بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ

bismillahi alrrahmani alrrahimi

In the Name of Allah, the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah: (please do) bless Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

[00:22.00]

اَللّٰهُمَّ يَا مَلَاذَ الَّلاۤئِذِيْنَ

allahumma ya maladha alla'idhina

O Allah, O Shelter of the shelter-seekers!

[00:28.00]

وَ يَا مَعَاذَ الْعَاۤئِذِيْنَ

wa ya ma`aadha al`a'idhina

O Refuge of the refuge-seekers!

[00:34.00]

وَ يَا مُنْجِيَ الْهَالِكِيْنَ

wa ya munjiya alhalikina

O Deliverer of the perishing!

[00:39.00]

وَ يَا عَاصِمَ الْبَاۤئِسِيْنَ

wa ya `asima alba'isina

O Preserver of the pitiful!

[00:44.00]

وَ يَا رَاحِمَ الْمَسَاكِيْنِ

wa ya rahima almasakini

O Merciful toward the miserable!

[00:49.00]

وَ يَا مُجِيْبَ الْمُضْطَرِّيْنَ

wa ya mujiba almudtarrina

O Responder to the distressed!

[00:55.00]

وَ يَا كَنْزَ الْمُفْقَتِرِيْنَ

wa ya kanza almuftaqirina

O Treasure of the utterly poor!

[01:02.00]

وَ يَا جَابِرَ الْمُنْكَسِرِيْنَ

wa ya jabira almunkasirina

O Mender of the broken!

[01:08.00]

وَ يَا مَاْوَى الْمُنْقَطِعِيْنَ

wa ya ma'wa almunqati`ina

O Haven of the cut off!

[01:13.00]

وَ يَا نَاصِرَ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِيْنَ

wa ya nasira almustad`afina

O Helper of the abased!

[01:19.00]

وَ يَا مُجِيْرَ الْخَاۤئِـفِيْنَ

wa ya mujira alkha'ifina

O Granter of sanctuary to the fearful!

[01:24.00]

وَ يَا مُغِيْثَ الْمَكْرُوْبِيْنَ

wa ya mughitha almakrubina

O Aide of the troubled!

[01:31.00]

وَ يَا حِصْنَ اللاّٰجِيْنَ

wa ya hisna allaji'ina

O Fortress of the refugees!

[01:37.00]

اِنْ لَمْ اَعُذْ بِعِزَّتِكَ فَبِمَنْ اَعُوْذُ

in lam a`dh bi`izzatika fabiman a`udhu

If I seek not refuge in Your might, in whom shall I seek refuge?

[01:44.00]

وَ اِنْ لَمْ اَلُذْ بِقُدْرَتِكَ فَبِمَنْ اَلُوْذُ

wa in lam aludh biqudratika fabiman aludhu

If I seek not shelter in Your power, in whom shall I seek shelter?

[01:52.00]

وَ قَدْ اَلْجَاَتْنِى الذُّنُوْبُ اِلَى التَّشَبُّتِ بِاَذْيَالِ عَفْوِكَ

wa qad alja'atni adhdhunubu ila attashabbuthi bi-adhyali `afwika

Sins have made me seek asylum in laying hold on the skirts of Your pardon,

[02:05.00]

وَ اَحْوَجَتْنِىْ الْخَطَايَا اِلَى اسْتِفْتَاحِ اَبْوَابِ صَفْحِكَ

wa ahwajatni alkhataya ila istiftahi abwabi safhika

offenses have compelled me to beg the opening of the doors of Your forgiveness,

[02:15.00]

وَ دَعَتْنِىْ الْاِسَاۤئَةُ اِلَى الْاِنَاخَةِ بِفِنَاۤءِ عِزِّكَ

wa da`atni al-isa'atu ila al-inakhati bifina'i `izzika

evildoing has summoned me to dismount in the courtyard of Your might,

[02:24.00]

وَ حَمَلَتْنِىْ الْمَخَافَةُ مِنْ نِقْمَتِكَ عَلَى التَّمَسُّكِ بِعُرْوَةِ عَطْفِكَ

wa hamalatni almakhafatu min naqimatika `ala attamassuki bi`urwati `atfika

and fear of Your vengeance has prompted me to cling to the handhold of Your tenderness!

