بِسْمِ اﷲِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْم
Bismillāhi ar-Raḥmāni ar-Raḥīm
In the name of Allah the Beneficent the Merciful.
الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰہِ الَّذِیْ قَرَنَ رَجَآئِیْ بِعَفْوِہٖ وَ فَسَحَ اَمَلِیْ بِحُسْنِ تَجَاوُزِہٖ وَ صَفْحِہٖ وَ قُوَّیٰ مَتْنِیِ وَ ظَہْرِیْ وَ سَاعِدِیْ وَ یَدِیْ بِمَا عَرَّفَنِیْ مِنْ جُوْدِہٖ وَ کَرَمِہٖ
Alhamdu lillaahil-lazee qarana rajaa’ee bi ‘afwihi, wa fasaha amalee bi husni tajaa-wuzihi wa safhihi, wa qawwā matnee wa zahree wa saa‘idee wa yadee bimaa ‘arrafa-nee min joodihi wa karamihi.
Praise is for Allah Who has connected my wishes with His forgiveness. And has spread my desires with His mercy. Has strengthened my back and the shoulders by His Generosity and Recognitions.
وَلَمْ یُخْلِنِیْ مَعَ مَقَامِیْ عَلٰی مَعْصِیَتِہٖ وَ تَقْصِیْرِیْ فِیْ طَاعَتِہٖ وَمَا یُحِقُّ عَلَیَّ مِنْ اِعْتِقَادِ خَشْیَتِہٖ وَ اِسْتِشْعَارِ خِیْفَتِہٖ مِنْ تَوَاتُرِ مِنَنِہٖ وَ تَظَاہُرِ نِعَمِہٖ
Wa lam yukhlinī ma‘a maqāmī ‘alā ma‘ṣiyatihi wa taqṣīrī fī ṭā‘atihi wa mā yuḥiqqu ‘alayya min i‘tiqādi khashyatihi wa istish‘āri khīfatihi min tawāturi minanihi wa taẓāhuri ni‘amihi.
He has not left me without obligation and favours when I am involved in sins and disobedience. And was negligent in His obedience, and have not fulfilled the right of His fear and His chastisement.
وَ سُبْحَانَ اﷲِ الَّذِیْ یَتَوَکَّلُ کُلُّ مُؤْمِنٍ عَلَیْہِ وَ یَضْطَرُّ کُلُّ حَاجَۃٍ اِلَیْہِ وَلاَ یَسْتَغْنِیْ اَحَدٌ اِلاَّ بِفَضْلِ مَا لَدَیْہِ
Wa Subḥānal-lāhil-lazī yatawakkalu kullu mu’minin ‘alayh, wa yaḍṭarru kullu ḥājatin ilayh, wa lā yastaghnī aḥadun illā bi-faḍli mā ladayh.
Allah is Pure on whom the believers rely and are devoted to Him in all the condition. No one is independent of His grace.
وَلَآ اِلٰہَ اِلاَّ اﷲُ الْمُقِیْلُ عَلٰی مَنْ اَعْرَضَ عَنْ ذِکْرِہِ
Wa lā ilāha illallāh al-muqīlu ‘alā man a‘raḍa ‘an dhikrih.
There is no god except Allah who is attentive to the one who is negligent about Him.
التَّوَّابُ عَلٰی مَنْ تَابَ اِلَیْہِ مِنْ عَظِیْمِ ذَنْبِہٖ السَّاخِطُ عَلٰی مَنْ قَنَطَ مِنْ وَاسِعِ رَحْمَتِہٖ وَ یَئِسَ مِنْ عَاجِلِ رَوْحِہٖ
At-Tawwābu ‘alā man tāba ilayhi min ‘aẓīmi zambih, as-sākhiṭu ‘alā man qanaṭa min wāsi‘i raḥmatih, wa ya’isa min ‘ājili rawḥih.
