الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِي أَكْرَمَنَا بِكَ

alhamdu lillahi alladhi akramana bika

All praise be to Allah Who has honored us with you,

أَيُّهَا ٱلشَّهْرُ ٱلْمُبَارَكُ

ayyuha alshshahru almubaraku

O blessed month.

[00:08.00]

اللَّهُمَّ فَقَوِّنَا عَلَىٰ صِيَامِنَا وَقِيَامِنَا

allahumma faqawwina `ala siyamina wa qiyamina

O Allah, (please do) grant us strength to observe fasting and practice acts of worship in this month,

[00:13.00]

وَثَبِّتْ أَقْدَامَنَا

wa thabbit aqdamana

make our steps firm,

[00:17.00]

وَٱنْصُرْنَا عَلَىٰ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْكَافِرِينَ

wansurna `ala alqawmi alkafirina

and assist us against the unbelieving people.

[00:21.00]

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ ٱلْوَاحِدُ فَلاَ وَلَدَ لَكَ

allahumma anta alwahidu fala wa lada laka

O Allah, You are surely the One; therefore, You have not son.

[00:27.00]

وَأَنْتَ ٱلصَّمَدُ فَلاَ شِبْهَ لَكَ

wa anta alssamadu fala shibha laka

You are the eternally Besought of all; therefore, nothing is like You.

[00:30.00]

وَأَنْتَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ فَلاَ يُعِزُّكَ شَيْءٌ

wa anta al`azizu fala yu`izzuka shay'un

You are the Almighty; therefore, nothing can overcome You.

[00:35.00]

وَأَنْتَ ٱلْغَنِيُّ وَأَنَا ٱلْفَقِيرُ

wa anta alghaniyyu wa ana alfaqiru

You are the Self-sufficient while I am poor.

[00:39.00]

وَأَنْتَ ٱلْمَوْلَىٰ وَأَنَا ٱلْعَبْدُ

wa anta almawla wa ana al`abdu

You are the Master while I am (Your) slave.

[00:43.00]

وَأَنْتَ ٱلْغَفُورُ وَأَنَا ٱلْمُذْنِبُ

wa anta alghafuru wa ana almudhnibu

You are the All-forgiving while I am sinful.

[00:47.00]

وَأَنْتَ ٱلرَّحِيمُ وَأَنَا ٱلْمُخْطِئُ

wa anta alrrahimu wa ana almukhti'u

You are the All-merciful while I am mistaken.

[00:51.00]

وَأَنْتَ ٱلْخَالِقُ وَأَنَا ٱلْمَخْلُوقُ

wa anta alkhaliqu wa ana almakhluqu

You are the Creator while I am (Your) creature.

[00:55.00]

وَأَنْتَ ٱلْحَيُّ وَأَنَا ٱلْمَيِّتُ

wa anta alhayyu wa ana almayyitu

You are the Ever-living while I am mortal.

[00:59.00]

أَسْأَلُكَ بِرَحْمَتِكَ

as'aluka birahmatika

I thus beseech You in the name of Your mercy

[01:01.00]

أَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي وَتَرْحَمَنِي وَتَتَجَاوَزَ عَنِّي

an taghfira li wa tarhamani wa tatajawaza `anni

to forgive me, have mercy upon me, and excuse my offenses.

[01:07.00]

إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

innaka `ala kulli shay'in qadirun

You have power over all things.