[02:37.00]

وَ مَا حَقُّ مَنِ اعْتَصَمَ بِحَبْلِكَ اَنْ يُخْذَلَ

wa ma ahaqqu man i`tasama bihablika an yukhdhala

It is not right for him who holds fast to Your cord to be abandoned,

[02:45.00]

وَلَا َلِيْقُ بِمَنِ اسْتَجَارَ بِعِزِّكَ اَنْ يُسْلَمَ اَوْ يُهْمَلَ

wa la yaliqu biman istajara bi`izzika an yuslama aw yuhmala

nor proper for him who seeks the sanctuary of Your might to be surrendered or disregarded.

[02:57.00]

اِلٰهِىْ فَلَا تُخْلِنَا مِنْ جِمَايَتِكَ

ilahi fala tukhlina min himayatika

My God, empty us not of Your defending,

[03:07.00]

وَلَا تَعْرِنَا مِنْ رِعَايَتِكَ

wa la tu`rina min ri`ayatika

strip us not of Your guarding,

[03:14.00]

وَ ذُدْنَا عَنْ مَوَارِدِ الْهَلَكَةِ

wa dhudna `an mawaridi alhalakati

and protect us from the roads of destruction,

[03:20.00]

فَاِنَّا بِعَيْنِكَ وَ فِىْ كَنَفِكَ وَلَكَ

fa inna bi`aynika wa fi kanafika wa laka

for we are in Your eye and under Your wing!

[03:29.00]

اَسْئَلُكَ بِاَهْلِ خَآصَّتِكَ

as'aluka bi-ahli khassatika

I ask You by those whom You have singled out,

[03:35.00]

مِنْ مَلاۤئِكَتِكَ وَالصَّالِحِيْنَ مِنْ بَرِيَّتِكَ

min mala'ikatika wassalihina min bariyyatika

Your angels and the righteous among Your creatures,

[03:46.00]

اَنْ تَجْعَلَ عَلَيْنَا وَاقِيَةً

an taj`ala `alayna waqiyatan

to assign over us a protector

[03:50.00]

تُنْجِيْنَا مِنَ الْهَلَكَـاتِ

tunjina min alhalakati

through which You will deliver us from destructions,

[03:55.00]

وَ تُجَنِّبُنَا مِنَ الْاٰفَاتِ

wa tujannibuna min al-afati

turn aside from us blights,

[04:02.00]

وَ تُكِنُّنَا مِنْ دَوَاهِىْ الْمُصِيْبَاتِ

wa tukinnuna min dawahi almusibati

and hide us from the striking of great afflictions,

[04:09.00]

وَ اَنْ تُنْزِلَ عَلَيْنَا مِنْ سَكِيْنَتِكَ

wa an tunzila `alayna min sakinatika

to send down upon us some of Your tranquility,

[04:16.00]

وَ اَنْ تُغَشِّىَ وُجُوْهَنَا بِاَنْوَارِمَحَبَّتِكَ

wa an tughashshiya wujuhana bi-anwari mahabbatika

to wrap our faces in the lights of love for You,

[04:25.00]

وَ اَنْ تُؤْوِيَنَا اِلٰى شَدِيْدِ رُكْنِكَ

wa an tu'wiyana ila shadidi ruknika

to give us haven in Your strong pillar,

[04:35.00]

وَ اَنْ تَحْوِيَنَا فِىْ اَكْنَافِ عِصْمَتِكَ

wa an tahwiyana fi aknafi `ismatika

and to gather us under the wings of Your preservation!

[04:43.00]

بِرَأفَتِكَ وَ رَحْمَتِكَ

bira'fatika wa rahmatika

By Your clemency and Your mercy!

[04:49.00]

يَآ اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِيْنَ

ya arhama arrahimina

O Most Merciful of the merciful!
