding what is already past. That is indeed an indecency, an outrage and an evil course.

47.Yaaa aiyuha lazeena ootul Kitaaba aaminoo bimaa nazzalnaa musadiqallimaa ma’akum min qabli an natmisa wujoohan fanaruddahaa ‘alaaa adbaarihaaa aw nal’anahum kamaa la’annaaa Ashaabas Sabt; wa kaanaamrul laahi maf’oolaa

47.O you who were given the Book! Believe in what We have sent down confirming what is with you, before We blot out the faces and turn them backwards, or curse them as We cursed the People of the Sabbath, and Allah’s command is bound to be fulfilled.

[25:52.00]

48.Innal laaha laa yaghfiru ai yushraka bihee wa yaghfiru maa doona zaalika limai yashaaa’; wa mai yushrik billaahi faqadif taraaa isman ‘azeemaa

48.Indeed Allah does not forgive that partners should be ascribed to Him, but He forgives anything besides that to whomever He wishes. Whoever ascribes partners to Allah has indeed fabricated [a lie] in great sinfulness.

[26:13.00]

49.Alam tara ilal lazeena yuzakkoona anfusahum; balil laahu yuzakkee mai yashaaa’u wa laa yuzlamoona fateelaa

49.Have you not regarded those who style themselves as pure? Indeed, it is Allah who purifies whomever He wishes, and they will not be wronged [so much as] a single date-thread.

[26:28.00]

50.Unzur kaifa yaftaroona ‘alal laahil kazib, wakafaa biheee ismamm mubeenaa

50.Look, how they fabricate lies against Allah! That suffices for a flagrant sin.

[26:39.00]

51.Have you not regarded those who were given a share of the Book, believing in idols and fake deities and saying of the pagans: ‘These are better guided on the way than the faithful’?

[27:03.00]

52.Ulaaa’ikal lazeena la’ana humul laahu wa mai yal’anil laahu falan tajida lahoo naseeraa

52.They are the ones whom Allah has cursed, and whomever Allah curses, you will never find any helper for him.

[27:17.00]

53.Am lahum naseebum minal mulki fa izal laa yu’toonan naasa naqeeraa

53.Do they have a share in sovereignty? If so, they will not give those people [so much as] a speck on a date-stone!

[27:26.00]

54.Am yahsudoonan naasa ‘alaa maaa aataahumul laahu min fadlihee faqad aatainaaa Aala Ibraaheemal Kitaaba wal Hikmata wa aatainaahum mulkan ‘azeemaa

54.Do they envy those people for what Allah has given them out of His bounty? We have certainly given the progeny of Abraham the Book and wisdom, and We have given them a great sovereignty.

[27:47.00]

55.Faminhum man aamana bihee wa minhum man sadda ‘anh; wa kafaa bi Jahannama sa’eeraa

55.Of them are some who believe in him, and of them are some who deter [others] from him; and hell suffices for a blaze!

[28:00.00]

56.Indeed We shall soon make those who deny Our signs enter a Fire: as often as their skins become scorched, We shall replace them with other skins, so that they may taste the punishment. Indeed Allah is all-mighty, all-wise.

[28:27.00]

57.As for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, We shall admit them into gardens with streams running in them, to remain in them forever. In it, there will be chaste mates for them, and We shall admit them into a deep shade.

[29:00.00]

58.Indeed Allah commands you to deliver the trusts to their [rightful] owners, and to judge with fairness when you judge between people. Excellent indeed is what Allah advises you. Indeed Allah is all-hearing, all-seeing.

[29:29.00]

59.O you who have faith! Obey Allah and obey the Apostle and those vested with authority among you. And if you dispute concerning anything, refer it to Allah and the Apostle, if you have faith in Allah and the Last Day. That is better and more favourable in outcome.

[30:00.00]

60.Have you not regarded those who claim that they believe in what has been sent down to you and what was sent down before you? They desire to seek the judgment of fake deities, though they were commanded to reject them, and Satan desires to lead them astray into far error.

[30:41.00]

61.Wa izaa qeela lahum ta’aalaw ilaa maaa anzalallaahu wa ilar Rasooli ra aital munaafiqeena yasuddoona ‘anka sudoodaa

61.When they are told, ‘Come to what Allah has sent down and [come] to the Apostle,’ you see the hypocrites keep away from you aversely.

