اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad;

[00:10.00]

شَجَرَةِ النُّبُوَّةِ

shajarati alnnubuwwati

the tree of Prophethood,

[00:12.00]

وَ مَوْضِعِ الرِّسَالَةِ

wa mawdi`i alrrisalati

the trustees of the (Divine) Mission,

[00:14.00]

وَ مُخْتَلَفِ الْمَلَاۤئِكَةِ

wa mukhtalafi almala'ikati

the frequently visited by the angels,

[00:17.00]

وَ مَعْدِنِ الْعِلْمِ

wa ma`dini al`ilmi

the core of knowledge,

[00:20.00]

وَ اَهْلِ بَيْتِ الْوَحْيِ

wa ahli bayti alwahyi

and the Household of the Divine Revelation.

[00:23.00]

اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

[00:28.00]

اِلْفُلْكِ الْجَارِيَةِ فِي اللُّجَجِ الْغَامِرَةِ

alfulki aljariyati fi allujaji alghamirati

the sailing ships through the abysmal waves.

[00:34.00]

يَأْمَنُ مَنْ رَكِبَهَا

ya'manu man rakibaha

He who embarks on will be saved

[00:38.00]

وَ يَغْرَقُ مَنْ تَرَكَهَا

wa yaghraqu man tarakaha

but he who abandons will be drowned.

[00:42.00]

اَلْمُتَقَدِّمُ لَهُمْ مَارِقٌ

almutaqaddimu lahum mariqun

He who precedes them will miss the Right Path

[00:45.00]

وَ الْمُتَاَخِّرُ عَنْهُمْ زَاهِقٌ

walmuta'akhkhiru `anhum zahiqun

and he who misses them will lose,

[00:50.00]

وَ اللَّازِمُ لَهُمْ لَاحِقٌ

wallazimu lahum lahiqun

but he who adheres to them will win.

[00:54.00]

اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

[01:02.00]

اِلْكَهْفِ الْحَصِيْنِ

alkahfi alhasini

the impregnable shelter,

[01:05.00]

وَ غِيَاثِ الْمُضْطَرِّ الْمُسْتَكِيْنِ

wa ghiyathi almudtarri almustakini

the succorers of the helpless, distressed ones,

[01:09.00]

وَ مَلْجَاِ الْهَارِبِيْنَ

wa malja'i alharibina

the haven of the fugitives,

[01:12.00]

وَ عِصْمَةِ الْمُعْتَصِمِيْنَ

wa `ismati almu`tasimina

and the asylum of those who seek refuge.

[01:16.00]

اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad

[01:22.00]

صَلَاةً كَثِيْرَةً تَكُوْنُ لَهُمْ رِضًى

salatan kathiratan takunu lahum ridan

so many blessings that please them

[01:26.00]

وَ لِحَقِّ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ اَدَاۤءً وَ قَضَاۤءً

wa lihaqqi muhammadin wa ali muhammadin ada'an wa qada'an

and settle all (our) duties towards Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

[01:33.00]

بِحَوْلٍ مِنْكَ وَ قُوَّةٍ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

bihawlin minka wa quwwatin ya rabba al`alamina

by Your might and power, O Lord of the worlds!

[01:42.00]

اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

[01:48.00]

اِلطَّيِّبِيْنَ الْاَبْرَارِ الْاَخْيَارِ

alttayyibina al-abrari al-akhyari

the pure, pious, and righteous

[01:54.00]

الَّذِيْنَ اَوْجَبْتَ حُقُوْقَهُمْ

alladhina awjabta huquqahum

whose rights have been made incumbent upon us by You

[01:57.00]

وَ فَرَضْتَ طَاعَتَهُمْ وَ وِلَايَتَهُمْ

wa faradta ta`atahum wa wilayatahum

and the obedience to whom and whose (divinely ordained) leadership have been (also) deemed obligatory upon us by You.

