بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ.

Bismil Laahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

یَا سَامِعَ الدُّعَآءِ وَ یَا رَافِعَ السَّمَآءِ

yaa saame-a’d do-a’aa-e wa yaa raafe-a’s samaaa-e

O the one Who hears the supplication! O the one Who has raised the heavens!

وَ یَا دَآئِمَ الْبَقَآءِ وَ یَا وَاسِعِ الْعَطَآءِ

wa yaa daaa-emal baqaaa-e wa yaa waase-a’l a’taaa-e

O the one Who is ever living! O the one to bestow great bounties

لِذِیْ الْفَاقَۃِ الْعَدِیْمِ

le-zil faaqatil a’deeme

on the one who is dependent and needy.

وَ یَا عَالِمَ الْغُیُوْبِ وَ یَا سَاتِرِ الْعُیُوْبِ

wa yaa a’alemal ghoyoobe wa yaa saateral o’yoobe

O the knower of the unseen! O the Concealer of the unseen!

وَ یَا غَافِرَ الذُّنُوْبِ وَ یَا کَاشِفِ الْکُرُوْبِ

wa yaa ghaaferaz zonoobe wa yaa kaashefal koroobe

O the forgiver of sins! O the averter of difficulties

عَنِ الْمُرْہِقِ الْکَظِیْمِ

a’nil murheqil kazeeme

from the one who is sorrowful and unhappy!

وَ یَا فَائِقِ الصِّفَاتِ وَ یَا مُخْرِجِ النَّبَاتِ

wa yaa faa-eqis sefaate wa yaa mukhrejin nabaate

O the possessor of signs! O the one to make vegetation grow!

وَ یَا مُنْشِئَ الرُّفَاتِ وَ یَا جَامِعَ الشَّتَاتِ

wa yaa munshe-ar rofaate wa yaa jaame-a’sh shataate

O the one to gather the scattered ones! O the one to give life

مِنَ الْاَعْظُمِ الرَّمِیْمِ

menal a-a’zomir rameeme

to the rotten bones!

وَ یَا مُنْزِلَ الْغِیَاثِ مِنَ الدُّلَّجِ الْحِثَاثِ

wa yaa munzelal gheyaase menad dullajil hesaase

O the one Who from black

عَلَی الْحُزْنِ وَالدِّمَاثِ اِلَی الْجُوَّعِ الْغِرَاثِ

a’lal huzne wad demaase elal juwwa-i’l gheraase

and lightening clouds sends water and

مِنَ الْہُزَّمِ الرُّزُوْمِ

menal huzzamir rozoome

smoke to the earth.

وَ یَا خَالِقَ الْبُرُوْجِ سَمَآءً بِلَافُرُوْجٍ

wa yaa khaaleqal borooje samaaa-an belaa foroojin

O the creator of skies together with the might,

مَعَ اللَّیْلِ ذِی الْوُلُوْجِ عَلَی الضَّوْءِ ذِی الْبُلُوْجِ

ma-a’l layle zil wolooje a’laz zaw-e zil bolooje

which is illuminated

یَغْشِیْ سَنَا النُّحُوْمِ

yaghshee sanan nojoome

by the shining of stars.

وَ یَا فَالِقَ الصَّبَاحِ وَ یَا فَاتِحَ النَّجَاحِ

wa yaa faaleqas sabaahe wa yaa faatehan najaahe

O the one Who opens the door to success!

وَ یَا مُرْسِلَ الرِّیَاحِ بَکُوْرًا مَعَ الرَّوَاحِ

wa yaa murselar reyaahe bakooran ma-a’r rawaahe

O the one Who day and night blows the air

فَیَنْشَانِ بِالْغُیُوْمِ

fayanshaane bil-ghomoome

which brings the clouds!

یَا مُرْسِیَ الرَّوَاسِخِ اَوْتَادِہَا الشَّوَامِخِ

yaa murseyar rawaasekhe awtaadehash shawaamekhe

O the one Who by the distinguished qualities

فِی اَرْضِہَا السَّوَابِخِ اَطْوَادِہَا الْبَوَاذِخِ

fee arzehas sawaabekhe atwaadehal bawaazekhe

gathers the strength high and huge mountains

مِنْ صُنْعَۃِ الْقَدِیْمِ

min sun-a’til qateeme

are set in the hard earth.

