‏ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ وَ لَا أَسْأَلُ غَيْرَكَ وَ أَرْغَبُ إِلَيْكَ وَ لَا أَرْغَبُ إِلَى غَيْرِكَ

Allaahumma Innee Asaloka Wa Laa As-Alo Ghayraka Wa Arghabo Elayka Wa Laa Arghabo Elaa Ghayreka

O Allah! I ask from You not from others. I bow to You and will never bow to other than You.

أَسْأَلُكَ يَا أَمَانَ الْخَائِفِينَ وَ جَارَ الْمُسْتَجِيرِينَ أَنْتَ الْفَتَّاحُ ذُو الْخَيْرَاتِ

As-Aloka Yaa Amaanal Khaaefeena Wa Jaaral Mustajeereena Antal Fattaaho Zul Khayraate

O the one who gives respite to those who fear Him. O the refuge of the one who seeks refuge. You are the doer of goodness and the one to find a way through difficulties.

مُقِيلُ الْعَثَرَاتِ مَاحِي السَّيِّئَاتِ وَ كَاتِبُ الْحَسَنَاتِ وَ رَافِعُ الدَّرَجَاتِ

Moqeelul A’Saraate Wa Maahis Sayye-Aate Wa Kaatebul Hasanaate Wa Raafe-U’D Darajaate

You forgive our carelessness erase our sins, record our good deeds, raise our status

أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَفْضَلِ الْمَسَائِلِ كُلِّهَا وَ أَنْجَحِهَا الَّتِي لَا يَنْبَغِي لِلْعِبَادِ أَنْ يَسْأَلُوكَ إِلَّا بِهَا

As-Aloka Be-Afzalil Masaa-Le Kullehaa Wa Anjahehal Latee Laa Yanbaghee Lil-E’Baade An Yas-Alooka Illaa Behaa

I ask from You all good wishes and success, such wishes other than which to seek from You is not proper.

يَا اللَّهُ يَا رَحْمَانُ وَ بِأَسْمَائِكَ الْحُسْنَى وَ أَمْثَالِكَ الْعُلْيَا وَ نِعَمِكَ الَّتِي لَا تُحْصَى وَ بِأَكْرَمِ أَسْمَائِكَ عَلَيْكَ

Wa Beka Yaa Allaaho Yaa Rahmaano Wa Beasmaaa- Ekal Husnaa Wa Amsaalekal U’Lyaa Wa Ne-A’Mekal Latee Laa Tohsaa Wa Beakrame As-Maa-Eka A’Layka

O Allah! O the Merciful! By Your Beautiful Names! Those great examples and the countless bounties and by those names

وَ أَحَبِّهَا إِلَيْكَ وَ أَشْرَفِهَا عِنْدَكَ مَنْزِلَةً وَ أَقْرَبِهَا مِنْكَ وَسِيلَةً وَ أَجْزَلِهَا مَبْلَغاً

Wa Ahabbehaa Elayka Wa Ashrafehaa I’Ndaka Manzelatan Wa Aqrabahaa Minak Waseelatan Wa Ajzalehaa Mablaghan

which are near to You in greatness and dearer to You who in the ranks are nearer to You and honoured and whose intercession is closer to You

وَ أَسْرَعِهَا مِنْكَ إِجَابَةً وَ بِاسْمِكَ الْمَخْزُونِ الْجَلِيلِ الْأَجَلِّ الْعَظِيمِ

Wa As-Ra-E’Haa Minka Ejaabatan Wa Be Ismekal Makhzoonil Jaleelil Ajallil A’Zeemil

and very important in position, the most effective for acceptance and by Your name which is Protected, Glorious, Respected and Great,

الَّذِي تُحِبُّهُ وَ تَرْضَاهُ وَ تَرْضَى عَنْ مَنْ دَعَاكَ بِهِ فَاسْتَجَبْتَ دُعَاءَهُ

Lazee Tohibbohu Wa Tarzaaho Wa Tarzaa A’Mman Da-A’Aka Behi Wa Tas-Tajeebo Doa’A- Ahu

with which You are happy and satisfied, and one who calls You by these name is Your beloved. You accept his invocations and it is his right upon You that You do not refuse his invocations.

