بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

bismillahi alrrahmani alrrahimi

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

[00:11.00]

اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

Tra"O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

[00:22.00]

اِلٰهِىْ اَسْكَنْتَنَا دَارًا حَفَرَتْ لَنَا حُفَرَ مَكْرِهَا

ilahi askantana daran hafarat lana hufara makriha

My God, You have settled us in an abode which has dug for us pits of deception,

[00:36.00]

وَ عَلَّقَتْنَا بِاَيْدِى الْمَنَايَا فِىْ حَبَاۤئِلِ غَدْرِهَ

wa `allaqtana bi-aydi almanaya fi haba’ili ghadriha

and You have fastened us by the hands of death in the snares of that abode’s treachery!

[00:46.00]

فَاِلَيْكَ نَلْتَجِئُ مِنْ مَكَاۤئِدِ خُدَ عِهَا

fa-ilayka naltaji’u min maka’idi khuda`iha

In You we seek asylum from the tricks of its guile,

[00:56.00]

وَ بِكَ نَعْتَصِمُ مِنَ الْاِغْتِرَارِ بِزَخَارِفِ زِيْنَتِهَا

wa bika na`tasimu min alightirari bizakharifi zinatiha

and to You we hold fast lest we be deluded by the glitter of its ornaments!

[01:05.00]

فَاِنَّهَا الْمُهْلِكَةُ طُلاَّبَهَا

fa innaha almuhlikatu tullabaha

It destroys its pursuers

[01:12.00]

الْمُتْلِفَةُ حَلاّٰلَهَا،

almutlifatu hullalaha

and ruins its settlers,

[01:18.00]

الْمَحْشُوَّةُ بِالاٰفَاتِ

almahshuwwatu bil-afati

it is stuffed with blights

[01:22.00]

الْمَشْحُوْنَةُ بِالنَّكـَبَاتِ

almashhunatu binnakabati

and loaded with calamities.

[01:28.00]

اِلٰهِىْ فَزَهِّدْنَا فِيْهَا

ilahi fazahhidna fiha

My God, induce us to renounce it

[01:36.00]

وَ سَلِّمْنَا مِنْهَا

wa sallimna minha

and keep us safe from it

[01:40.00]

بِتَوْفِيْقِكَ وَ عِصْمَتِكَ

bitawfiqika wa `ismatika

by Your giving success and Your preservation from sin.

[01:46.00]

وَانْزَعْ عَنَّا جَلَابِيْبَ مُخَالَفَتِكَ

wa anzi` `anna jalabiba mukhalafatika

Strip from us the robes of opposing You,

[01:53.50]

وَ تَوَّلَ اُمُوْرَنَا بِحُسْنِ كـِفَايَتِكَ

wa tawalla umurana bihusni kifayatika

attend to our affairs through Your good sufficiency,

[02:01.00]

وَ اَوْفِرْ مَزِيْدَنَا مِنْ سَعَةِ رَحْمَتِكَ

wa awfir mazidana min sa`ati rahmatika

amplify our increase from the boundless plenty of Your mercy,

[02:08.00]

وَ اَجْمِلْ صِلَاتِنَا مِنْ فَيْضِ مَوَاهِبِكَ

wa ajmil silatina min faydi mawahibika

be liberal in our gifts from the overflow of Your grants,

[02:16.00]

وَ اَغْرِسْ فِىْ اَفْئِدَتِنَا اَشْجَارَ مَحَبَّتِكَ

waghris fi af’idatina ashjara mahabbatika

plant in our hearts the trees of Your love,

[02:25.00]

وَ اَتْمِمْ لَنَا اَنْوَارَ مَعْرِفَتِكَ

wa atmim lana anwara ma`rifatika

complete for us the lights of Your knowledge,

[02:32.00]

وَ اَذِقْنَا حَلَاوَةَ عَفْوِكَ وَ لَذَّةَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ

wa adhiqna halawata `afwika wa ladhdhata maghfiratika

give us to taste the sweetness of Your pardon and the pleasure of Your forgiveness,

[02:41.00]

وَ اَقْرِرْ اَعْيُنَنَا يَوْمَ لِقَاۤئِكَ بِرُؤْيَتِكَ

wa aqrir a`yunana yawma liqa’ika biru’yatika

gladden our eyes on the day of meeting You with the vision of You,

[02:51.00]

وَ اَخْرِجْ حُبَّ الدُّنْيَا مِنْ قُلُوْبِنَا

wa akhrij hubba addunya min qulubina

dislodge the love of this world from our spirits,

[02:58.00]

كَمَا فَعَلْتَ بِالصَّالِحِيْنَ مِنْ صَفْوَتِكَ

kama fa`alta bissalihina min safwatika

just as You have done for the righteous, Your selected friends,

[03:06.00]

وَالْاَبْرَارِ مِنْ خَآصَّتِكَ

wal-abrari min khassatika

and for the pious, those whom You have singled out!

[03:11.90]

يَآ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

birahmatika ya arhama arrahimina

O Most Merciful of the merciful,

[03:17.00]

وَ يَا اَكْرَمَ الْاَكْرَمِيْنَ

wa ya akrama al-akramina

O Most Generous of the most generous!
