Supplication after the recitation of the Holy Quran from the beginning to the end (Khatm al-Qurʾān)-Quoted from Imam Ali (Peace be upon him)
"My beloved, the Messenger of God- may Allah bless him and his household and give them peace- had ordered me to read this prayer at the Khatm al-Qurʾān:"
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ إِخْبَاتَ الْمُخْبِتِينَ وَ إِخْلَاصَ الْمُوقِنِينَ وَ مُرَافَقَةَ الْأَبْرَارِ

O God! Surely, I ask You for the humbleness of the humbles, the sincerity of those who are sure, the companionship of the righteous,

وَ اسْتِحْقَاقَ حَقَائِقِ الْإِيمَانِ وَ الْغَنِيمَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ بِرٍّ وَ السَّلَامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ إِثْمٍ

the merit of receiving the truths of faith, the enjoyment of all goodness, the protection from all sins,

وَ وُجُوبَ رَحْمَتِكَ وَ عَزَائِمَ مَغْفِرَتِكَ وَ الْفَوْزَ بِالْجَنَّةِ وَ النَّجَاةَ مِنَ النَّار

the admittance into Your mercy, the achievement of Your great graces, the salvation and reaching Your paradise and saving from the fire of hell.