وَ حَقٌّ عَلَيْكَ أَلَّا تَحْرِمَ سَائِلَكَ وَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَ الْإِنْجِيلِ وَ الزَّبُورِ وَ الْفُرْقَانِ

Wa Haqqun A’Layka An Laa Tahrema Behi Saaeloka Wa Bekullis Min Howa Laka Fit Tawraate Wal Injeele Waz Zaboore Wal Furqaane

And by all those names which are mentioned in taurat and Injeel, Zaboor and Quran

وَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَداً مِنْ خَلْقِكَ أَوْ لَمْ تُعْلِمْهُ أَحَداً وَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ دَعَاكَ بِهِ

Wa Bekulle Ismin Howa Laka A’Llamtahu Ahadan Min Khalqeka Awa Lam To-A’Llimho Ahadan Wa Bekulle Ismin Da-A’Aka Behi

And by all those names which is specialized for You, which You have informed to one of Your creatures or none is aware of it

حَمَلَةُ عَرْشِكَ وَ مَلَائِكَتُكَ وَ أَصْفِيَاؤُكَ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ وَ بِحَقِّ السَّائِلِينَ لَكَ وَ الرَّاغِبِينَ إِلَيْكَ

Hamalato A’Rsheka Wa Malaaaekatoka Wa As-Feyaaoka Min Khaqeka Wa Behaqqis Saa-Eleena Laka War Raaghebeena Elayka

and all those names, by which the holders of Your Throne and other Angels and those appointed from Your creation call upon You. By the right of those who call upon You, who bow down to You

وَ الْمُتَعَوِّذِينَ بِكَ وَ الْمُتَضَرِّعِينَ لَدَيْكَ وَ بِحَقِّ كُلِّ عَبْدٍ مُتَعَبِّدٍ لَكَ فِي بَرٍّ أَوْ بَحْرٍ أَوْ سَهْلٍ أَوْ جَبَلٍ أَدْعُوكَ دُعَاءَ

Wal Mota-A’Wwezeena Beka Wal Mota-Zarree’Ena Elayka Wa Behaqqe Kulle A’Bdin Mota-A’Bbedin Laka Fee Barrin Aw Bahrin Aw Sahlin Aw Jabalin Ad-O’Oka Do-A’Aa-A

who seek refuge from You, and those who complain to You. By the right of those who worship You whether on barren or fertile land, or on hills he calls You.

مَنْ قَدِ اشْتَدَّتْ فَاقَتُهُ وَ عَظُمَ جُرْمُهُ وَ أَشْرَفَ عَلَى الْهَلَكَةِ وَ ضَعُفَتْ قُوَّتُهُ وَ مَنْ لَا يَثِقُ بِشَيْ‏ءٍ مِنْ عَمَلِهِ

Ma Qadish Taddat Faaqatohu Wa A’Zoma Jurmohu Wa Ashrafa A’Lal Halakate Wa Zao’Fat Quwwatohu Wa Man Laa Yaseqo Beshay- In Min A’Amalehi

Like whose need is quite severe and sins are manifold and has reached the door of death, strength has given way, who has no hopes on his deeds.

وَ لَا يَجِدُ لِذَنْبِهِ غَافِراً غَيْرَكَ وَ لَا لِسَعْيِهِ [لِسَغْبِهِ‏] سِوَاكَ هَرَبْتُ مِنْكَ إِلَيْكَ مُعْتَرِفاً غَيْرَ مُسْتَنْكِفٍ وَ لَا مُسْتَكْبِرٍ عَنْ عِبَادَتِكَ

Wa Laa Yajedo Lezanbehi Ghaaferan Ghayraka Wa Laa Lesa’Yehi Shaakeran Sewaaka Harabto Elayka Ghayra Mustankefin Wa Laa Mustakberin A’N E’Baadateka

He is not able to find anyone to accept his efforts and to forgive his sins other than You. And he has come voluntarily. There is no intention to rebel due to Your obedience

يَا أُنْسَ كُلِّ فَقِيرٍ مُسْتَجِيرٍ أَسْأَلُكَ بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ الْحَنَّانُ الْمَنَّانُ

Yaa Unsa Kulle Faqeerin Mustajeerin As-Aloka Be-Annaka Antal Laaho Laa Elaaha Illaa Antal Hannaanul Mannaano

O the Protector of all disabled I ask You as there is no Allah other than You. You are affectionate, the Great obliger,

بَدِيعُ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ‏ ذُو الْجَلالِ وَ الْإِكْرامِ

Ba-Dee-U’S Samaawaate Wal Arze Zul Jalaale Wal Ikraame

the Creator of the Heaven and the Earth. Possessor of Majesty and Mercy.

عالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَ الشَّهادَةِ

A’Alemul Ghaybe Wash Shahaadatir

Knower of the Unseen and Seen

الرَّحْمنُ الرَّحِيمُ‏ أَنْتَ الرَّبُّ وَ أَنَا الْعَبْدُ وَ أَنْتَ الْمَالِكُ وَ أَنَا الْمَمْلُوكُ وَ أَنْتَ الْعَزِيزُ

Rahmaanur Raheemo Antar Rabbo Wa Anal A’Bdo Wa Antal Maaleko Wa Anal Mamlooko Wa Antal A’Zeezo

You are the Beneficent, the Merciful.You are the Lord and I am a slave.You are the king and I am Your subject.

وَ أَنَا الذَّلِيلُ وَ أَنْتَ الْغَنِيُّ وَ أَنَا الْفَقِيرُ وَ أَنْتَ الْحَيُّ وَ أَنَا الْمَيِّتُ وَ أَنْتَ الْبَاقِي

Wa Anaz Zaleelo Wa Antal Ghaniyyo Wa Anal Faqeero Wa Antal Hayyo Wa Anal Mayyeto Wa Antal Baaqee

You are honoured and I am degraded. You are self-sufficient and I am dependent You are alive and I am dead You are everliving and I will perish

وَ أَنَا الْفَانِي وَ أَنْتَ الْمُحْسِنُ وَ أَنَا الْمُسِي‏ءُ وَ أَنْتَ الْغَفُورُ وَ أَنَا الْمُذْنِبُ وَ أَنْتَ الرَّحِيمُ

Wa Anal Faanee Wa Antal Mohseno Wa Anal Mosee-O Wa Antal Ghafooro Wa Anal Muznebo Wa Antar Raheemo

You are doer of good and I am sinful.You are forgiving and I am a sinner. You are merciful and I am transgressor.

وَ أَنَا الْخَاطِي وَ أَنْتَ الْخَالِقُ وَ أَنَا الْمَخْلُوقُ وَ أَنْتَ الْقَوِيُّ وَ أَنَا الضَّعِيفُ وَ أَنْتَ الْمُعْطِي وَ أَنَا السَّائِلُ وَ أَنْتَ الْأَمِينُ

Wa Anal Khaatee Wa Antal Khaaleqo Wa Anal Makhlooqo Wa Antal Qawiyyo Wa Anaz Zae’Efo Wa Antal Moa’Tee Wa Anas Saaaelo Wa Antal Aameno

You are the Creator and I am the weak. You are the Provider and I am the seeker.

وَ أَنَا الْخَائِفُ وَ أَنْتَ الرَّازِقُ وَ أَنَا الْمَرْزُوقُ وَ أَنْتَ أَحَقُّ مَنْ شَكَوْتُ إِلَيْهِ وَ اسْتَغَثْتُ بِهِ وَ رَجَوْتُهُ لِأَنَّكَ كَمْ مِنْ مُذْنِبٍ قَدْ غَفَرْتَ لَهُ

Wa Anal Khaa-Efo Wa Antar Raazeqo Wa Anal Marzooqo Wa Anta Ahaqqo Man Shakawto Elayhe Was Ta-Ghasto Behi Wa Rajawtohu Le-Annaka

You are the satisfier and I am fearful. You are the sustainer and we are the sustained ones. To whom we complain and address our grievances. You are most deserving from among them. As You have pardoned many of the sinners.

وَ كَمْ مِنْ مُسِي‏ءٍ قَدْ تَجَاوَزْتَ عَنْهُ فَاغْفِرْ لِي وَ تَجَاوَزْ عَنِّي وَ ارْحَمْنِي وَ عَافِنِي مِمَّا نَزَلَ بِي

Kam Mim Muznebin Qad Ghafarta Lahu Wa Kam Min Mosee-In Qad Tajaawazta A’Nho Fagh-Fir Lee Wa Tajaawaz A’Nnee War Hamnee Wa A’Afenee Mimmaa Nazala Bee

How many of the transgressors have You overlooked. Now You pardon me, overlook my faults, have mercy on me. Protect me from the calamity which has befallen me.

وَ لَا تَفْضَحْنِي بِمَا جَنَيْتُهُ عَلَى نَفْسِي وَ خُذْ بِيَدِي وَ بِيَدِ وَالِدِي وَ وُلْدِي

Wa Laa Tafzahnee Bemaa Janaytohu A’Laa Nafsee Wa Khuz Beyadee Wa Beyade Waaledayya Wa Waladee

Don't degrade me due to my errors. Help me, and my parents and my children.

وَ ارْحَمْنَا بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَ الْإِكْرَامِ

War Hamnaa Be-Rahmateka Yaa Arhamar Raahemeena Yaa Zal Jalaale Wal Ikraame.

Have mercy on us. O Merciful of all the mercifuls and the possessor of respect and Honour have mercy on us.