Who accepts the repentance of the one who does sins excessively.And He is displeased on the one who has lost hopes of His Vast Blessings and Mercy,
وَاﷲُ اَکْبَرُ خَالِقُ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَمَالِکُہُ وَ مُبِیْدُ کُلِّ شَیْءٍ وَمُہْلِکُہٗ وَاﷲُ اَکْبَرُ کَبِیْرًا کَمَا ہُوَ اَہْلُہٗ وَ مُسْتَحِقَّہٗ
Wa Allāhu Akbaru khāliqu kulli shay’in wa mālikuhu, wa mubeedu kulli shay’in wa muhlikuh, wa Allāhu Akbaru kabīran kamā huwa ahluhū wa mustaḥiqqahū.
and Allah is above all the things, Creator and Lord of all the things, the eradicator and destroyer of all the things and Allah is Great, the greatness which He deserves and it befits Him.
اَللّٰہُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِکَ وَ نَبِیِّکَ وَ رَسُوْلِکَ وَ اَمِیْنِکَ وَ شَاہِدِکَ التَّقِیِّ النَّقِیِّ وَ عَلٰی اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ الطَّیِّبِیْنَ الطَّاہِرِیْنَ
Allāhumma ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad ‘abdika wa nabiyyika wa rasūlika wa amīnika wa shāhidika at-taqiyyin-naqiyy, wa ‘alā āli Muḥammadin aṭ-ṭayyibīn aṭ-ṭāhirīn.
O Allah send blessings on Mohammad Your servant, Your prophet, Your messenger, Your trustworthy, Your witness, Pure and noble and on his progeny the Purified.
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ سُؤَالَ مُعْتَرِفٍ بِذَنْبِہٖ نَادِمٍ عَلٰی اِقْتِرَافِ تَبِعَتِہٖ
Allāhumma innī as’aluka su’āla mu‘tarifin bi-zanbihī, nādimin ‘alā iqtirāfi tab‘atihī.
O Allah! I ask You like the one who has confessed his sins and like the one who has followed the evil desires and is now ashamed of it,
وَ اَنْتَ اَوْلٰی مَنِ اعْتُمِدَ وَ عَفِیَ وَ جَادَ بِالْمَغْفِرَۃِ مَنْ ظَلَمَ وَ اَسَآءَ فَقَدْ اَوْ بَقَتْنِیْ الذُّنُوْبُ فِیْ مَہَادِیْ الْہَلَکَۃِ وَ اَحَاطَتْ بِہِ الْاٰثَامُ وَ بَقَیْتُ غَیْرَ مُسْتَقِلٍّ بِہَا
Wa anta awlā man i‘tumida wa ‘afā wa jāda bil-maghfirati man ẓalama wa asā’a, faqad awbaqatnī adh-dhunūbu fī mahādi al-halākah, wa aḥāṭat bihil-āthām, wa baqītu ghayra mustaqillin bihā.
and You are the one who can be depended upon for forgiveness, and the best for the sinners and evil doers because the sins have pushed in the dark valley of destruction, and is surrounded by errors and mistakes now the position is such that I cannot consider the sins as insignificant.
وَ اَنْتَ الْمُرْتَجٰی وَ عَلَیْکَ مُعَوَّلُ فِی الشِّدَۃِ وَ الرَّخَآءِ وَ اَنْتَ مَلْجَأَ الْخَآئِفِ الْغَرِیْقِ وَ اَرْئَفُ مِنْ کُلِّ شَفِیْقٍ وَ اِلَیْکَ قَصَدْتُ
Wa anta al-murtajā wa ‘alayka mu‘awwalun fī ash-shiddati wa ar-rakhā’, wa anta malja’a al-khā’ifi al-gharīq, wa ar’afu min kulli shafīq, wa ilayka qaṣadtu
Now You are the only place of hope and in hardships and ease You are the one on whom I rely. You are the refuge for the fearful who are drowning, and the Merciful of all other merciful.