[30:57.00]

62.Fakaifa izaaa asaabathum museebatum bimaa qaddamat aideehim summa jaaa’ooka yahlifoona billaahi in aradnaaa illaaa ihsaananw wa tawfeeqaa

62.But how will it be when an affliction visits them because of what their hands have sent ahead? Then they will come to you, swearing by Allah, ‘We desired nothing but to do good and to bring about comity.’

[31:27.00]

63.They are the ones whom Allah knows as to what is in their hearts. So let them alone, and advise them, and speak to them concerning themselves far-reaching words.

[31:50.00]

64.Wa maa arsalnaa mir Rasoolin illaa liyutaa’a bi iznil laah; wa law annahum ‘iz zalamooo anfusahum jaaa’ooka fastaghfarul laaha wastaghfara lahumur Rasoolu la wajadul laaha Tawwaabar Raheemaa

64.We did not send any apostle but to be obeyed by Allah’s leave. Had they, when they wronged themselves, come to you and pleaded to Allah for forgiveness, and the Apostle had pleaded for them [to Allah]for forgiveness, they would have surely found Allah all-clement, all-merciful.

[32:25.00]

65.Falaa wa Rabbika laa yu’minoona hattaa yuhakkimooka fee maa shajara bainahum summa laa yajidoo feee anfusihim harajam mimmaa qadaita wa yusal limoo tasleemaa

65.But no, by your Lord! They will not believe until they make you a judge in their disputes, then do not find within their hearts any dissent to your verdict and submit in full submission.

[32:49.00]

66.Wa law annaa katabnaa‘alaihim aniqtulooo anfusakum aw ikhrujoo min diyaarikum maa fa’aloohu illaa qaleelum minhum wa law annahum fa’aloo maa yoo’azoona bihee lakaana khairal lahum wa ashadda tasbeetaa

66.Had We prescribed for them, [commanding]: ‘Slay [the guilty among] your folks or leave your habitations,’ they would not have done it except a few of them. And if they had done as they were advised, it would have been better for them and stronger in confirming [their faith].

[33:21.00]

67.Then We would surely have given them from Us a great reward,

[33:30.00]

68.Wa la Hadainaahum Siraatam mustaqeemaa

68.and We would have guided them to a straight path.

[33:35.00]

69.Whoever obeys Allah and the Apostle—they are with those whom Allah has blessed, including the prophets and the truthful, the martyrs and the righteous, and excellent companions are they!

[34:09.00]

70.Zaalikal fadlu minal laah; wa kafaa billaahi ‘Aleemaa

70.That is the grace of Allah, and Allah suffices as knower [of His creatures].

[34:18.00]

71.Yaaa aiyuhal lazeena aamanoo khuzoo hizrakum fanfiroo subaatin awin firoo jamee’aa

71.O you who have faith! Take your precautions, then go forth in companies, or go forth en masse.

[34:31.00]

72.Wa inna minkum lamal la yubatti’anna fa in asaabatkum museebatun qaala qad an’amal laahu ‘alaiya iz lam akum ma’ahum shaheeda

72.Among you is indeed he who drags his feet, and should an affliction visit you, he says, ‘It was certainly Allah’s blessing that I did not accompany them!’

[34:49.00]

73.But should a bounty from Allah come to you, he will say—as if there were no [tie of friendship and] affection between you and him—‘I wish I were with them so that I had achieved a great success!’

[35:15.00]

74.Let those who sell the life of this world for the Hereafter fight in the way of Allah; and whoever fights in the way of Allah, and then is slain, or he subdues [the enemy], We shall soon give him a great reward.

[35:36.00]

75.Why should you not fight in the way of Allah and the oppressed men, women, and children, who say, ‘Our Lord, bring us out of this town whose people are oppressors, and appoint for us a guardian from Yourself, and appoint for us a helper from Yourself’?

[36:15.00]

76.Those who have faith fight in the way of Allah, and those who are faithless fight in the way of fake gods. So fight the friends of Satan; indeed the stratagems of Satan are always flimsy.

[36:43.00]

77.Have you not regarded those who were told, ‘Keep your hands off [from warfare], and maintain the prayer and give the zakat’? But when fighting was prescribed for them, behold, a part of them feared the people as if fearing Allah, or were even more afraid, and they said, ‘Our Lord! Why did You prescribe fighting for us? Why did You not respite us for a short time?!’ Say, ‘The enjoyments of this world are trifle and the Hereafter is better for the Godwary, and you will not be wronged so much as a single date-thread.

