allaahumma innee as-aloka eemaanan tobaashero behi qalbee
O Allah! I ask You for faith which gives joy to my heart,
In al-Kaafi: In his narration from al-Fazl ibn Abi Qurrah from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said:
Three sentences were recited by all the prophets, one after the other, from Adam (a.s.) until they came down to the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.). Every morning he (s.a.w.a.) would say:
wa yaqeenan hattaa a-a’lamo annahu laa yoseebonee
and certitude so that I may know that nothing befalls me
illaa maa katabta lee wa razzenee bemaa qasamta lee.
except that which You have destined for me, and make me pleased with that which you have apportioned for me.