وَ یَا ہَادِیَ الرِّشَادِ وَ یَا مُلْہِمَ السِّدَادِ

wa yaa haadeyar reshaade wa yaa mulhemas sedaade

And O the leader of guidance and O the one to inspire the mighty!

وَ یَا رَازِقَ الْعِبَادِ وَ یَا مُحْیِیَ الْبِلَادِ

wa yaa raazeqal e’baade wa yaa mohyehal belaade

O the one Who sustains the creatures O the one to enliven the inhabitants

وَ یَا فَارِجَ الْہُمُوْمِ

wa yaa faarejal homoome

and the one to dispel the sorrows.

وَ یَا مَنْ بِہٖ اَعُوْذُ وَ یَا مَنْ بِہٖ اَلُوْذُ

wa yaa man behi a-o’ozo wa yaa man behi aloozo

And He in Whom I seek asylum and refuge,

وَ مِنْ حُکْمِہِ النُّفُوْذُ فَمَا عَنْہُ لِیْ شُذُوْذُ

wa min hukmehin nofoozo famaa a’nho lee shozoozo

Whose order prevails and I don’t have courage to run away from him,

تَبَارکْتَ مِنْ حَلِیْمٍ

tabaarakta min haleemin

Who is great, most high and gentle.

وَ یَا مُطْلِقَ الْاَسِیْرِ وَ یَا جَابِرَ الْکَسِیْرِ

wa yaa mutleqal aseere wa yaa jaaberal kaseere

O the one to free the prisoners and O the one to mend the broken hearts.

وَ یَا مُغْنِیَ الْفَقِیْرِ وَ یَا غَاذِیَ الصَّغِیْرِ

wa yaa mugh-neyal faqeere wa yaa ghaazeyas sagheere

O the one Who makes the indigent, self-sufficient.

وَ یَا شَافِیَ السَّقِیْمِ

wa yaa shaafeyas saqeeme

O the one Who sustains the children and the one Who cures the sick.

مِنَ الذُّلِّ وَ الْمَخَازِيْ وَ الْآفَاتِ وَ الْمَرَازِيْ

menaz zulle wal makhaazee wal aaafaate wal maraazee

dishonour and disgrace, calamities and misfortunes are averted.

یَا مَنْ بِہٖ اِعْتِزَازِیْ وَ یَا مَنْ بِہٖ اِحْتِرَازِیْ

yaa man behi e-a’tezaazee wa yaa man behi ehteraazee

O the one from Whom strength is sought, O the one through Whom

اَعِذْنِیْ مِنَ الْہُمُوْمِ

a-i’znee menal homoome

Protect me from sorrow and discomfort.

وَ مِنْ جِنَّۃٍ وَ اِنْسٍ لِذِکْرِ الْمَعَادِ مُنْسٍ

wa min jinnatin wa insin le-zikril ma-a’ade munsin

Protect me from men and jinns who make me forget the Day of Judgment,

وَ الْقَلْبُ عَنْہُ مُقْسٍ وَ مِنْ شَرِّغَیِّ نَفْسٍ

wal qalbo a’nho muqsin wa min sharre ghayye nafsin

which pains the heart, and which diverts the soul

وَ شَیْطَانِہَا الرَّجِیْمِ

wa shaytaanehar rajeeme

from the stoned Shaitan.

وَ یَا مُنْزِلَ الْمَعَاشِ عَلَی النَّاسِ وَ الْمَوَاشِيْ

wa yaa munzelal ma-a’ashe a’lan naase wal mawaa-shee

And O the one Who sustains the creatures which comprises of men,

وَ الْاَفْرَاخِ فِی الْعِشَاشِ مِنَ الطُّعْمِ وَ الرِّیَاشِ

wal afraakhe fil e’shaashe menat to’me war reyaashe

animals and young ones of birds they are also sustained and clothed.

تَقَدَّسْتَ مِنْ عَلِیْمٍ

taqaddasta min a’leemin

He is the possessor of pure knowledge.

وَ یَا مَالِکَ النَّوَاصِيْ مِنْ طَائِعٍ وَ عَاصِيْ

wa yaa maalekan nawaasee min taa-e-i’n wa a’asee

O the owner of the destines whether obedient or disobedient,

فَمَا عَنْکَ مِنْ مَنَاصٍ لِعَبْدٍ وَ لَا خَلَاصٍ

famaa a’nka min manaasin le-a’bdin wa laa khalaasin

no person is away from You

لِمَاضٍ وَ لَا مُقِیْمٍ

lemaasin wa laa moqeemin

whether he is dead or alive.

