At the time of Hijrat (emigration), the Holy Prophet (s.a.w)
recited the following verses from Sura Yasin, and as a result the enemies that wanted to kill him could not see him even when he escaped from in front of their eyes from Mecca.
إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَغْلَالًا فَهِيَ إِلَى الْأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ
Inna Ja'alna fee a'naqihim aghlaa lan fa hiya ilal adhqaani fahum muqmahoon
Verily we have put on their necks iron collars reaching upto their chins so that their heads are raised up. [Sura Yasin, Verse 8]
وَجَعَلْنَا مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُبْصِرُونَ
Wa ja ‘alna mim bayne Aide him saddawn min khal fe him saddan fa aghshayna hum fa hum la yubseroon
And we have put a barrier before them & a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see [Sura Yasin, Verse 9]