سَیِّدِیْ وَ اَنْتَ مُنْتَہَی الْقَصْدِ لِلْقَاصِدِیْنَ وَ اَرْحَمُ مَنِ اسْتُرْحِمَ فِیْ تَجَاوُزِکَ عَنِ الْمُذْنِبِیْنَ
Sayyidī wa anta muntahā al-qaṣdi lil-qāṣidīn, wa arḥamu man isturḥima fī tajāwuzika ‘ani al-mudhnibīn.
O my Lord! I am presenting myself to You attentively, because You are the climax for those who seek and the most Merciful to accept the prayers of the sinners.
اَللّٰہُمَّ اَنْتَ الَّذِیْ لاَ یَتَعَاظَمُکَ غُفْرَانُ الذُّنُوْبِ وَ کَشْفُ الْکُرُوْبِ وَ اَنْتَ عَلاَّمُ الْغُیُوْبِ
Allāhumma anta alladhī lā yata‘āẓamuka ghufrānu adh-dhunūb, wa kashfu al-kurūb, wa anta ‘allāmu al-ghuyūb.
O Allah! It is not difficult for You to forgive the sins and cure the sorrow, although You are well aware of the hidden things,
وَ سَتَّارُ الْعُیُوْبِ وَ کَشَّافُ الْکُرُوْبِ لِاَنَّکَ الْبَاقِیْ الرَّحِیْمُ الَّذِیْ تَسَرْبَلْتَ بِالرُّبُوْبِیَّۃِ وَ تَوَحَّدْتَ
Wa sattāru al-‘uyūb, wa kashshāfu al-kurūb, li-annaka al-bāqī ar-raḥīm, alladhī tasarbalta bir-rubūbiyyah wa tawahhadta.
You are the concealer of defects, and the one to ward off the difficulties, because You are powerful, Everlasting and Merciful and Who has worn the dress of Godhood and has accepted the divinity of oneness.
بِالْاِلٰہِیَّۃِ وَ تَنَزَّہْتَ بِالْحَیْثُوْثِیَّۃِ فَلَمْ یَجِدْکَ وَاصِفٌ مَحْدُوْدَا بِالْکَیْفُوْفِیَّۃِ
Bil-ilāhiyyah wa tanazzahta bil-ḥaythūthiyyah, fa lam yajidka wāṣifun maḥdūdan bil-kaifūfiyyah.
Now You are the pure from the status of nature, so nobody can explain You by Your attributes
وَلاَ تَقَعْ فِیْ الْاَوْہَامِ بِالْمَآئِیَّۃِ وَالْحَیْنُوْنِیَّۃِ فَلَکَ الْحَمْدُ عَدَدَ نَعْمَآئِکَ عَلَی الْاَنَامِ
Wa lā taqa‘ fī al-awhām bil-mā’iyyah wa al-ḥaynūniyyah, fa laka al-ḥamdu ‘adada na‘mā’ika ‘ala al-anām.
and the imagination of a man cannot comprehend You and the praise of people equal to the number of Your Bounties
وَ لَکَ الشُّکْرُ عَلٰی کُرُوْرِ اللَّیَالِیْ وَالْاَیَّام
Wa laka ash-shukru ‘alā kurūri al-layālī wa al-ayām.
and Your thankfulness equal to the number of rotation of day and night.
اِلٰہِیْ بِیَدِکَ وَالْخَیْرُ وَ اَنْتَ وَلِیُّہٗ مُنِیْحُ الرَّغَآئِبِ وَ غَایَۃُ الْمَطَالَبِ اَتَقَرَّبُ اِلَیْکَ بِسَعَۃِ رَحْمَتِکَ الَّتِیْ وَ سِعَتْ کُلَّ شَیْءٍ فَقَدْ تَرٰی
Ilāhī, biyadika wal-khayru wa anta waliyyuhū, munīḥu ar-raghā’ib wa ghāyatu al-maṭālib. Ataqarrabu ilayka bi-sa‘ati raḥmatika allatī wasi‘at kulla shay’in, faqad tarā.
