بِسْمِ اﷲِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

Bismillaahir-Rahmaanir-Raheem

In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي عَزَمْتَ بِهِ عَلَى السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ فَقُلْتَ لَهُمَا )اِئْتِيَا طَوْعاً أَوْ كَرْهاً قَالَتَا أَتَيْنَا طَائِعِينَ)، وَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي عَزَمْتَ بِهِ عَلَى عَصَا مُوسٰى (ع) (فَـإِذا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ ما يَأْفِكُونَ)۔

Allahumma inni as'aluka bismika allathee 'azamta bihi 'ala assamawati wal-ardi faqulta lahuma [i'tiya taw'an aw karhan qalata atayna ta'i'een], wa bismika allathee 'azamta bihi 'ala 'asa Musa (A) [fa-itha hiya talqafu ma ya'fikoona].

O Allah, I ask You by Your Name by which You have decreed over the heavens and the earth, and said to them [Come willingly or unwillingly], they said [We have come willingly], and by Your Name by which You decreed over the staff of Moses (A) [Then it swallowed what they falsified].

وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِاسْمِكَ الَّذِي صَرَفْتَ بِهِ قُلُوبَ السَّحَرَةِ إِلَيْكَ حَتَّى (قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ رَبِّ مُوسىٰ‏ وَ هَارُونَ)، أَنْتَ اللهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ، وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِالْقُدْرَةِ الَّتِي تُبْلِيُ بِهَا كُلَّ جَدِيدٍ، وَ تُجَدِّدُ بِهَا كُلَّ بَالٍ۔

Wa as'aluka bismika allathee sarabta bihi qulooba assaharat ilayka hatta [qaloo amanna birabbi al'alamina rabbi Musa wa Harun], anta Allahu rabb al'alamina, wa as'aluka bilqudrati allatee tubli biha kulla jadeed, wa tujaddidu biha kulla bal.

And I ask You by Your Name with which You turned the hearts of the magicians toward You until [they said, "We believe in the Lord of the worlds, the Lord of Moses and Aaron"], You are Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and I ask You by the power with which You cause every new thing to decay and renew every old thing.

وَ أَسْأَلُكَ بِحَقِّ كُلِّ حَقٍّ هُوَ لَكَ، وَ بِكُلِّ حَقٍّ جَعَلْتَهُ عَلَيْكَ، إِنْ كَانَ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ خَيْراً لِي فِي دِينِي وَ دُنْيَايَ وَ آخِرَتِي، أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَ تُسَلِّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ تَسْلِيماً، وَ تُهَيِّئَهُ لِي، وَ تُسَهِّلَهُ عَلَيَّ، وَ تَلَطِّفَ لِي فِيهِ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ۔ وَ إِنْ كَانَ شَرّاً لِي فِي دِينِي وَ دُنْيَايَ وَ آخِرَتِي، أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَ تُسَلِّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ تَسْلِيماً، وَ أَنْ تَصْرِفَهُ عَنِّي بِمَا شِئْتَ، وَ كَيْفَ شِئْتَ، (وَ حَيْثُ شِئْتَ)، وَ تُرْضِيَنِي بِقَضَائِكَ، وَ تُبَارِكَ لِي فِي قَدَرِكَ، حَتَّى لَا أُحِبَّ تَعْجِيلَ مَا أَخَّرْتَ، وَ لَا تَأْخِيرَ شَىءٍ عَجَّلْتَهُ، فَإِنَّهُ لَا حَوْلَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِكَ، يَا عَلِيُّ يَا عَظِيمُ، يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ۔

Wa as'aluka bihaqqi kulli haqqin huwa laka, wa bikulli haqqin ja'altahu 'alayka, in kana hadha al-amru khayran li fi deeni wa dunyaya wa akhirati, an tusalli 'ala Muhammad wa ali Muhammad, wa tusallim 'alayhim tasleema, wa tuhayi'ihi li, wa tusahhilu 'alayya, wa talattifa li fihi birahmatika ya arham ar-rahimeen. Wa in kana sharran li fi deeni wa dunyaya wa akhirati, an tusalli 'ala Muhammad wa ali Muhammad, wa tusallim 'alayhim tasleema, wa an tasrifahu 'anni bima shi'ta, wa kayfa shi'ta, [wa haythu shi'ta], wa turdheeni bi qada'ika, wa tubarik li fi qadrika, hatta la uhibba ta'jila ma akhkharta, wa la ta'khira shay'in 'ajjaltahu, fa innahu la hawla wa la quwwata illa bika, ya 'Aliyyu ya 'Azim, ya dha al-jalali wal-ikram.

And I ask You by every right that is Yours, and by every right You have placed upon Yourself, if this matter is good for me in my religion, my worldly life, and my hereafter, to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and to grant them peace, to prepare it for me, to make it easy for me, and to treat me kindly in it by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful. And if it is evil for me in my religion, my worldly life, and my hereafter, to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, and to grant them peace, and to turn it away from me as You will, and as You please, [and wherever You please], and to satisfy me with Your decree, and to bless me in Your destiny, so that I do not desire hastening what You have delayed, nor delaying what You have hastened. For there is no power and no strength except with You, O Most High, O Most Great, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor.
