بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ.

Bismil Laahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الْقائِمِ الدَّائِمِ الْحَكيمِ الْكَريمِ

al-hamdo lillaahil qaa-emid daa-emil hakeemil kareemil

Praise belongs to Allah the Existing, the Everlasting, the All-forbearing, the All-generous,

الْاَوَّلِ الْاخِرِ الظّاهِرِ الْباطِنِ

awwalil aakheriz zaaheril baatenil

“…the First, the Last, the Manifest, the Hidden...” (57:3)

الْواحِدِ الْاَحَدِ الصَّمِدِالَّذي لَمْ يَلِدْ وَ لَمْ يُولَدْ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفُوَاً اَحَدٌ

waahedil ahadis samadil lazee lam yalid wa lam yoolad wa lam yakul lahu kofowan ahadun

The One, the Only who “He does not beget, nor is He begotten, and there is no one like Him ” (112:3-4)

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الْهادِي الْعَدْلِ الْحَقِّ الْمُبينِ

alhamdo lillaahil haadil a’dlil haqqil mobeene

Praise belongs to Allah, the Guide, the Just, “...the manifest Truth” (24:25)

ذِي الْفَضْلِ الْكَريمِ الْعَظيمِ

zil fazlil kareemil a’zeemil

Possessor of generous bounty, the All-Mighty

الْمُنْعِمِ الْمُكْرِمِ الْقابِضِ الْباسِطِ ذِي الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتينِ، ذِي الْفَضْلِ وَ الْمَنِّ

mun-e’mil mokarremil qaabezil baasete zil quwwatil mateene zil fazle wal manne

the Benefactor, the Munificent, the Straitener, the Outspreader, “...the Possessor of Power, the Strong” (51:58), Possessor of Bounty and Bestowal

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الْوارِثِ الْوَكيلِ الشَّهيدِ

al-hamdo lillaahil waaresil wakeelish shaheedir

Praise belongs to Allah, the Inheritor, the Guardian,

الرَّقيبِ الْمُجيبِ، الْمُحيطِ الْحَفيظِ الرَّقيبِ

raqeebil mojeebil moheetil hafeezir raqeebil

the All-Witnessing, the Answerer, the All-Encompassing, the Preserver, the Watcher

الْمانِعِ الْفاتِحِ، الْمُعْطِي الْمُبْتَلِي

maane-i’l faatehil mo’til mubtalil

the Prohibitor, the Judge, the Bestower, the One Who tests,

الْمُحْيي الْمُميتِ، ذِي الْجلالِ وَ الْاِكْرامِ

mohyil momeete zil jalaale wal ikraame

the Giver of life, the Causer of death, “...Possessor of Majesty and Grace” (55:78)

اَهْلِ التَّقْوى وَ اَهْلِ الْمَغْفِرَةِ

ahlat taqwaa wa ahlil maghferate

"...Worthy of being feared and Worthy to forgive” (74:56)

ذِي الْمَعارِجِ، تَعْرُجُ الْمَلائِكَةُ وَ الرُّوحُ اِلَيْهِ

zil ma-a’areje ta’rojul malaa-ekato war rooho elayhe

“...the Lord of the ways of ascent; to Him the angels and the Spirit ascend...” (70:3-4)

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ الرَّازِقِ الْبارِي ءِ الرَّحيمِ ذِي الرَّحْمَةِ الْواسِعَةِ

alhamdo lillaahir raazeqil baare-irraheeme zir rahmatil waase-a’te

Praise belongs to Allah, the Provider, the Originator, the All-Merciful, Possessor of “...All-Embracing Mercy...” (6:147)

وَ النِّعَمِ السَّابِغَةِ، وَ الْحُجَّةِ الْبالِغَةِ

wan nea’mis saabeghate wal hujjatil baaleghate

Ample blessings, “...the decisive argument...” (6:149)

وَ الْاَمْثالِ الْعُلْيا، وَ اْلاَسْماءِ الْحُسْنى

wal amsaalil u’lyaa wal asmaa-il husnaa

the loftiest likenesses and the Most Beautiful Names

شَديدِ الْقُوى، فالِقِ الْاِصْباحِ

shadeedil qowaa faaleqil isbaahe

Severe in might; "He splits the sky into dawn...” (6:96)

