اَللَّهُمَّ اِنّي اَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ هذَا الشَّهْرِ،

Allahumma inni as'aluka khayra hadha ash-shahr,

O Allah, I ask You for the goodness of this month.

وَ نُورَهُ وَ نَصْرَهُ وَ بَرَكَتَهُ وَ طَهُورَهُ وَ رِزْقَهُ،

Wa nurahu wa nasrahu wa barakatahu wa tahurahu wa rizqahu,

And its light, its victory, its blessings, its purification, and its sustenance.

وَ اَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ ما فيهِ وَ خَيْرَ ما بَعْدَهُ،

Wa as'aluka khayra ma fihi wa khayra ma ba'dah,

And I ask You for the best of what is in it and the best of what comes after it.

وَ اَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ ما فيهِ وَ شَرِّ ما بَعْدَهُ.

Wa a'udhu bika min sharri ma fihi wa sharri ma ba'dah.

And I seek refuge in You from the evil of what is in it and the evil of what comes after it.

اَللَّهُمَّ اَدْخِلْهُ عَلَيْنا بِالْاَمْنِ وَ الْايمانِ،

Allahumma adkhilhu 'alayna bil-amni wal-iman,

O Allah, bring it upon us with security and faith.

وَ السَّلامَةِ وَ الْاِسْلامِ، وَ الْبَرَكَةِ وَ التَّقْوى،

Was-salamati wal-islam, wal-barakati wat-taqwa,

And with safety and Islam, with blessings and piety.

وَ التَّوْفيقِ لِما تُحِبُّ وَ تَرْضى.

Wat-tawfiqi lima tuhibbu wa tardha.

And with success in what You love and are pleased with.
