It has been reported from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessing be upon his family): Whoever recites on the twelfth night of Sha’ban, a 12 (6×2) Rakat prayer, reciting in each unit Surah Fatiha once and Surah Takathur ten times. Allah would forgive the sins of forty years and grant him forty ranks of raise in rank. Forty-thousand angels would ask for forgiveness for him and he would have the reward of one who has experienced the Night of Destiny.