O Allah all the goodness are in Your Power, and You are their Lord, the bestower of the cherished bounties. You are the climax of aims, for the sake of Your vast Mercy I seek nearness to You in which there is a place for everything.
یَا رَبِّ مَکَانِیْ وَ تَطَّلِعُ عَلٰی ضَمِیْرِیْ وَ تَعْلَمُ سِرِّیْ وَلاَ یَخْفٰی عَلَیْکَ اَمْرِیْ وَ اَنْتَ اَقْرَبُ اِلَیَّ مِنْ حَبْلِ الْوَرِیْدِ فَتُبْ عَلَیَّ لاَ اَعُوْذُ بَعْدَہَا فِیْمَا یُسْخِطُکَ وَاغْفِرِلِیْ مَغْفِرَۃً لاَ اَرْجِعُ مَعَہَا اِلٰی مَعْصِیَتِکَ یَا اَکْرَمَ الْاَکْرَمِیْنَ
Yā Rabbī makānī wa taṭṭali‘u ‘alā ḍamīrī wa ta‘lamu sirrī wa lā yakhfā ‘alayka amrī, wa anta aqrabu ilayya min ḥabli al-warīd, fa tub ‘alayya, lā a‘ūd ba‘dahā fīmā yuskhiṭuka, waghfir lī maghfiratan lā arji‘u ma‘ahā ilā ma‘ṣiyatika, yā akrama al-akramīn.
O Allah! You are witnessing my status, aware of my heart, my affairs are not concealed from You, and You are more nearer to me than my jugular vein, so please accept my repentance by which I cannot repeat those actions again which displeases You, and grant me such a pardon after which I don't indulge in sins O the most Honourable of all the Honourables.
اِلٰہِیْ اَنْتَ الَّذِیْ اَصْلَحْتَ قُلُوْبَ الْمُفْسِدِیْنَ فَصَلَحَتْ بِاِصْلاَحِکَ اِیَّاہَا فَاَصْلِحِنِیْ بِاِصْلاَحِکَ
Ilāhī anta alladhī aṣlaḥta qulūba al-mufsidīn faṣalaḥat bi-iṣlāḥika iyyāhā, fa-aṣliḥnī bi-iṣlāḥika.
O my Lord, You have reformed the corrupted hearts and they have changed and You are the one to oblige the deviated ones and guide them by Your Guidance,
وَ اَنْتَ الَّذِیْ مَنَنْتَ عَلَی الضَّآلِّیْنَ فَہَدَیْتَہُمْ بِرُشْدِکَ عَنِ الضَّلاَلَۃِ وَ عَلَی الْجَاحِدِیْنَ عَنْ قَصْدِکَ فَسَدَدْتَہُمْ وَ قَوَّمْتَ مِنْہُمْ عَثْرَالزَّلَلِ فَمَنَحْتَہُمْ مُحَبَّتَکَ
Wa anta alladhī mananta ‘ala aḍ-ḍāllīn fa-hadaytahum birushdika ‘ani aḍ-ḍalālah, wa ‘ala al-jāḥidīn ‘an qaṣdika fa-sadadtahum, wa qawwamtaminhum ‘athr az-zalal, fa-manaḥtahum muḥabbatak.
and reinstate those deviated from the right path and change their wrong deeds and laxity grant them Your love,
وَ جَنَّبْتَہُمْ مَعْصِیَتَکَ وَ اَدْرَجْتَہُمْ دَرَجَ الْمَغْفُوْرِ لَہُمْ وَ اَحْلَلْتَہُمْ مَحَلَّ الْفَآئِزِیْنَ
Wa jannabtahum ma‘ṣiyatak, wa adrajtahum daraja al-maghfūri lahum, wa aḥlaltahum maḥalla al-fā’izīn.
saved them from Your disobedience, bestowed on them the status of good doers, put them among the successful people,
فَاَسْئَلُکَ یَا مَوْلاَیَ اَنْ تُلْحِقَنِیْ بِہِمْ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ
Fa as’aluka yā mawlāya an tulḥiqanī bihim, yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīn.