وَ یَا خَیْرَ مُسْتَعَاضٍ بِمَحْضِ الْیَقِیْنِ رَاضٍ

wa yaa khayra musta-a’azin be-mahzil yaqeene raazin

O the best of the compensators and the one to give happiness

بِمَا ہُوَ عَلَیْہِ قَاضٍ مِنْ اَحْکَامِہِ الْمَوَاضِ

bemaa howa a’layhe qaazin min ahkaamehil mawaaze

on faith and the one to enforce Your laws,

تَحَنَّنْتَ مِنْ حَکِیْمٍ

tahannanta min hakeemin

You are generous, wise.

وَ یَا مَنْ بِنَا مُحِیْطُ وَ عَنَّا الْاَذٰی یُمِیْطُ

wa yaa man benaa moheeto wa a’nnal azaa yomeeto

O He Who has fully covered us, ward off calamities from us.

وَ مَنْ مُلْکُہٗ بَسِیْطٌ وَ مَنْ عَدْلُہٗ قَسِیْطٌ

wa man mulkohu baseetun wa man a’dlohu qaseetun

Whose kingdom is vast and Who judges

عَلَی الْبِرِّ وَ الْاَثِیْمِ

a’lal birre wal aseeme

between good and evil deeds equally.

وَ یَا رَائِیَ اللُّحُوْظِ وَ یَا سَامِعَ اللُّفُوْظِ

wa yaa raa-eyal lohooze wa yaa saame-a’l lofooze

O the one Who is aware of the actions. O He Who hears the words,

وَ یَا قَاسِمَ الْحُظُوْظِ بِاِحْصَائِہٖ الْحُفُوْظِ

wa yaa qaasemal hozooze be-ehsaa-ehil hofooze

O He Who appoints the destiny from the protected

بِعَدْلٍ مِنَ الْقَسِیْمِ

be-a’dlin menal qaseeme

and familiar justice.

یَا مَنْ ہُوَ السَّمِیْعُ وَ مَنْ عَرْشُہُ الرَّفِیْعُ

yaa man howas samee-o’ wa man a’rshur rafee-o’

O one Who hears, Whose creation is unparalleled, Whose throne is raised,

وَ مَنْ خُلْقُہُ الْبَدِیْعُ وَ مَنْ جارَہُ الْمَنِیْعُ

wa man khulqohul badee-o’ wa man jaarahul manee-o’

Who is protected

مِنَ الظَّالِمِ الْغُشُوْمِ

menaz zaalemil ghoshoome

from every tyrant and oppressor.

یَا مَنْ حَبَا فَاَسْبَغَ بِمَا قَدْ حَبَا وَ سَوَّغَ

yaa man habaa fa-asbagha bemaa qad habaa wa sawwagha

O the One Who gives asked, and whatever He gave, gave nicely.

یَا مَنْ کَفٰی وَ بَلَّغَ بِمَا قَدْ صَفَا وَ فَرَّغَ

yaa man kafaa wa ballagha bemaa qad safaa wa farragha

When He took care it was extremely high, Who made everything clean and pure

مِنْ مِنَّۃِ الْعَظِیْمِ

min minnatil a’zeeme

by the great bounties.

وَ یَا مَلْجَاءَ الضَّعِیْفِ وَ یَا مَفْزَعَ اللَّہِیْفِ

wa yaa mal-ja-az za-e’efe wa yaa mafza-a’l laheefe

O the refuge of the weak, O the redness of the grievances.

تَبَارَکْتَ مِنْ لَطِیْفٍ رَحِیْمٍ بِنَا رَؤُوْفٍ

tabaarakta min lateefin raheemin benaa ra-oofin

O the subtle. You are great and high You are generous and merciful on us,

خَبِیْرٍ بِنَا کَرِیْمٍ

khabeerin benaa kareemin

aware and kind to us.

وَ یَا مَنْ قَضَا بِحَقٍّ عَلٰی نَفْسٍ کُلِّ خَلْقٍ

wa yaa man qazaa be-haqqin a’laa nafsin kulle khalqin

O He Who judges between the people with truth, and the judgment is enforced

وَ فَاتًا بِکُلِّ اُفْقٍ فَمَا یَنْفَعُ التَّوَقِّيْ

wa faatan bekulle ufqin famaa yanfa-u’t tawaqqee

on everything in the universe, after which it is not beneficial to save ourselves

مِنَ الْمَوْتِ وَالْحُتُوْمِ

menal mawte wal hotoome

from death and destruction.