79.Whatever good befalls you is from Allah; and whatever ill befalls you is from yourself. We sent you as an apostle to mankind, and Allah suffices as witness.

[38:50.00]

81.They profess obedience [to you], but when they go out from your presence, a group of them conspire overnight [to do] something other than what you say. But Allah records what they conspire overnight. So disregard them and put your trust in Allah, for Allah suffices as trustee.

83.When a report of safety or alarm comes to them, they immediately broadcast it; but had they referred it to the Apostle or to those vested with authority among them, those of them who investigate would have ascertained it. And were it not for Allah’s grace upon you and His mercy, you would have surely followed Satan, [all] except a few.

84.So fight in the way of Allah: you are responsible only for yourself, but urge on the faithful [to fight]. Maybe Allah will curb the might of the faithless, for Allah is greatest in might and severest in punishment.

[40:47.00]

88.Why should you be two groups concerning the hypocrites, while Allah has made them relapse [into unfaith] because of their deeds? Do you desire to guide someone Allah has led astray? Whomever Allah leads astray, you will never find any way for him.

[42:10.00]

91.You will find others desiring to be secure from you, and secure from their own people; yet whenever they are called back to polytheism, they relapse into it. So if they do not keep out of your way, nor offer you peace, nor keep their hands off [from fighting], then seize them and kill them wherever you confront them, and it is such against whom We have given you a clear sanction.

92.A believer may not kill another believer, unless it is by mistake. Anyone who kills a believer by mistake should set free a believing slave, and pay blood-money to his family, unless they remit it in charity. If he belongs to a people that are hostile to you but is a believer, then a believing slave is to be set free. And if he belongs to a people with whom you have a treaty, the blood-money is to be paid to his family and a believing slave is to be set free. He who cannot afford [to pay the blood-money], must fast two successive months as a penance from Allah, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.

Yet with Allah are plenteous gains. You too were such earlier, but Allah did you a favour. Therefore, do ascertain. Allah is indeed well aware of what you do.

Allah has graced those who wage jihad with their possessions and their persons by a degree over those who sit back; yet to each Allah has promised the best reward, and Allah has graced those who wage jihad over those who sit back with a great reward:

102.When you are among them, leading them in prayers, let a group of them stand with you, carrying their weapons. And when they have done the prostrations, let them withdraw to the rear, then let the other group which has not prayed come and pray with you, taking their precautions and [bearing] their weapons. The faithless are eager that you should be oblivious of your weapons and your baggage, so that they could assault you all at once. But there is no sin upon you, if you are troubled by rain or are sick, to set aside your weapons; but take your precautions. Indeed Allah has prepared for the faithless a humiliating punishment.

[51:01.00]

Be maintainers of justice and witnesses for the sake of Allah, even if it should be against yourselves or [your] parents and near relatives, and whether it be [someone] rich or poor, for Allah has a greater right over them. So do not follow [your] desires, lest you should be unfair, and if you distort [the testimony] or disregard [it], Allah is indeed well aware of what you do.

163.We have indeed revealed to you as We revealed to Noah and the prophets after him, and [as] We revealed to Abraham and Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, Jesus and Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon—and We gave David the Psalms—

[74:03.00]

164.Wa Rusulan qad qasas naahum ‘alaika min qablu wa Rusulal lam naqsushum ‘alaik; wa kallamallaahu Moosaa takleemaa

[74:19.00]

165.Rusulam mubashshireena wa munzireena li’allaa yakoona linnaasi ‘alal laahi hujjatum ba’dar Rusul; wa kaanallaahu ‘Azeezan Hakeema

165.apostles, as bearers of good news and warners, so that mankind may not have any argument against Allah, after the [sending of the] apostles; and Allah is all-mighty, all-wise.

[74:36.00]

166.Laakinil laahu yashhadu bimaaa anzala ilaika anzalahoo bi’ilmihee wal malaaa’ikatu yashhadoon; wa kafaa billaahi Shaheeda

166.But Allah bears witness to what He has sent down to you—He sent it down with His knowledge—and the angels bear witness [too], and Allah quite suffices as witness.

