أَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ

Allāhumma ṣalli ʿalā Muḥammad wa ālihi

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and his family

وَأَفْرِشْنِي مِهَادَ كَرَامَتِكَ

Wa-afrishnī mihāda karāmatik

And spread beneath me the bed of Your generosity

وَأَوْرِدْنِي مَشَارِعَ رَحْمَتِكَ

Wa-awridnī mashāriʿa raḥmatik

And bring me to the springs of Your mercy

وَأَحْلِلْنِي بُحْبُوحَةَ جَنَّتِكَ

Wa-aḥlilnī buḥbūḥata jannatik

And settle me in the spaciousness of Your Paradise

وَلَا تَسُمْنِي بِالرَّدِّ عَنْكَ

Wa-lā tasumnī bi-r-raddi ʿanka

And do not label me as one turned away from You

وَلَا تَحْرِمْنِي بِالْخَيْبَةِ مِنْكَ

Wa-lā taḥrimnī bi-l-khaybati minka

And do not deprive me by Your rejection

وَلَا تُقَاصَّنِي بِمَا اجْتَرَحْتُ

Wa-lā tuqāṣṣinī bimā ijtaraḥtu

And do not hold me accountable for what I have committed

وَلَا تُنَاقِشْنِي بِمَا اكْتَسَبْتُ

Wa-lā tunāqishnī bimā iktasabtu

Nor debate me about what I have acquired

وَلَا تُبْرِزْ مَكْتُومِي، وَلَا تَكْشِفْ مَسْتُورِي

Wa-lā tubriz maktūmī, wa-lā takshif mastūrī

Do not expose my hidden faults, nor unveil my private matters

وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَى مِيزَانِ الْأَنْصَافِ عَمَلِي

Wa-lā taḥmil ʿalā mīzāni al-anṣāfi ʿamalī

Do not weigh my deeds with the strict scale of justice

وَلَا تُعْلِنْ عَلَى عُيُونِ الْمَلَاءِ خَبَرِي

Wa-lā tuʿlin ʿalā ʿuyūni al-malāʾi khabari

Nor disclose my news before the eyes of the assembly

أَخْفِ عَنْهُمْ مَا يَكُونُ نَشْرُهُ عَلَيَّ عَارًا

Akhfi ʿanhum mā yakūnu nashruhu ʿalayya ʿāran

Hide from them what would bring me shame if made public

وَاطْوِ عَنْهُمْ مَا يُلْحِقُنِي عِندَكَ شَنَارًا

Waṭwi ʿanhum mā yulḥiqunī ʿindak shanāran

And conceal from them what would disgrace me before You

شَرِّفْ دَرَجَتِي بِرِضْوَانِكَ

Sharif darajatī biriḍwānik

Honor my rank with Your satisfaction

وَأَكْمِلْ كَرَامَتِي بِغُفْرَانِكَ

Wa-akmil karāmatī bighufrānik

And perfect my dignity through Your forgiveness

وَانْظِمْنِي فِي أَصْحَابِ الْيَمِينِ

Wa-nẓimnī fī aṣḥābi al-yamīn

And enroll me among the companions of the right

وَوَجِّهْنِي فِي مَسَالِكِ الْآمِنِينَ

Wa-wajjihnī fī masālikil-āminīn

Enable me to travel the paths of the secure

وَاجْعَلْنِي فِي فَوْجِ الْفَائِزِينَ

Wa-jʿalnī fī fawjil-fāʾizīn

And make me among the group of the successful

وَاعْمُرْ بِي مَجَالِسَ الصَّالِحِينَ

Wa-ʿmur bī majālisa aṣ-ṣāliḥīn

Let me fill the gatherings of the righteous

آمِينَ رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Āmīn rabba al-ʿālamīn

Amen, Lord of the worlds