O Lord, O the most merciful of all the merciful, attach me together with those people.
اَللّٰہُمَّ اِنِّیْ اَسْئَلُکَ اَنْ تُصَلِّیَ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اَنْ تَرْزُقْنِیْ رِزْقًا وَاسِعًا حَلٰلاً طَیِّبًا فِیْ عَافِیَۃٍ وَ عَمَلاً یُقِرِّبُ اِلَیْکَ یَا خَیْرَ مَسْئُوْلٍ
Allāhumma innī as’aluka an tuṣalliya ‘alā Muḥammadin wa āli Muḥammad, wa an tarzuqanī rizqan wāsi‘an ḥalālan ṭayyiban fī ‘āfiyah, wa ‘amalan yuqarribu ilayk, yā khayra mas’ūl.
O Allah I seek of You to send Blessings on Mohammad and the progeny of Mohammad and increase my sustenance the clean, pure and safe and grant me the initiative to do those actions which makes me nearer to You,
اَللّٰہُمَّ وَ اَتَضَرَّعُ اَلِیْکَ ضَرَاعَۃً مُقِرٍّ عَلٰی نَفْسِہٖ بِالْہَفَوَاتِ اَتُوْبُ اِلَیْکَ یَا تَوَّابُ فَلاَ تَرُدُّنِیْ خَآئِبًا جَزِیْلِ عَطَآئِکَ یَا وَہَّابُ فَقَدِیْمًا جَدْتَ عَلٰی الْمُذْنِبِیْنَ بِالْمَغْفِرَۃِ وَ سَتَرْتَ عَلٰی عَبِیْدِکَ قَبِیْحَاتِ الْفِعَالِ۔
Allāhumma wa atadhaṛṛa‘u ilayka ḍarā‘atan muqirrin ‘alā nafsihi bil-hafawāt, atūbu ilayka yā Tawwāb, fa lā taruddunī khā’iban, jazīla ‘aṭā’ika yā Wahhāb, faqadīman jadta ‘alā al-mudhnibīn bil-maghfirah, wa satarta ‘alā ‘abīdika qabīḥāti al-fi‘āl.
O Allah I present my helplessness as the one who is helpless and has accepted his deviation. O the one who forgives, I repent to You, O the bestower of abundance bounties, do not make me unsuccessful due to my low deeds, O the most High and Majestic, You have always dealt with the sinners by forgiveness, please conceal the evil deeds of this despised soul.
یَا جَلِیْلُ یَا مُتَعَالُ۔ اَتَوَجَّہُ اِلَیْکَ بِمَنْ اَوْجَبْتَ حَقَّہُ عَلَیَّ اِذْلَمْ یَکُنْ لِیْ مِنَ الْخَیْرِ مَا اَتَوَجَّہُ بِہٖ اِلَیْکَ
Yā Jalīlu yā Muta‘āl. Atawajjahu ilayka biman awjabta ḥaqqahu ‘alayya, idh lam yakun lī mina al-khayri mā atawajjahu bih ilayk.
O Lord, I have directed my attention towards You, by the right which You have made obligatory on me, because I don't have any good deed with which I can present myself,
وَ حَالَتِ الذُّنُوْبُ بَیْنِیْ وَ بَیْنَ الْمُحْسِنِیْنَ
Wa ḥālatidh-dhunūbu baynī wa baynal-muḥsinīn.
the evils deeds are a barrier between me and the pious people,
وَ اِذْ لَمْ یُوْجِبَ لِیْ عَمَلِیْ مُرَافَقَۃَ النَّبِیّٖنَ فَلاَ تُرَدَّ
Wa idh lam yūjib lī ‘amalī murāfaqata an-nabiyyīn, fa lā turadd.
and as my deeds are not such that can make me the companions of Your Prophets so by the names which I have beseeched You, You make me turn towards them,
سَیِّدِیْ تَوَجُّہِیْ بِمَنْ تَوَجَّہْتُ اَتَخْذُلُنِیْ رِبِّیْ وَ اَنْتَ اَمَلِیْ؟اَمْ تُرَدُ یَدِیْ صِفْرًا مِنَ الْعَفْوِ وَ اَنْتَ مُنْتَہٰی رَغْبَتِیْ!