فالِقِ الْحَبِّ وَ النَّوى

faaleqal habbe wan nawaa

"He splits the grain and the date-stone..." (6:95)

يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَ يُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ

yukhrejul hayya menal mayyte wa yukhrejul mayyeta menal hayye

“...He brings forth the living from the dead; He brings forth the dead from the living...” (6:95)

وَ يُدَبِّرُ الْاَمْرَ

wa yodabberul amra

And “...He regulates the affair...” (10:3)

فالِقِ الْاِصْباحِ، وَ جاعِلِ الَّليْلِ سَكَناً وَ الشَّمْسِ وَ الْقَمَرِ حُسْباناً ذلِكَ تَقديرُ الْعَزيزِ الْعَليمِ

faaleqil isbaahe wa jaa-e’lil layle sakanan wash shamse wal qamare husbaanan zaaleka taqdeerul a’zeezil a’leem

“He splits the sky into dawn, and has made the night for rest, and the sun and the moon for reckoning, that is the measuring of the All-mighty, the All-knowing” (6:96)

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ رَفيعِ الدَّرَجاتِ ذِي الْعَرْشِ يُلْقِي الرُّوحَ مِنْ اَمْرِهِ عَلى مَنْ يَشاءُ مِنْ عِبادِهِ

al-hamdo lillaahe rafee-i’d darajaate zil a’rshe yulqir rooha min amrehi a’laa manyyashaa-o min e’baadehi

Praise belongs to Allah “Exalter of ranks is He, Lord of the Throne, He sends the Spirit by His command upon whomsoever He wills of His servants...” (40:15)

فاعِلِ كُلِّ صالِحٍ، رَبِّ الْعِبادِ

faa-e’le kulle saalehin rabbil e’baade

Performer of every good, Lord of mankind,

وَ رَبِّ الْبِلادِ وَ اِلَيْهِ الْمَعادُ

wa rabbil belaade wa elayhil ma-a’ado

and Lord of the lands, to Him is the return

وَ هُوَ بِالْمَنْظَرِ الْاَعْلى

wa howa bil-manzaril aa’laa

and He is of the Station most high.

يَعْلَمُ ما تَكْسِبُ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ

ya’lamo maa taksebo kullo nafsin

“...He knows what every soul earns...” (13:42)

غافِرِ الذَّنْبِ وَ قابِلِ التَّوْبِ شَديدِ الْعِقابِ ذِي الطَّوْلِ لا اِلهَ اِلاَّ هُو اِلَيْهِ الْمَصيرُ

ghaaferiz zanbe wa qaabelit tawbe shadeedil e’qaabe zit tawle laa elaaha illaa howa elayhil maseero

“Forgiver of sins, Acceptor of repentance, severe in chastisement, Lord of Bounty, there is no god but He, and to Him is the ultimate end”. (40:3)

شَديدِ الْمِحالِ

shadeedil mehaale

“...mighty in power” (13:13)

سَريعِ الْحِسابِ

saree-i’l hesaabil

“...quick at the reckoning” (3:19)

الْقائِمِ بِالْقِسْطِ

qaa-eme bilqiste

Upholder of justice

اِذا قَضى اَمْراً فَاِنَّما يَقُولُ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ

ezaa qazaa amran fa-innamaa yaqoolo lahu kun fayakoono

“...when He decrees a thing He only say to it 'Be', and it is.” (3:47)

باسِطِ الْيَدَيْنِ بِالْخَيْرِ وَهَّابِ الْخَيْرِ كَيْفَ يَشاءُ

baasetil yadayne bil-khayre wahhaabil khayre kayfa yashaa-o

Outspreader of the good, Bestower of bounty howsoever He wills

لا يَخيبُ سائِلُهُ وَ لايَنْدَمُ امِلُهُ

laa yakheebo saa-elohu wa laa yandamo aamelohu

The one who asks of Him is not disappointed, nor is the one who has hope in Him regretful

وَ لايَضيقُ رَحْمَتُهُ، وَ لاتُحْصى نِعْمَتُهُ

wa laa yazeeqo rahmatohu wa laa tohsaa ne’matohu

His Mercy is not straitened, nor can His blessings be enumerated

وَعْدُهُ حَقٌّ، وَ هُوَ اَحْكَمُ الْحاكِمينَ

wa’dohu haqqun wa howa ahkamul haakemeena

His promise is true and He is “…the most just of judges.” (11:45)