[74:56.00]

167.Innal lazeena kafaroo wa saddoo ‘an sabeelil laahi qad dalloo dalaalam ba’eedaa

167.Indeed those who are faithless and bar [others] from the way of Allah, have certainly strayed into far error.

[75:08.00]

168.Innal lazeenakafaroo wa zalamoo lam yakunillaahu liyaghfira lahum wa laa liyahdiyahum tareeqaa

168.Indeed those who are faithless and do wrong, Allah shall never forgive them, nor shall He guide them to any way,

[75:18.00]

169.Illaa tareeqa jahannamma khaalideena feehaa abadaa; wa kaana zaalika ‘alal laahi yaseeraa

169.except the way to hell, to remain in it forever, and that is easy for Allah.

[75:30.00]

170.Yaaa aiyuhan naasu qad jaaa’akumur Rasoolu bilhaqqi mir Rabbikum fa ammminoo khairal lakum; wa in takfuroo fainnna lillaahi maa fis samaawaati wal ard; wa kaanal laahu ‘Aleemann hakeemaa

170.O mankind! The Apostle has certainly brought you the truth from your Lord. So have faith! That is better for you. And if you are faithless, [you should know that] to Allah indeed belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and Allah is all-knowing, all-wise.

[75:55.00]

171.Yaaa Ahlal Kitaabi laa taghloo fee deenikum wa laa taqooloo ‘alal laahi illalhaqq; innamal Maseehu ‘Eesab-nu-Maryama Rasoolul laahi wa Kalimatuhooo alqaahaaa ilaa Maryama wa roohum minhum fa aaminoo billaahi wa Rusulihee wa laa taqooloo salaasah; intahoo khairallakum; innamal laahu Ilaahunw Waahid, Subhaanahooo any yakoona lahoo walad; lahoo maa fissamaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa kafaa billaahi Wakeelaa

171.O People of the Book! Do not exceed the bounds in your religion, and do not attribute anything to Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only an apostle of Allah, and His Word that He cast toward Mary and a spirit from Him. So have faith in Allah and His apostles, and do not say, ‘[God is] a trinity.’ Relinquish [such a creed]! That is better for you. Allah is but the One God. He is far too immaculate to have any son. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and Allah suffices as trustee.

[76:49.00]

172.Lay yastankifal Maseehu ai yakoona ‘abdal lillaahi wa lal malaaa’ikatul muqarraboon; wa mai yastankif ‘an ibaadatihee wa yastakbir fasa yahshuruhum ilaihi jamee’aa

172.The Messiah would never disdain being a servant of Allah, nor would the angels brought near [to Him]. And whoever disdains His worship and is arrogant, He will gather them all toward Him.

[77:13.00]

173.Fa ammal lazeena aamanoo wa ‘amilus saalihaati fa yuwaffeehim ujoorahum wa yazeeduhum min fadlihee wa ammal lazeenas tankafoo wastakbaroo fa yu’azzibuhum ‘azaaban aleema wa laa yajidoona lahum min doonil laahi waliyyanw wa laa naseeraa

173.As for those who have faith and do righteous deeds, He will pay them in full their rewards, and He will enhance them out of His grace. But those who are disdainful and arrogant, He will punish them with a painful punishment, and they will not find besides Allah any guardian or helper.

[77:46.00]

174.Yaa aiyuhan naasu qad jaaa’akum burhaanum mir Rabbikum wa anzalnaaa ilaikum Nooram Mubeena

174.O mankind! Certainly, a proof has come to you from your Lord, and We have sent down to you a manifest light.

[78:07.00]

175.Fa ammal lazeena aamanoo billaahi wa’tasamoo bihee fasa yudkhiluhum fee rahmatim minhu wa fadlinw wa yahdeehim ilaihi Siraatam Mustaqeema

175.As for those who have faith in Allah, and hold fast to Him, He will admit them to His mercy and grace, and He will guide them on a straight path to Him.

[78:31.00]

176.They ask you for a ruling. Say, ‘Allah gives you a ruling concerning the kalalah: If a man dies and has no children [or parents], but has a sister, for her shall be a half of what he leaves, and he shall inherit from her if she has no children. If there be two sisters, then they shall receive two-thirds of what he leaves. But if there be [several] brothers and sisters, then for the male shall be the like of the share of two females. Allah explains [the laws] for you lest you should go astray, and Allah has knowledge of all things.’