تَرَانِیْ وَ لَا اَرَاکَ وَ لَا رَبَّ لِیْ سِوَاکَ

taraanee wa laa araaka wa laa rabba lee sewaaka

Our Lord! You see us and we cannot see You. There is no lord other than You,

فَقُدْنِیْ اِلٰی ہُدٰکَ وَ لَا تُغْشِنِیْ رَدَاکَ

faqudnee elaa hodaaka wa laa tughshenee radaaka

so guide us towards You and don’t set Your chastisement on us only

بِتَوْفِیْقِکَ الْعَصُوْمِ

be-awfeeqekal a’soome

by Your protected Grace.

یَا مَعْدِنَ الْجَلَالِ وَ ذِی الْعِزِّ وَ الْجَمَالِ

yaa ma’denal jalaale wa zil i’zze wal jamaale

O the possessor of magnanimity. O the possessor of Honour.

وَ ذَا الْمَجْدِ وَ الْفِعَالِ وَ ذَا الْکَبْدِ وَ الْمِحَالِ

wa zal majde wal fe-a’ale wa zal kabde wal mehaale

O the possessor of actions and the initiator.

تَعَالَیْتَ مِنْ حَکِیْمٍ

ta-a’alayta min hakeemin

Your kingdom is High.

اَجِرْنِیْ مِنَ الْجَحِیْمِ وَ مِنْ ہَوْلِہَا الْعَظِیْمِ

ajirnee menal jaheeme wa min hawlehal a’zeeme

O Lord, save me from Hell and from the great fear

وَ مِنْ عَیْشِہَا الذَّمِیْمِ وَ مِنْ حُزْنِہَا الْمُقِیْمِ

wa min a’yshehaz zameeme wa min huznehal moqeeme

and from its life and death and from its eternal sorrow,

وَ مِنْ مَائِہَا الْحَمِیْمِ

wa min maa-ehal hameeme

from its hot water

وَ اَصْحِبْنِیَ الْقُرْاٰنَ وَ اَسْکِنِّیَ الْجِنَانَ

wa ashibnil quraana wa askinneyal jenaana

and make me a companion of Quran, a resident of Heaven,

وَ زَوِّجْنِیَ الْحِسَانَ وَ نَاوِلْنِیَ الْاَمَانَ

wa zawwijneyal hesaana wa naawilneyal amaane

and husband of Houries. Grant me refuge in the Heavens,

اِلٰی جَنَّۃِ النَّعِیْمِ

elaa jannatin na-e’eme

those bounties and pleasures

اِلَی المَنْظَرِ النَّزِیْہِ الَّذِیْ لَا لُغُوْبَ فِیْہِ

elal manzarin nazeehil lazee laa loghooba feehe

in which there is no vulgarity, nor any sorrow, nor lamentation, neither sickness nor fatigue.

ہَنِیْئًا لِسَاکِنِیْہِ وَ طُوْبٰی لِعَامِرِیْہِ

hanee-an lesaakeneehe wa toobaa le-a’amereehe

That pure abode where there will be no hardship,

ذَوِيْ الْمَدْخَلِ الْکَرِیْمِ

zawil madkhalil kareeme

which will be a pleasure for the residents,

اِلٰی مَنْزِلٍ تَعَالٰی بِالْحُسْنِ قَدْ تَوَالٰی

elaa manzelin ta-a’alaa bil-husne qad tawaalaa

and good news for the inhabitants and a place of honour and repute.

بِالنُّوْرِ قَدْ تَلَالَا تَلْقٰی بِہِ الْجَلَالَا

bin-noore qad talaalaa talqaa behil jalaalaa

That high place where beauty continues, which is illuminated by bounties,

بِالسَّیِّدِ الرَّحِیْمِ

bis-sayyedir raheeme

a place of honour for the generous.

اِلَی المَفْرَشِ الوَطِیِّ اِلَی الْمَلْبَسِ البَہِیِّ

elal mafrashil watiyye elal malbasil bahiyye

That place where the carpet is spread,

اِلَی الْمَطْعَمِ الشَّہِیِّ اِلَی الْمَشْرَبِ الرَّوِیْ

elal mat-a’mish shahiyye elal mashrabir rawee

excellent dresses, superb delicacies

مِنَ السَّلْسَلِ الْخَتِیْمِ

menas salsalil khateeme

and cool refreshing water.