Sayyidī tawajjuhī biman tawajjjahtu, atakhzulu-nī rabbī wa anta amalī? Am turaddu yadī ṣifran min al-‘afwi wa anta muntahā raghbatī!
O my Lord, will You turn me unsuccessful whereas You are my hope and will You return me back empty handed?
یَا مَنْ ہُوَ مَوْجُوْدٌ مَوْصُوْفٌ مَعْرُوْفٌ بِالْجُوْدِ وَالْخَلْقُ لَہٗ عَبِیْدٌ وَاِلَیْہِ مَرَدُّ الْاُمُوْرِ
Yā man huwa mawjūdun mawsūfun ma‘rūfun bil-jūd, wal-khalqu lahu ‘abīd, wa ilayhi maraddu al-umūr.
In fact You are my initial hope. O He Who is present and famous for Generosity, the affairs of entire creation will ultimately return in Your presence.
فَصَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ جُدْ عَلَیَّ بِاِحْسَانِکَ الَّذِیْ فِیْہِ الْغِنٰی عَنِ الْقَرِیْبِ وَالْبَعِیْدِ وَالْاَعْدَآءِ وَالْاِخْوَانِ وَالْاَخَوَاتِ وَالْحِقْنِیْ بِالَّذِیْنَ غَمَّرْتَہُمْ بِسَعَۃِ تَطَوُّلِکَ وَ کَرَامَتِکَ لَہُمْ وَ تَطَوُّلِکَ عَلَیْہِمْ وَ جَعَلْتَہُمْ اَطَآئِبَ اَبْرَارًا اَتْقِیَآئً اَخْیَارًا وَ لِنَبِیِّکَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّی اﷲ عَلَیْہِ وَ اٰلِہٖ وَ سَلَّمَ فِیْ دَارِکَ جِیْرَانًا وَاغْفِرِلِیْ وَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ وَ الْمُؤْمِنٰتِ مَعَ الْاٰبَآءِ وَالْاُمَّہَاتِ وَالْاِخْوَانِ وَ الْاَخَوَاتِ یَا اَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِیْنَ۔
Fa ṣalli ‘alā Muḥammad wa āli Muḥammad, wa jud ‘alayya bi-iḥsānika alladhī fīhi al-ghinā ‘ani al-qarīb wa al-ba‘īd wa al-a‘dā’ wa al-ikhwān wa al-akhawāt, wa alḥiqnī bi-alladhīna ghammartahum bi-sa‘ati taṭawwulika wa karāmatika lahum wa taṭawwulika ‘alayhim, wa ja‘altahum aṭā’ib a-brāran atqiyā’an akhyāran, wa li-nabiyyika Muḥammad ṣallallāhu ‘alayhi wa ālihi wa sallama fī dārika jīrānan, wa-ghfir lī wa lil-mu’minīna wa al-mu’mināti ma‘a al-ābā’ wa al-ummahāt wa al-ikhwān wa al-akhawāt, yā arḥama ar-rāḥimīn.
Send blessings on Mohammad and his progeny and oblige me by making me self sufficient from those who are near, far, rivals, brothers, sisters, and include me among those whom Your mercy covers. Your signs are reserved for them, and Your favours are exclusively for them, You have created them pure, doers of good, pious and great.Make me reach Your prophet Mohammad Mustafa peace be on him and his progeny because he is on a station which is very nearer to You and O the Beneficent and the Merciful forgive me and the believers and their parents and their brothers and sisters.