[02:03.00]

اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allahumma salli `ala muhammadin wa ali muhammadin

O Allah, (please do) send blessings to Muhammad and the Household of Muhammad,

[02:09.00]

وَ اعْمُرْ قَلْبِيْ بِطَاعَتِكَ

wa`mur qalbi bita`atika

fill my heart with obedience to You,

[02:12.00]

وَ لَا تُخْزِنِيْ بِمَعْصِيَتِكَ

wa la tukhzini bima`siyatika

do not disgrace me due to my acts of disobedience to You,

[02:17.00]

وَ ارْزُقْنِيْ مُوَاسَاةَ مَنْ قَتَّرْتَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ رِزْقِكَ،

warzuqni muwasata man qattarta `alayhi min rizqika

and grant me the feeling of sympathy towards those whom You have decided to straiten their sustenance

[02:23.00]

بِمَا وَسَّعْتَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ

bima wassa`ta `alayya min fadlika

for You have blessed me with affluence in livelihood

[02:27.00]

وَ نَشَرْتَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ عَدْلِكَ

wa nasharta `alayya min `adlika

since You have displayed Your justice on me

[02:30.00]

وَ اَحْيَيْتَنِيْ تَحْتَ ظِلِّكَ

wa ahyaytani tahta zillika

and bestowed life on me to live under Your shade.

[02:33.00]

وَ هٰذَا شَهْرُ نَبِيِّكَ سَيِّدِ رُسُلِكَ

wa hadha shahru nabiyyika sayyidi rusulika

This is the month of Your Prophet and the Master of Your Messengers.

[02:39.00]

شَعْبَانُ الَّذِيْ حَفَفْتَهُ مِنْكَ بِالرَّحْمَةِ وَ الرِّضْوَانِ

sha`banu alladhi hafaftahu minka bilrrahmati walrridwani

It is Sha`ban, which You have encompassed with Your mercy and pleasure

[02:46.00]

الَّذِيْ كَانَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ اٰلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ‏

alladhi kana rasulu allahi salla allahu `alayhi wa alihi wa sallama

and on which the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his Household,

[02:56.00]

يَدْاَبُ فِيْ صِيَامِهِ وَ قِيَامِهِ

yad'abu fi siyamihi wa qiyamihi

used to observe fasting painstakingly and used to spend it with acts of worship

[03:01.00]

فِيْ لَيَالِيْهِ وَ اَيَّامِهِ

fi layalihi wa ayyamihi

on all of its days and nights

[03:04.00]

بُخُوْعًا لَكَ فِيْۤ اِكْرَامِهِ وَ اِعْظَامِهِ

bukhu`an laka fi ikramihi wa i`zamihi

on account of Your honoring and dignifying this month,

[03:10.00]

اِلٰى مَحَلِّ حِمَامِهِ

ila mahalli himamihi

up to his death.

[03:15.00]

اَللّٰهُمَّ فَاَعِنَّا عَلَى الْاِسْتِنَانِ بِسُنَّتِهِ فِيْهِ

allahumma fa-a`inna `ala alistinani bisunnatihi fihi

O Allah, (please do) help us follow the example of him (i.e. the Holy Prophet as regards the honoring of this month)

[03:23.00]

وَ نَيْلِ الشَّفَاعَةِ لَدَيْهِ

wa nayli alshshafa`ati ladayhi

and help us attain his intercession for us.

[03:26.00]

اَللّٰهُمَّ وَ اجْعَلْهُ لِيْ شَفِيْعًا مُشَفَّعًا

allahumma waj`alhu li shafi`an mushaffa`an

O Allah, (please do) decide him as my interceder (before You) whose intercession for me is acceptable

[03:32.00]

وَ طَرِيْقًا اِلَيْكَ مَهْيَعًا

wa tariqan ilayka mahya`an

and as my clear path toward You,

[03:35.00]

وَ اجْعَلْنِيْ لَهُ مُتَّبِعًا

waj`alni lahu muttabi`an

and make me follow him

[03:39.00]

حَتّٰى اَلْقَاكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَنِّيْ رَاضِيًا

hatta alqaka yawma alqiyamati `anni radiyan

until I meet You on the Resurrection Day in such a state that You are pleased with me

[03:48.00]

وَ عَنْ ذُنُوْبِيْ غَاضِيًا

wa `an dhunubi ghadiyan

having overlooked my sins

[03:53.00]

قَدْ اَوْجَبْتَ لِيْ مِنْكَ الرَّحْمَةَ وَ الرِّضْوَانَ

qad awjabta li minka alrrahmata walrridwana

and confer upon me with Your mercy and good pleasure

[03:59.00]

وَ اَنْزَلْتَنِيْ دَارَ الْقَرَارِ وَ مَحَلَّ الْاَخْيَارِ۔

wa anzaltani dara alqarari wa mahalla al-akhyari

settling me in the Eternal Abode and the Place of the Righteous.