وَ اَسْرَعُ الْحاسِبينَ

wa asra-u’l haasebeena

the “...most swift of reckoners.” (6:62)

وَ اَوْسَعُ الْمُفْضِلينَ

wa awsau’l mufzeleena

and the Most Generous of the bountiful

واسِعِ الْفَضْلِ شَديدِ الْبَطْشِ

waase-u’l fazle shadeedul batshe

Ample in bounty, Terrible in assault

حُكْمُهُ عَدْلٌ وَ هُوَ لِلْحَمْدِ اَهْلٌ

hukmohu a’dlun, wa howa lil-hamde ahlun

His Judgement is just and He is worthy of Praise

صادِقُ الْوَعْدِ يُعْطِي الْخَيْرَ

saadequl wa’de, yo’til khayra

“...true to His promise...” (19:54), He gives the good

وَ يَقْضي بِالْحَقِّ وَ يَهْدِي السَّبيلَ

wa yaqzee bil-haqqe wa yahdis sabeela

and “...decides justly...” (40:20), “...He guides on the way” (33:4)

وَ يَهْدي مَنْ يَشاءُ اِلى صِراطٍ مُسْتَقيمٍ

wa yahdee man yashaa-o elaa seraatin mustaqeemin

“...and He guides whomsoever He wills to a right path.” (10:25)

واسِعِ الْمَغْفِرَةِ وَ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْ ءٌ

waa-seu’l maghferate laysa kamislehi shay-un

“...vast in forgiveness...” (53:32), “...like Him there is naught...” (42:11)

خَلَقَ السَّماواتِ وَ الْاَرْضَ

khalaqas samaawaate wal arza

He “...created the heavens and the earth...” (6:73)

وَ الْمَوْتَ وَ الْحَياةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ اَيُّكُمْ اَحْسَنُ عَمَلاً وَ هُوَ الْعَزيزُ الْغَفُورُ

wal mawta wal hayaata leyablowakum ayyokum ahsano a’malan wa howal a’zeezul ghafooro

and “...death and life, that He might try you (as to) who of you is best in deeds, and He is the Ever-prevalent, the Oft-forgiving.” (67:2)

جَميلُ الثَّناءِ حَسَنُ الْبَلاءِ

jameelus sanaa-e hasanul balaa-e

Fair in praise and goodly in trial,

سَميعُ الدُّعاءِ عَدْلُ الْقَضاءِ

samee-u’d doa’a-e a’dlul qazaa-e

“...Hearer of the prayer” (14:39), Just in judgement

يَفْعَلُ ما يَشاءُ وَ لَهُ الْعِزَّةُ وَ لَهُ الْكِبْرِياءُ

yaf-a’lo maa yashaao wa lahul i’zzato wa lahul kibreyaa-o

“...He does what He wills” (3:40) and His is the Glory and the Praise,

وَ لَهُ الْجَبَرُوتُ وَ لَهُ الْعَظَمَةُ

wa lahul jabarooto wa lahul a’zamato

and His is the Power, the Grandeur and the Might

يُنَزِّلُ الْغَيْثَ، وَ يَعْلَمُ الْغَيْبَ

yonazzelul ghaysa wa ya’lamul ghayba

“...He sends down the rain...” (31:34), He knows the unseen,

وَ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ لِمَنْ يَشاءُ

wa yabsotur rizqa leman yashaa-o

and “...He outspreads sustenance for whomsoever He wills...” (13:26)

وَ يُرْسِلُ الرِّياحَ

wa yurselur reyaaha

and He “...looses the winds...” (7:57)

وَ يُنْشِي ءُ السَّحابَ الثِّقالَ

wa yunshe-us sahaabas seqaala

and “…raises the heavy clouds.” (13:12)

وَ يُدَبِّرُ الْاَمْرَ

wa yodabberul amra

“...regulates the affair...” (13:2)

وَ يُجيبُ الْمُضْطَرَّ اِذا دَعاهُ

wa yojeebul muztarra ezaa da-a’aho

“...answers the constrained when he calls unto Him...” (27:62)

وَ يُجيبُ الدَّاعِيَ وَ يَكْشِفُ السُّوءَ

wa yojeebud daae’e wa yakshefus soo-a

answers the caller, “...removes the distress...” (27:62)

وَيُعْطِي السَّائِلَ

wa yo’tis saaela

and gives the beggar.

لا مانِعَ لِما اَعْطى وَ لا مُعْطِيَ لِما مَنَعَ

laa maane-a’l lemaa a-a’taawa laa mo’teya lemaa manaa’

There is no withholder of that which He gives, nor any giver of that which He withholds,

وَ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْ ءٌ وَ هُوَ السَّميعُ الْبَصيرُ

wa laysa kamislehi shay-un wa howas sameee-u’l baseero

“…there is nothing whatsoever like unto Him; He is All-Hearing, All-seeing.” (42:11)

يا مَنْ تَقَدَّسَتْ اَسْماؤُهُ

yaa many-taqaddasat asmaa-ohu

O He Whose Names are sanctified,

لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَ الْأَمْرُ تَبارَكَ اللهُ رَبُّ الْعالِمينَ

lahul khalqo wal amro tabaarakal laaho rabbul a’alameena

“...His are the creation and the command, Blessed be Allah, the Lord of the worlds.” (7:54)

وَ جَلَّ ثَناؤُهُ وَ وَسِعَتْ رَحْمَتُهُ كُلَّ شَيْ ءٍ

wa jalla sanaa-ohu wa wase-a’t rahmatohu kulla shay-in

majestic is His Praise, His Mercy encompasses everything,

وَ هِيَ ظاهِرَةٌ وَ باطِنَةٌ بِجُودِهِ

wa heya zaaheratun wabaatenatun bejoodehi

and it is manifest and hidden through His Generosity

وَ هُوَ اَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمينَ

wa howa arhamur raahemeen

“...and He is the Most merciful of the merciful.” (12:64)

اَللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ الِ مُحَمَّدٍ

allaahumma salle a’laa mohammadin wa aale mohammdin

O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad,

وَ اَنْ تَغْفِرَ لَنا ما مَضى مِنْ ذُنُوبِنا

wa an taghfera lanaa maa mazaa min zonoobenaa

and forgive us what is past of our sins

وَ تَعْصِمَنا فيما بَقِيَ مِنْ عُمْرِنا

wa ta’semanaa feemaa baqeya min u’mrenaa

and protect us (from sin) in what remains of our lives

اَللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ خَيْرَ اَعْمالِنا خَواتِمَها

allaahummaj a’l khayra a-a’maalenaa khawaatemahaa

O Allah, make the best of our actions those that come at the end,

وَ خَيْرَ اَيَّامِنا يَوْمَ لِقائِكَ

wa khayra ayyaamenaa yawma leqaa-eka

and the best of our days the day of meeting You

اَللَّهُمَّ مُنَّ عَلَيْنا في هذِهِ السَّاعَةِ

allaahumma munna a’laynaa fee haazehis saa-a’te

O Allah, bestow on us in this hour,

في جَميعِ ما تَسْتَقْبِلُ

fee jamee-e’ maa tastaqbelo

in all that we encounter in this day of ours

مِنْ نَهارِنا بِالتَّوْبَةِ وَ السَّعادَةِ وَ الْمَغْفِرَةِ

min nahaarenaa bittawbate was saa’adate wal maghferate

forgiveness, happiness, pardon,

وَ التَّوْفيقِ وَ النَّجاةِ مِنَ النَّارِ

wat tawfeeqe wannajaate menan naare

success and salvation from the Fire

اَللَّهُمَّ ابْسُطْ لَنا في اَرْزاقِنا

allaahumma absut lanaa fee arzaaqenaa

O Allah, expand for us our provision,

وَ بارِكْ لَنا في اَعْمارِنا

wa baarik lanaa fee aa’maarenaa

bless us in our lives

وَ احْرُسْنا مِنَ الْاَسْواءِ وَ الضَّرّاءِ

wah rusnaa menal aswaae waz zarraa-e

guard us from evil and harm

وَ اتِنا بِالْفَرَجِ وَ الرَّخاءِ

wa aatenaa bil-faraje war rakhaa-e

and grant us release (from distress) and ease

اِنَّكَ سَميعُ الدُّعاءِ لَطيفٌ لِما تَشاءُ

innaka samee-u’d do-a’a-e lateefun lemaa tashaa-o

“...Surely, You are the hearer of the prayer” (3:38) and are All-gracious to what You will.
